Salmon Caesar Salad (To-go) missing parmesan and croutons :(
    Kelly S.

I'm staying at a nearby hotel and put in a to go order for pick up. I didn't have high expectations for a Salmon Caesar Salad from Texas Roadhouse, but I did expect it to at least come with parmesan and croutons. The salmon was a little dry and lettuce was also kinda sad and starting to brown. The dressing was good, they gave me a giant bag of rolls and sweet butter, and I was happy to actually get silverware and a straw which are commonly forgotten on to go orders at many places. Overall, it was just okay. It met my need for a convenient meal nearby, but I can't say that I'd recommend it or be excited to go back.

Stopped by to celebrate my twin grandchildren's 13th birthday - even though they refused to let me tell anyone that's why we were there. They absolutely did not want to sit on the saddle no matter how many times I asked. I did like being able to pick my own steak. We were seated right away and the kids devoured two baskets of rolls. That's why they wanted to come to come here. Our waitress was friendly. Orders were taken, and Fri is were delivered quickly. We waited a long time to get our dinner. When it came out though, it was cooked well. My steak - with mushrooms and onions - was a bit on the salty side but that's likely just me. The kids had burgers and chicken tenders - all with smothered fries (bacon and cheese). Do be aware everything added (cheese, bacon, mushrooms and onions) comes with an upcharge.

Great place to pick your own steak when you walk in. I ate there at least 5 times in a 2 week stay in Augusta. If you want personal service, sit at the bar, which is horseshoe shaped. I really liked this place. Somewhat reasonably priced to boot.

Sunday afternoon . Not too busy . Been to a few Texas Roadhouses. Slow service . Missing sides , cold food . No more corn muffins ? Paid extra fee for loaded and it was not loaded at all . Butter tasted different . No warm water in ladies room to wash hands , mentioned it to waitress washing hands. She said it was cold too. She said she would mention it to management. Manager stopped by table. I told her about no hot water she said she has called corporate about it but they do nothing .she said no hot water when dishwasher was going . Hope they are not washing dishes in cold water . Employees using the rest room no hot water to wash hands. Can you say ecoli ? Yikes ! Hell to the no . I won't be back to this or any Texas road house !!

I have always enjoyed the atmosphere and the customer service at Texas Road house. The ability to pick your own steak before being seated is very tempting and in some cases my first choice before I decide on my beverage for the evening. I was very impressed with COVID measures taken by this establishment. There is a tent located outside where an employee will add you to the waiting list and advise you when you can enter the facility. When I got there, I had a party of four and we were seated immediately. They clearly identify all booths and tables that are not to be used and are to maintain social distancing. All employees wear masks and in some cases gloves. They obviously took this very seriously and show a deep concern for their customers based on their COVID measures. I had the bone-in ribeye with baked potato and corn. I asked for a medium cook on the steak and they nailed it. It was not over seasoned, as some have claimed occurred in the past, so that is likely great feedback to help improve the quality of their products. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their meals and the kids definitely took home some extra steak fries. I do have to say, those seasoned steak fries were yummy and I couldn't stop eating them after I felt full. The staff I interacted with was very friendly and all were using some form of PPE as required by COVID guidelines. I would come back again to this establishment and enjoy some more of their delectable steaks.

Place was packed but I found an empty seat @ the bar so I pulled up a chair and made my order. Service was fast and my food was out within 10 minutes. My fried steak wasn't bad but it's hard to beat the grilled bbq chicken.

This is what I would expect to look like after a meal there but it's the exact opposite we are done trying keep your gift card's

What are they famous for you ask? Well, seafood...of course. Specifically, the lobster roll. My boyfriend loves the lobster roll! I had the popcorn chicken basket with crinkle fries that I could eat everyday if given the choice. The seasoning and breading are just right & fried until golden brown without sacrificing safe cooking or flavor. Another one of those busy places-it's a restaurant that attracts locals and tourists. They've always got inspirational quotes on their marquee. Outdoor patio seating (tables with umbrellas) and a no-frills, basic interior decor. Gives total seaside vibes.

They have the option for ordering takeout Ahead of time or online. There is significant outdoor seatting as well as a small interior dining room. The interior has one non gender handicap, accessible bathroom. The menu is not excessive, but the portions are generous. CAUTION: pay close attention to the prices. they will fluctuate and you should not assume what the final cost of your meal will be beforehand!! My clam basket and my daughter's 1/4lb roll (2 20 Oz drinks) totaled $65!! Now I will absolutely give credit to them for the clam portion being large and high quality. These were the type of onion rings that I prefer, which are thinner and more crunchy with less batter. That said, the total completely blew my mind.Because even with a very industry standard upcharge for onion rings in place of french fries.I had sticker shock. I grew up near Portland so I understand the price of seafood can change quickly. But I would say do some price shopping. Because this is more about the experience of the location since the quality of food does exist at other restaurants. In maine.

Time for a little update!…read more It's been a hot minute since we've been back to visit -- four years, actually -- and the fact that this gem still exists says something! This time we brought the whole family for dinner. I'd recommend reservations on weekends since it was packed, but we got seated right away because we planned ahead. Our waitress was top-notch -- high energy, charming, attentive. I'd give her 6 stars if I could! She read our crew well and adapted to each individual at the table -- a skill that clearly came from experience, and it served her (and us) well. Everything we had was great: cocktails, appetizers, dinner -- not a bad thing on the table. But the standouts for me were the Buffalo Cauliflower and the Spicy Shrimp Shio Ramen. For drinks, the seasonal Crazy (whiskey, Amaro Montenegro, beet, cayenne, lemon, egg white) and the Veruca Salt (tequila, coconut, avocado, pineapple, lime) were both incredible. I loved them so much I'm making a special trip back to town during my stay just to have them again ;) Bravo, State Lunch! You've got a fan for life. Book that reservation -- you won't be disappointed.
