Sucks bad because me, my partner and my roommate come here all the time and usually it's a good experience but tonight it's just been really bad... We initially sat down and I don't believe it took too long for our drink orders to be taken, but it went downhill from there. I'm a server myself and sometimes I'm not having a good day and don't necessarily feel like faking conversation, but our server, Ashlynn, wasn't even doing the bare minimum. She took my order wrong (which could've been prevented if she hadn't sprinted off immediately after taking our orders without clarifying) and it took close to 10 minutes to flag down a manager to get it fixed, which is fine because it's close to the holidays so it's super busy, especially at such a central location but Ashlynn SAW that a guest at her table was having an issue and didn't care to come and see if everything was okay. I finally got my food (at this point my partner's, like, sucking on ice cubes because Ashlynn hasn't approached us ONCE other than speedily dropping off a margarita that we didn't even order from her due to her constant disappearing act so the idea of a refill's completely out of the picture) and it was GOOD which, like, if course it is, it's Texas Roadhouse but after that my roommate had to approach the host stand to ask for Ashlynn to come to us. She then again speedily dropped off our requests and then bid us goodbye. Genuinely, she was running from us and avoiding us like we stink or something. I normally don't leave reviews because it's rarely that serious, but the service here tonight really sucked. I understand having an off day, but it doesn't take much thought to realize that maybe you should check in on your table more than once and stop avoiding them like the Plague. She also locked eyes with my roommate SEVERAL times and purposefully ignored us and proceeded to chat with other servers at the POS station. Talked to a manager outside who kind of brushed it off as not too big of a deal. Lunch date with my love because these two introverts will UberEats until we're sick of them. So we decided to come Outside and grab a meal. I'm not a Texas native and I've only been to TR a couple times prior, twice in Georgia and once in Texas. Apparently, they open at 3pm on Fridays unbeknownst to us and other patrons but because it was only a 10 minute wait, we waited. Once open we were seated quickly. The wait staff was nice and the manager did his rounds with the patrons to ensure we were enjoying our meal and service. I ordered catfish and my partner ordered steak & shrimp. We enjoyed our meal but ended up taking our food home because we stuffed ourselves with those delicious rolls and our drinks. The fish was perfectly fried and steak cooked to his liking. Solid neighborhood spot for steaks and drinks. They no longer have open buckets of peanuts in the shell, but you can grab a 4 ounce package at the door if you've got a hankering. They also have a takeout window to the right of the main entrance if you're avoiding indoor spaces. Inside, booths are separated by panes of plexiglass, for whatever it's worth. Draft beer list is disappointing if you're a crafthead - I didn't see any local brews at all. Prime rib dinner was a good value, though - hot dinner rolls, side salad, baked sweet potato and a 10 ounce slice of beef for less than $20. Beef was tender, had a nice smoky flavor and was done exactly as I ordered. My companion got the grilled salmon with fresh green beans - also quite solid. I usually avoid chains, but Texas Roadhouse makes my exceptions list. read more

The last takeout I brought home was missing 3 of the 5 items, and 1 of the items (a steak) was severely overcooked. My husband and I were out on this side of dfw and decided to take a family dinner dine-in! I'm so glad we did too, this was a very enjoyable evening together. Our waiter was very attentive but not overly so. Our drinks were kept filled and our rolls were fresh. Our meals took a bit to receive but it wasn't a horrible wait time considering it was pretty busy. Besides, we were enjoying our table talk and having a good time. I love Texas Roadhouse they are one of my favorite steak places to go to. They are affordable an they have great products for the price. This time I have been CRAVING Prime Rib an it was of course amazing!! For the most part, they had been very busy the night we went so for the food to be not super hot was to be expected. I also got shrimp an a loaded baked potato and shared the meal with my husband. (We have small stomachs due to baritric surgery) My husband did order chili but we never got it, our waitress was very nice but definitely seemed to be stress the one time she made it back to our table to tell us we could just pay the bill with the little game machine thing, Before rushing off again. The restaurant was very busy our wait time had been close to an hour, luckily we had sign in before we left home an stayed home till it was at 15 min which still wasn't accurate but it was the weekend. Everyone was very friendly like most employees at TRs I don't think I have run into a rude employee at any of these restaurants. So besides the minor issues of the food not being piping hot and missing the chili it was a good night . I got to enjoy a great cut of meat that also would be amazing in a sandwich or in the rolls (because you can't stop at just one roll). It was a good night. read more

I've written this place up before, and they continue to impress me enough to keep talking about them. They have only one similar competitor in the area, down at the mall. They are head and shoulders better than the other one, and I can only wish they were closer to me. Tonight they had a hostess on duty who said she was a new hire. She was so bubbly and welcoming, and immediately made the guest feel welcome. She was an African-American girl, and very young, but already doing her part of the work in an exemplary manner. My server was Stacy, and she performed like an ambassador. If one shows up at this place on a weekend evening, you're likely to find a herd of people at the front door. It's that good, and people are coming back because of it. Don't let a wad of people at the door scare you into thinking you're going to need a long wait to get a table. They get through that wait list at remarkable speeds, and the standing room atmosphere is misleading at times. It's a steak and beer place; plain and simple. But they have a more diverse menu than most others in the area, and their beef is top-tier. I usually buy the shish-ke-bab because of it's portioning, and the fact it comes with another serving of vegetables on the skewer. One can also tell them to keep their bed of rice, and select a more healthy side item in exchange. I don't give a flip about alcohol, but it's obvious they have a brisk business of people in there just to socialize over drinks. You'll get delicious rolls fresh from the oven the moment you sit down. And, they also offer the Ziosk brand computerized ordering tool on your table, which saves me wasted time when it's time to pay up and go. The managers in there are very visible, and come by the tables very often. I can't remember having anything I wanted to comment on, as they are already doing a great job. If you like, the steaks are on display as you're coming in, and you have the option of choosing which piece of meat you want directly from their refrigerated display case. EVERY time I darken their door, I go home happy. I would recommend them any day for what they are doing. They are not open every day for lunch. I was very happy with our experience at Texas Roadhouse. We used the "Join Waitlist" on the website, walked in at the time suggested and was immediately seated. Our server was prompt and friendly, she made the experience great. One thing that kept this from a 5 star review, they ran out of baked potatoes and it was a 15 minute wait for more to be ready. If you live in Texas, or maybe even you don't, you've probably been to a Texas Roadhouse before. I don't live in town, so this is the first time I've been to this one, but let me tell you it is the very best one of all. I have family that lives in town, but we usually eat at home when I'm with them so I've never had a chance to try this place in the 17 years they've been open. I had an opportunity tonight, and I just had to see what all the fuss was about. Every single time I've driven by this parking lot and it's open, it's packed. Now I see why. When I walked in, the hostess greeted me promptly and asked if I wanted to pre-order an appetizer. And I was like "You mean right now?!?" And she said yes, so that it'll get to the table sooner. She went and put the order in and I had my potato skins out really quickly. I was so impressed with this level of efficiency. And the potato skins were epic. To give you perspective, it came with about eight skins and I ate 2 1/2 of them and was full. They come with sour cream, but my sweet waitress also brought ranch. I also ordered the grilled chicken salad, but I only ate a bite or two because I was way too full from the potato skins. I am so excited about having them for lunch tomorrow (and maybe the day after that and the day after that at the rate I'm going with them). Texas Roadhouse is known for their out of this world rolls served with cinnamon butter. The ones there tonight were super fresh, super hot and perfect. This is the second horrible experience at this place but not surprisingly. I went to the Texas Roadhouse in Euless to enjoy a steak and baked potato. I was swiftly seated in a booth for two and was told a server would be with me shortly. Unfortunately it was 9.5 minutes before "Gabby" arrived and I greeted her with "Hello, so there really is someone assigned to this table!?" She apologized and asked if I wanted something to drink. I ordered an iced tea, she then asked if I was ready to place my order. I ordered the Porterhouse T-bone steak, loaded baked potato and apple sauce. She repeated the order to me and swiftly left. A few moments later she returned with my iced tea, sat it down and again left. I took a sip of the iced tea and discovered it was unsweetened tea. My choice was sweetened tea and waited for her to return so I could ask her for sweet tea. She never returned - after waiting approximately 12.5 minutes I decided to leave. (Another server even noticed the paper ticket taped to my table, gave me a confused look and ask if I'd been waited on). I collected my personal items, returned to the entrance and asked to speak to a manager. Moments later a beared WM (never introduced himself) approached me and asked if there was a problem. I explained to him my unfortunate experience, so embarrassed by other guest staring at me knowing that I had not been offered any assistance - he offered to reseat me at another table as a resolution however since this was the second bad experience I declined his offer and left. There will NOT be a third experience instead I went to Outback Steakhouse and enjoyed a delicious dinner with above standard service. I have a suggestion to the management of this place - QUIT HIRING CHILDREN. read more
