We love this place and visit regularly. The food is always on point and the staff is top notch. The rare instance that something is amiss, they take care of it and comp that meal. I purchased 2 orders to go to bring a good meal to my husband who is at an inpatient therapy center. His steak was not cooked to specification and not everything was still warm even though I picked up as soon as they brought it from the kitchen and drove 7 minutes back to where my husband is. I think it would be better if they would package the food in styrofoam instead of the plastic they are using. It might keep the food warm longer. read more

For a chain restaurant I didn't expect the type of amazing service I got from Chrissy. Do yourself a favor and request her she will fix anything you need done. Always loved there ribs but a full rack that's cold doesn't say much for the cooks but she got the manager n fixed it within 5 minutes. Love going to Texas Roadhouse but this location was not as organized as others. The parking lot is hard to back up if you go down the side. We did call ahead and then they paged us but didn't have a table ready they got a table in 5 mins. We were sat next to the bell which they ring and then start clapping. This is very annoying when you are trying to have a peaceful dinner but you can't even hear the person talk or yet alone yourself think. They stood there clapping for 5 mins multiple times. They need to come up with a better thing to do food was good but overall customer service was lacking read more

We visit frequently and normally the service is great. Tonight we called ahead so our wait time was very little. We placed our order which consisted of 2 steak dinners and large pan of salad (salad was a to go order). Our to go order came out first. We waited almost a hour to have our steaks delivered to our table without our baked potato and the steaks were cold. The waitress advised their was an issue with our baked potato and ask if we would like another side and that a manager would be out to talk to us. We informed the waitress that our steaks were cold. She then left and came back with our bill and advised the Manager had removed our 2 dinners (we would only be charged for the to go order and our drinks) and ask if we would like to re-order. I told her I thought it was sad that the manager did not come and talk to us and before we decided if we would like to re-order we would like to confirm if they have potatoes. She then left and never returned to our table to discuss the results, see if we would like another drink or etc for 45 minutes so we left. Out of our last 5 trips 2 of these was POOR service and this was the worst. VERY POOR SERVICE ALL AROUND!!! read more

This location has never been a disappointment. The bread is always fresh, the steaks are properly cooked as ordered, and the staff is friendly and seem well trained. The atmosphere is what you'd expect for this type of steakhouse chain- a bit in the noisy side but not too much so. It seems they are at times a bit understaffed so occasionally the wait on drink refills or more bread and that is the only reason I give 4 instead of 5 starts. read more

Rarely does a Texas Roadhouse fail and this one sure doesn't either. The bread as always is out of this world and the steaks are what you ask them to be cooked. If say a medium steak they bring you medium steak. Great atmosphere for family and friends; best steakhouse in the area. read more

We eat at Texas roadhouse in Ashland Kentucky about two times a week probably more if it were closer! We drive 30 minutes to eat there are steaks are always cooked right the service is wonderful and you can't beat the rolls. read more

My family and I love the Texas Roadhouse in Ashland. If you do call-ahead seating, you can be seated within minutes of arriving no matter how busy they are. The rolls will never fail you, and the cheese fries are seriously to die for. We ate their atleast once a week when we lived in Ashland and now we drive an hour and a half to eat there when we can. Gotta say first off that the steak was excellent...melt in your mouth excellent. Nothing wrong with the food or service, but the reason I am only giving three stars is upon walking back to the restrooms and seeing a filthy kitchen (floor especially) and then the ladies room could have also used some good old cleaning, it kinda ruined my dining experience. Also, not like it was a busy weekend...it was lunch time (not overly busy as we were seated promptly) and on a Monday. Called my order in for curbside service only Wed. May 20th. Gave the person my order and name. My call was made @ 4:24 PM. The person who took my order said that it would be ready in appox. 35 to 40 minutes. I arrived at the Ashland location at 4:55 PM. They took my name checked my order and gave me a slip of paper with my order details and the cost was $11.12. The young man then told me to park at a designated slip #116. I waited and waited and waited. Finally a young lady came by and checked my order slip and said "your order will be right out". This was 5:30 PM. At 6:00 PM She came back and I gave her my CC to pay. Five minutes later She brought my card and slip to sign which I also added $3.88 for a tip. Finally, at 6:40 PM I got my meal- Pulled Pork, plain baked sweet potato and house salad. Almost 2 hours waiting for my meal. I told the Lady who brought my meal that I was not happy with my service. She just shrugged a sorry reply and was gone! I live 10 minutes away. When I got home everything was cold except my salad, it wasn't cold!! That's why they get two stars. read more

I arrived to sign in at call ahead check-in the hostess (Britney Anne) told me I was quoted 80 to 90 (which I would not have agreed to) when I told her I was quoted 50 she told me there are only two people answering phones and that they wouldn't have told me that. My sons took me to the Roadhouse for my birthday May 18th . I called ahead to hold a seat and they seated people before us that hadn't called in . When we were finally seated and placed our order. I understand they are very busy but we were never offered a refill ,barely saw our waiter. When he brought our bill he just laid it on the table and left. We waited a while and decided to go up front and pay. They said we couldnt and had my son walk around everywhere looking for our waiter. We really couldn't remember him very well because we didn't see him much. I had been there 2 times in the past but this time was really a disapointment. Where to start with this place?! The staff is always super friendly! The beer is ice cold, and the rolls with butter before the meal are unbelievable. This is definitely a place to take your family for a good steak dinner, and the salads are great as well. read more

This Texas Roadhouse consistently wins awards as the best in the chain! Great service, yummy steaks, chicken, ribs and all the fixings. It is one my favorite places to go and right across from the Ashland Town Center mall and the Cinemark movie theater. read more
