Had an amazing day hanging out with a friend after a bday drive by and this is close in my area where I live. This is my second visit and again it did not disappoint. The safety for Covid indoors is awesome. Staffed trained up in precautionary measures and you can tell that too. Excellent job Tyler. You made our day memorable by anticipating need before we asked. Decided to try this place on a humble the other day. This is my mothers go to place and she is always telling me how great the food is , so I decided to give it a try. I love the peanuts that are offered while you wait, we were told that our wait would be 30 min it wasn't even a 15 minute wait. When seated I ordered the cactus onion, along with the fried pickles which were so GOOD, fried perfect with ranch dressing a medium rear steak and might I say that it was cooked perfectly and had lots of onions. Took my wife here for her 25th birthday. It wasn't too busy. We ordered the Kenny's cooler and house margarita on the rocks. The drinks were okay but I've had better. Our waitress/bartender seemed nice but wasn't very attentive. When we finished our drinks or appetizers she wouldn't clear our table. We ordered the cactus for a starter and that was a disappointment. Bland is the best way to describe it. My wife ordered the sirloin with chili and baked potato. I got the country friend chicken with chili and baked potato as well. The chili was really good. The baked potato flavor wise was good except it was undercooked and I needed a knife to eat it. I understand with things opening back up; it's the weekend, and the dinner rush, some cause for frustration and miscommunication between the hostesses, and the patrons of the restaurant, may arise. However, I was low key turned off by the customer service here. I haven't been here in a few years, but when I was younger, my family loved coming here - especially for the rolls . My great-aunt, who is in her late 70s, early Dementia - had specifically asked for us to come here to celebrate her son's birthday. Not once, twice - don't make her have to say it again, either, lol. I was even surprised that she remembered this place. To be turned away, after having had to wait for 45 minutes with a party of 8 (5 of them being elderly), the way that we were dismissed bc it was somehow they took down a count of 10. There's a sign in the front, clearly stating that they could not seat a party larger than 8 patrons. So, why would you even entertain a party of 10?! We never even told them 10 people were in our group! My Aunt is visibly upset, my cousin then tries to clarify the misunderstanding of his hostess, and the Manager brushes him off, and walks away! To the officer who was kind enough to speak with my group, and to the Saints (my nickname to all of our elders); thank you for being kind and showing compassion. My cousin is a big guy, and easily looks intimidating - so I'm just glad that you were there to hear everything before even making your presence known. I saw when you pulled in, and walked into the restaurant right before we did. I understand that mistakes happen, but under no circumstances, should someone providing a service completely disrespect someone because of embarrassment. It was a large crowd, and the young lady did not have to stir the argument. Okay, you messed up our reservation, either accommodate the party, or find another solution to rectify. Terrible service, all around just bad! From the minute we walked in we knew we made a mistake and should have left then. The host tried to sit us in the back of the restaurant at a table that was half occupied by the neighboring table, and our waitress talking to the other neighboring table. We were told there were only 2 tables available so to pick one. The waitress didn't know what alcohol was in the bar because she didn't drink. After we ordered our food and drinks. It took over 25 minutes to receive our drinks. We asked about them and the server said oh I only see one of them but the other one isn't ready, then proceeds to bring us our drinks, one of which had melted and both had condensation on like they had be sitting for a while. we came here on a Saturday for an early dinner...the first thing that is wrong with this well known establishment YOUNG untrained employees. this specific location is hiring anybody that can play diner dash really well. it is perfect for high school students to come eat and hang out and talk trash. we were nice enough to collect our used plates and utensils to put it on the side of the table easy for pick up. but instead tons of kid waiters walked pass and wanted to catch up on who's boyfriend made it on this seasons varsity team. drinks were never once refilled. and like kids, when the check came, our waiter wanted to finally stand near us to collect his money. Hell to the no! MANAGEMENT - please go through your customer training process again!!!! This is the food business where service MATTERS! All I wants to do it place an order. The ALL the young ladies that took calls on 7/11 @ 8pm WERE TRASH and I mean that with the same DISRESPECT i received. She hung up on me 5 times, places me on old to then hang up on me 3 more times. I asked to speak with a manger to only be placed on hold again without the manger coming to the line. So... Love this place! The atmosphere is very loud and noisy but food is great. It's probably not the best place to go for a first date or if you're looking for something intimate. Came here a few days ago with my family. We were seated immediately and we're given/offered bread numerous times without ever having to ask. Waiter was nice but the food took a long time to come. Alright, so I heard good things about this restaurant and the Mr. was craving for a steak, so we decided to give this place a try. It gets 3 stars because of their rolls, garden salad, and mozzarella sticks. The service was SLOW... all of the staff looked like and acted like they were forced to be there... the funny thing is, the back of their shirts say, "I love my job" lol. Both of us ordered steaks. One was supposed to be medium well and the other was well done. Welp, both of them were medium well on the edges and weeellll done on the inside. I was supposed to have onions on mine and did not. My Mr. was supposed to get a loaded bake potato and got mashed potatoes. You could tell that they gave us the last bit of rice by its appearance. Yesterday I had the worst experience by The two Managers representing the image of Texas Roadhouse. Dimitri and Kayla were unprofessional and extremely Rude. Me and My party of 2 waited the 45 minutes wait for Our table. When we got the text we enter and as usual I order my steak. The waitress who must been new because most questions we ask she responded "I don't know" sat Us at an Unlit table. When we ask to be seated at another table once again she stated IDK and went and got Manager#1; Kayla with a Nasty disposition came over and we explained that We prefer a table that has light to see our food. We we in a corner section that wasn't well lit. She rolled her eyes and walked away. Then Manager #2Dimitri Came over. We told him the situation with empathy. His respond was if We wanted a table with a light working it will be an Additional 25 minute wait because We will have to go to the back of the line and wait again. Me and My party couldn't understand that statement due to My health which I explain to Both managers I could wait another 25 minutes to eat. So We suggest to Them if they could just change the lightbulb from one of the social distance table that were working ....simple fix We thought. So Manager #1; Kayla rush up aggressively unscrew the bulb over Our table and went to the unused table came back and screw the bulb in more aggressive than the first. Then she just Walked Away. All while Manager#2; Dimitri did and say Nothing. So the bulb didn't work so that when Manager #2 spoke and said "Well I guess We have to call an Electrician" I'm still in disbelief at this point. I wasn't feeling well and my sugar was down so I ask what can We do Now. In an unprofessional tone and posture said "Like I said You must leave and I will put you to the back of the line for y'all to be seated again!" At this point My party of 2 was so upset and wanted to leave all togethe. They walked out. However I was getting myself together still can't believe the service We were receiving Plus I wasn't feeling well. While I'm doing this Manager #2; Dimitri gawking over Me. I looked up and ask if he could give me some bread to get my sugar up he "That would be $2.65!" I was devastated. I ask him for his General Manage name. Rudely He said Jim Girando and his number is 301-860-1728. I was ask what is the number for customer complaints he said rudely 1-800-839-7623. As all this going on I couldn't help Manager #1; Kayla and an Officer staring at Us. Both looking at Me making Me uncomfortable so I ask what is the Officer name . Dimitri rudely said and spelled out Officer Maginson. Then he walked away from Me to the front counter. I wanted to cry but wouldn't give them the satisfaction. I am giving them 5 stars as I have no idea how I haven't rated them before this. For years we have been going here multiple times a month. We really like the Classic Margaritas with 1800 kickers (although I liked it better when they just made the 1800 margarita for you). The servers since the beginning have been pretty good at their worst. Most were excellent. The food is tasty as well. I enjoy their steaks, house salad and even the catfish occasionally. If I am not ver hungry, I will do a baked potato, broccoli, chili and the house salad. The first 3 become my loaded potato. The last 2 trips have not reduced my rating, but were not 5 stars. The first one we had to wait almost 10 minutes to clean the floor which had mayo or salad dressing on it. Once cleaned it was uneventful. The most recent trip things were not smooth. Once seated, we ordered drinks and food. The drinks barely made it before the food. The salads came out either with or after the meal was served. Also their drink prices are misleading. They don't tell you the price of a drink which helps their bottom line (we heard it would be rude to put prices and make it seem like they were nickeling and diminish the customer). The problem is we order a margarita with an 1800 kicker and we know there is a cost as it is marked. A friend got a strawberry margarita and evidently there is a $1 cost for that. It really felt like they were nickeling and dining us. Again this still doesn't drop a star yet as they have been so solid for so long. I just worry that it is drifting down. read more

A large group of us, mostly seniors came at 4 pm today to have dinner. We were seated right away and I must give kudos to our waiter and waitress, Lan and Peaceful. Both of them were stellar and very attentive. It's so nice when you have pleasant individuals taking care of you. Our group couldn't have asked anything more from them. If Texas Roadhouse gives out employee of the month awards, both of them certainly deserve it. I personally had a veggie platter (yes one of those that goes to a steak house and is a vegetarian) and it was all so good for a great price. After the Caesar salad, I pretty much was stuffed. I indulged in one of those delicious bread rolls with that scrumptious butter. I didn't see anyone order a steak out of our group, but I heard several compliments on the chicken and I didn't hear one person complain. This was my first time here and I will definitely be back. I placed my order online at 1:40 pm and still didn't receive my food until 3:30 pm. My visit was about the same long wait and discovered my order was lost. This time I paid for my order and had to request three times to see a manager and was ignored so I had to approach everyone until one was available. No consideration For us that spent 90+ minutes in the parking lot and to make matters worst, my food was very cold and incomplete. After 110 minutes I told the young lady the food first handed to me wasn't my order and she insisted it was my food. While waiting for my food to be corrected I first observed six young workers coming to work without any facial covering. However what I viewed next blew my mind along with other customers as a worker who was delivering food took time to remove his crocs off his feet to remove rocks or other items and did not change his glove and continued to handle customers food. Not good food service practices in my eyes. The App took my money easily but no phone calls being answered or an option to cancel my order when not delivered as promised. My drinks were always crisp, cold and refreshing. My food always comes out piping hot! It has been well over six months since I came here, it is like I never stop being a regular customer. This visit I started out with a cuppa chili as always. The staff here knows I like my chili with extra crackers with cheese, onions, and jalapeños on top. Since my signature cocktail had me feeling a bit loose, I opted to order an entrée. I started out with the grill shrimp as my second appetizer. It was absolutely delicious! I try to eat the bread, but I found myself getting full. Then out came my steak kebabs which was served with seeds and rice stream beans as well as chili. I opted to have my chili to go because at this point I was stuffed! The steak was cooked perfectly, at a medium to medium well temperature. Even the vegetables with the steak kebabs were well seasoned!!!At this point, I simply asked for a to go box because I could not finish the rest of my food. I love this restaurant. My family has been going there for years. I had only one incident that was fixed immediately. Customer service has been good and I am a picky person in the big customer service. Dine in and pickup orders were great. Restaurant clean and friendly. The steak was better than the prime rib restaurant Arundel county. We actually left the prime rib and went to Texas Roadhouse because the prime rib could not compare taste a no d value. Alway good food with enough drink specials! Food is consistent and fairly priced, just perfect when I want an unpretentious meal without all the extras. Ive done steaks, sandwiches and salads and I've never had a problem with any of my food. The in house hand cut steaks are a TRH specialty with a broad selection to choose from. TRH serves all the BBQ places standard fare while differentiating itself with their steaks. The honey rolls are also a TRH hit with people sucking them down by the basket. I usually dine at the bar so I haven't experienced the wait which I presume to be considerable by the dozens of people waiting in the door and front area. I'd also suggest to prepare for a noise time on the busier days, TRH likes to sing for their guests special occasions. read more

Darling Wife has a yen for a lettuce wedge with crumbled blue cheese dressing. Says, "Let's stop at Texas Roadhouse." We sit down. But there is no lettuce wedge with crumbled blue cheese dressing on the menu. We ask Dudley, our server. "Nope," says Duds, "It must be some other steakhouse you have in mind." Nothing exceptional about lunch except the homemade chili was actually pretty good. We share the combination rib-chicken platter which was a little bit of a disappointment. 4 ribs and a heart-shaped boneless chicken breast. The ribs were dry. Aren't Texas ribs supposed to be wet? Or am I as confused as Darling Wife and the lettuce wedge, and my wet ribs are in Memphis? What I'm am going to tell you is an "I kid you not." Piled against the wall are about 20 boxes with big letters that read, "ALLERGEN HAZARD" like they're nuclear waste or something. (Picture posted.) I'm sure they were just peanuts. On August 26 at 6:20 pm. I ordered carry out at Texas Roadhouse in Bowie, MD. As at a local resident, I visit Texas Roadhouse frequently. Thus, it brings me great disappointment to provide a review stating the worst customer I have ever received in a restaurant by a manager. My food in addition to three other patrons carry order was wrong. As a result, I asked for the manager to explain the inaccuracies in my food order. I also stated to the host the other customer concerns. First, the black female manager named Kayla or Kara took about 20 minutrs to come to the pick up window as if she didn't want to deal with wrong orders and customers. Second, when she final came out, she had a nasty, unprofessional demeaner,. Third, she in a condescending manner asked what was wrong and then grabbed my order and went to the back . She spoke to me as if i were her servant. In addition, she didn't even address the other customer concerns. As a Prince George's County resident and professional, I should never have be treated like a second class citized by a restaurant worker in a county that I pay taxes. I am asking for her temporary removal until she receives customer service and restaurant management training. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Maryland. I'm never disappointed when I come. Great customer service. The manager on duty usually comes by to make sure everything is okay. I love that. If you've never been, they have peanuts while you wait and when you are seated. Great atmosphere. You also get these amazing, mouth watering rolls...which comes with a side of CINNAMON BUTTER!!! We ordered the snake bites as our free birthday appetizer (my husband got a free appetizer for his bday coupon via email). My husband ordered the roadkill, loaded fries with chili. I ordered a salad, 6oz sirloin w/ loaded fries. All the food was fresh and cooked to our liking. Our waitress however was super slow and brought out my husband's chili and my salad before our snakebites came out. Then while we were eating that was when the appetizer came out. It took awhile to get our bill also and had to wait awhile for a refill for our waters. So this location has delicious food but crappy service. read more

Well well well we finally made it after my girl continued to boast and brag on this place for months telling me the food was good ..., so i took her for her birthday . Service -Everyone was pleasant we arrived about 7:30 and had about a 30 minute wait not bad for the capacity at that time. Our Server Greg greeted and at that moment I knew we were in good hands Greg was very friendly not overwhelming and informative. Atmosphere-it was a Saturday evening the place was packed but not to the point where it was chaos they handle the crowd very well . I never felt rushed or as if I had to hurry and free my seat . Watch out for the peanut shells on the floor though lol . Food - The food was great and I mean great!! it is not often I go out and get food this tasty. The food came out hot Everything has flavor!!! The biscuits... well worth all the bragging I heard and read about. There was plenty of food yes ate off it for three days . I don't eat pork or beef but by the looks of the ribs they were falling off the bone and I tasted a little tiny piece of steak (by force) which was seasoned well . My chicken was crispy and not soggy even with the gravy. My favorite part and which you see I could not even take a picture of is the sweet potato!!! Something good so much flavor and cooked to perfection. My girl had an alcoholic beverage and it had plenty of alcohol you will not be disappointed. Overall - I will be sure to visit soon and try more things off the menu. I was very very please with the service for Saturday evening.
