Service was terrible. Excuse after excuse to seat customers. Couldn't seat party until everyone was present & the last one in the straw for me was we had to wait 12 more minutes for a server to clock in. Total of 45 minutes to be seated after the lunch rush and a half empty restaurant. Two tables to seat 13 people with empty tables all around. The last excuse. Your party only has these two tables, then when they saw we had no room to move, they said, we just wanted to see how much more room you needed and gave us a third table. When we first arrived, we were greeted and given a buzzer and a wait time of about 15 minutes. That time was fairly accurate. The drawback is that after we were seated, and orders taken, it took forever to get our food. The restaurant was somewhat busy for a Sunday evening (5:00pm) but taking almost 40 minutes just for the food to come out of the kitchen is a bit overkill. We even considered paying for our drinks and leaving because of how long it took to come out. Our server was nice, and brought refill drinks without asking, but the fact that we needed refills before our food even got to the table should tell you how long it took. Meanwhile we were trying to entertain a hungry toddler who we didn't want to simply fill up on the rolls. Unfortunately, we will never be back to this specific location again because we aren't going to visit Alaska any time in the near future, but if every other location is this slow, I doubt we will ever be back in general to any location. Food was ok. The porterhouse had so much salt and the meat was dry. My ribeye was perfect but the veggies were a mix of overcooked broccoli and barely cooked carrots. The highlight of the meal was the salads and bread. Very disappointed as I could have gone to Olive Garden if that's all I wanted to enjoy. We sat down and just opened the menu and were greeted again by a new server and her trainer! Hailey and Deryck! Hailey is going to an amazing addition to your establishment! Let me start by saying the service our waitress provided was the gold star standard and she deserves a raise for having to work there! So why the one star? Everything else sucked. We were there with friends for a birthday celebration they had made reservations but we didn't get seated for quite a while after the time we reserved and then they couldn't seat us all together. Two separate booths The food was horrible. I ordered a rare filet, was so over cooked it was more medium well.. sent it back. rare steak takes two minutes or less.... Someone should school the cook because I didn't get my steak until our entire party was paying for their meals and getting ready to leave so I did not get to eat my dinner just the sides. My drink I ordered was good but very weak and I'm a light weight... says a lot when I am normally tipsy on one glass of wine and barely could tell this double shot margarita even had alcohol. My side of veggies were unseasoned and barely cooked.... My husband's were over cooked and squishy. My baked potato was over cooked. I always am polite as I know it's not the waitresses fault when the food takes forever or sucks... we always leave a tip when we get great service and that gal did all she could and apologized profusely, none of it was her fault. I ordered online for carry out on the 4th of July. I got there several minutes early to pick up the order. They were very busy. My food was ready about 20 minutes after the estimate from when I ordered. There are two seating areas for waiting, and a large group was very loud and obnoxious, it appears they wanted the seating area closer to the host station to themselves. Other families moved to the seating area for waiting that is slightly further away. I was disappointed with the food. They did not include any bread, given the extra wait it would have been nice if they had been considerate in any way. The vegetables had not been properly thawed, and the salmon appears to have been sitting under a heat lamp for most of the 20 minute delay. I've worked in several restaurants, I'm guessing the order was reading on time and the staff did not add the sides to complete the order until 20 minutes had passed. I regret tipping when I ordered online. If you order online from this location I recommend not tipping when you place the order, and recommend only tipping if the service warrants a tip. read more

After trying a second time to get into Fiora D' Italia without success (Trying to support local). We came to Texas Roadhouse. Plenty of staff, host to keep you updated on seating, and most importantly great food for a great price. Our waitress (Jaymie) was terrific and super nice. I had the Steakhouse salad as I knew it was delicious and it's consistently good. Our server was great, I can't remember his name but he was very outgoing and understanding! We were there for a birthday celebration and he convinced one of our party to ride the saddle. However, the downside. I went to the bathroom many times because I'm pregnant and have to go often. Not once or twice but every single time I went to the bathroom there was workers in there that used the bathroom and didn't wash their hands (women's bathroom) one women I saw twice with long blonde braids. It's $10.99 for a meal and two sides between 4-6pm... you really can't beat that! Secondly, the warm bread with the cinnamon butter!!! mmmm I have been to this location numerous times, and each time I've been greeted with less than a 5 minute wait, and people who are at minimal enjoying their job. Texas Roadhouse is one of the only chain style restaurant that I get excited about. The margaritas are always great, the portions are huge, prices are fair, and the bread is famously wonderful. This location lives up to the standards. Service is good and they are accommodating of big parties. One person at our table sent back an overdone steak and the server was very apologetic and the manager came over to reassure us that a new steak would be out shortly. The new steak was perfect. Wanted a quick dinner before our 6pm movie. So stopped here at 4:45pm on a Saturday night. We were in and out within 1 hr. And made it across the street in time for our show. Sorry I forgot to take good pictures. However we had a part of 6. 3 kids and 3 adults. The server we had was very attentive and on point with refreshing our drinks and bread. 3 of us order sirloin stake meals and and I can't embed the other 2 meals. Portions are large enough for 2 people to share on some meals. My sirloin stake was cooked perfect. And the rest of our food was cooked to perfection as well. We were celebrating my birthday. So I had a strawberry margarita too. They also had me sit in the saddle ask the dang happy birthday to me. The restaurant was clean, the restrooms were clean and hostess greeted us immediately. Clean booth and table area regardless of the peanut buckets. (I still don't eat those.) I ordered the chicken jack sandwich, minus cheese. (I can't eat cheese). The chicken was a little dry and the mushrooms were very salty, but I just cut them back. Husband was happy with the burger he ordered. Staff gave a military discount on the meal. My wife, myself, and one of our friends visited Texas Roadhouse after returning from a trip, and were happy with our decision to visit this location again. One issue that many people seem to have with Texas Roadhouse is the wait that they often encounter when trying to get a table, especially during peak times. I can understand this frustration, especially if you have children with you, and that's why I am going to offer you a big tip (see below). TIP: If you want to avoid waiting for a table to be available, download the Texas Roadhouse app for your phone (I know its available for Apple, not sure about other platforms). With this app you can get an estimate on how long it'll be to get a table, and also get yourself onto the waitlist. I've done this before and was seated almost immediately. You can also pay your bill, complete your customer survey, and track your rewards (such as free appetizer coupons) using this app. While it did not affect anyone in our party, other considerations that should be made when visiting any Texas Roadhouse location (based on my experience of having visited about 12 different locations across the U.S.) is that environment is generally fairly loud (between patrons having conversations on-going at tables and the playing country music) and dark (the main light sources are the lamps above each of the tables). This adds to the ambience of this being a Texas Roadhouse, but should be considered if you want a more quiet and well lit venue. The food, as always, was exceptional! We started with an order of fried pickles, which I would strongly recommend to anyone, along with a side of their horseradish dipping sauce. For my entrée, on this go around, I opted for the beef tips (which were cooked perfectly) with mashed potatoes and green beans. They were actually so good that my wife and our friend each decided to steal a few off of my plate. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich while our friend went with the shrimp dinner, and both were satisfied with their orders. The only quasi-negative comment I have is that there was gravy strewn across the edges of my plate, which gave my meal a hurried appearance, but which may also be part of the way they choose to serve it (I don't know, nor did it affect the taste or quality of the food itself, just a thought). Our service, while somewhat affected by how busy the restaurant was at that time, was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. While I am trying to branch out and see as many different restaurants in the Anchorage area while my wife and I are still here, we still find ourselves coming back to this Texas Roadhouse location as our tried-and-true go-to for a nice comfort food meal. read more

Very wide ranging selection of sides and salads, soft drinks & a great beer selection too. Menu gets a star hands down. Food Quality - Very strong. I have dined here many times now and have always been impressed by the cuts of beef used. I've never had any poor flavor or gristle to contend with. Salads are chilled and never soggy, baked potatoes are always hot and fresh - not sitting in some bin for hours. The key to a good quality reputation is consistency and Texas Roadhouse has it. Food Quality earns an easy star! Value- let's put it this way. A single can get a sirloin with all the fixin's and an endless soft drink for $22. You can barely get out of Taco Bell for that. Family of 4 can dine very well here for well under $75. Considering what you get, this is a very reasonable place to eat. Value gets another star. Service - First rate. Servers are quick to greet you and let you know the specials etc. drink orders arrive in just a few minutes and dinners come up within 10 minutes. This is how it is when there are 5 guests or 200. A restaurant that serves alcohol but, also makes chicken strips, so I can bring my kids. This visit, we came shortly after opening on a Saturday. We were seated in a booth right away. Our server was friendly but the service was spotty. I ordered a mango margarita while my spouse settled for a refreshing budlight. Very few local taps here. The drinks came out fast. The Texas Roadhouse famous bread and honey butter took a long time to come out. Once they finally came out, they were hot and perfect. We got the appetizer combo with spicy chicken, potato skins, and cheese bites. For my entree, I got the steak salad (medium well) with bleu cheese. It was good but I should've asked for well done. Way too much pink for me, so I made my spouse take a few pieces. My spouse got the smothered chicken fried chicken with a side salad and steak fries, that he liked. Lastly, our middle child, got the chicken strips (of course), with loaded mashed potatoes and fries. Portions were decent and we had lots of leftovers. I've been to a lot of Texas Roadhouse locations. It's usually a pretty safe bet when we're traveling. Not this location, this night or this waitress! We will not go back to the Muldoon restaurant. Our waitress acted like we were a major inconvenience for her. We had to ask for Every. Single. Thing. We never did get bread plates. Or refills of butter. Our server or a food runner did bring fresh bread, but not more butter! She couldn't keep track of which of us had sweet and which unsweet tea. Even after her asking us multiple times, she invariably got it wrong. We had 3 in our party. 2 of us got the exact same thing, with salads. Our salads came at least 5 minutes after the main courses and she had to be reminded that we hadn't gotten them. We got one salad dressing to share, and although we both asked for extra croutons, only one of us got any at all. (We shared rather than try to get better service. We knew by this time that that wasn't going to happen!) We both got baked sweet potatoes, too. They were the worst baked sweet potatoes I've ever tasted. They were so watery that they were completely tasteless. The meats were all ok, despite a marked difference in our servings. Remember, 2 of us had identical orders! Yet our mains looked markedly different. My companion had so much more cheese, mushrooms, and onions on his road kill that I had to lift mine up just to be sure that the portion size of the meat was comparable. (It was) Our other companion was satisfied with his choice, except for the lag in getting drink refills. Came for what should have been a quick easy dinner with the kids. Had the most horrible service through the entire visit-then was jammed up as the credit card machines weren't working. Rather than just tell me this-they made me feel like the issue was mine and my card was declined. It was only after the manager came over and told me this issue and that it had been an issue ALL DAY! I ran and got cash to pay the bill--but I will never dine at this location again. EDIT--I sent the money with my daughter to pay-when we got home, she returned the money to me, stating they felt bad and had taken care of it. Though they did cover the bill, it was a humiliating and less the TRH experience. I hold my above comment on not planning to return to that location, but do give credit for an attempt to right things. read more
