    Steak you can purchase
    Nancy T.

Oh, this place is hopping and is a very family oriented place. I took my daughter and her kids and my husband. If it was my husband and I probably wouldn't come here. I like things a little more quiet and food a little bit better. The prices are extremely reasonable. Stockton was our server he was ok, Chantel and Abby were the managers of the night. Both stopped by to check on us, a nice touch. Most of us had some type of steak. My husband wanted Prime Rib but they were out it was only 6:30. I had their special Margarita and it was pretty good. Everyone was full so no desert but it wasn't offered.

Fresh bread and butter are incredible! We sat in the bar, at a booth to watch the World Series, which was fun. Our server was kind and courteous. Ordered a 6oz filet and two sides, protein was grilled exactly to my order. The location is easy to access off the main highway in town and there is a Dollar Tree store in the same parking lot.

The family and I went to Texas Roadhouse for the first time to enjoy our Fat Tuesday dinner. Starting with their ease of online reservations to the moment we walked out the door, we were pleasantly impressed! Kylee, our waitress was kind, energetic, knowledgeable of the menu, quick to take our orders and timely in bringing out our drinks, starters, and meal without making us feel rushed in any way. The manager, Chantelle (spelling?), even came to our table to see how our meal was going! That's GREAT customer service-seeing the manager on the floor meeting the families! As for the ambiance---what can I say? Texas does it big--sports, country music, western decor! So fun! The food was great! Their homemade rolls are so soft and warm when you're seated. Our bread came with an apple cinnamon cream cheese/butter! Delicious! We ordered the bacon cheeseburger, chicken salad, 20oz prime rib, bbq chicken wings, sangria margarita, and of course my husband ordered a beer! I would recommend them all!!! Very delicious!! If you're ordering a burger and fries, I will warn you that my burger was a bit salty. I LOVE salty, so I very much enjoyed it, but I can see how it could be too much for some people. The price to walk out of there completely stuffed was also very reasonable!

This is how veterans are respected in Coeur d alene ID, at Texas Roadhouse

The food is what you expect. I was very disappointed when I pulled in parking lot. They claim how they respect veterans. Well they changed their veteran parking to to go order parking. I don't know if this is nationwide, or this location is the special one. I won't be returning to any location until they learn to respect veterans again.

Really one of the most underrated American Steakhouse chains - they are almost always spot on. What hasn't been said, the servers are always friendly and always with a smile. I always sit at the bar and it's comfortable and usually crowded. I went with the filet prepared medium. Fantastic, cooked perfectly, lots of flavor for a filet. Comes with two sides, try the sweet potato if you haven't, comes with butter and brown sugar. Had the house salad as the starter. The weather was horrible - ice and snow but the place was packed. My vehicle was completely covered after only an hour and a half. Ugh!

    Steak fries

Our food were cooked as ordered, the New York strip was delicious, and the pork chop was delicious with the mushrooms and onions. The sides, rice (salty forward), buttered corn helped to reduced the saltiness of rice The baked potatoes, loaded was very good and the steak fries were great Megan our server was very attentive and friendly. Good job Good ambiance, family friendly

Careful- the website has the wrong pricing. It tells you a cheaper price, and then the website adds an extra $10 without showing the price breakdown. If you call them on the phone they'll tell you to come in so they can fix it, and then they'll say they won't honor the website displayed price and you'll have to pay full price. If you complain enough they'll give you a brochure coupon that will bring it to the normal price. They should fix their website or take it down and fix the problem so they're not overcharging people.

We had the fried pickles. They were ok the breading fell off because it was regular flour. Fried zucchini would be better but not on menu. Had the 11oz steak. Cooked perfectly. Had mashed potatoes tasted like boxed with skin thrown in. Lol. and veggies. They were ok. Lots of butter on everything. The staff was great. and its a typical sports bar style place. Ill go back. Just in about 2 yrs.

We ordered the spring salads with grilled chicken. It was ok. Not worth $17. Then they ran out of blue cheese crumbles and ran to the store. And a very long time for the bill which I thought the might credit a dollar or two due to running out of blue cheese. But no. Just an apology. Indoor eating is very loud. So be prepared. Also the bathroom had no hand towels to dry my hands. Sorry to be disappointed. It might have been an off day as it seems pretty popular.

She gave me a menu then momentarily disappeared to get me a room temperature water (delightful) and then we discussed the menu. I then ordered with her suggestions and waited. Not too very long thereafter, my lunch arrived - a lovely surprising portion, colorful, well presented and exactly as I was hoping for. The parmesan halibut addition to my seasonal salad (which BTW is not current on their website but my variation was DELISH) was tasteful and moist. The kale based salad was dressed in a cranberry vinaigrette, but I'd asked for a side of Bleu Cheese as well (my weakness, especially if it's a delightful house made version as this was). I only ate half & took the rest home, as it was large enough for two meals - and @ a price point which was reasonable for this day & age! We went for an early Sunday breakfast and were seated quickly. By the time we left around 9 there were still a handful of open tables, but I would guess reservations are smart from 9:30 on. I started with a cortado made with Evan's Brothers beans. They also offer a chicory blend if that is your thing. Our waitress was attentive, answered all of our questions, and was great about a few modifications we asked for. They do have some gluten free and vegetarian options, though not a huge amount of gluten free. We started with the beignets and they were excellent. Perfect portion for two with a couple topping options. I would go back just for those. I ordered their take on eggs Benedict and my husband had the classic breakfast plate. Both were really flavorful, but the seasoned potatoes were a standout. Portions are generous, we ended up getting two more portions out of the leftovers. Overall, a really fun and memorable brunch spot. I am looking forward to going back for one of the events when they have live music.

That being said, service was very good. That's the high point. The WINGS were a disappointment. They were akin to Costco's precooked wings, but these were all about presentation versus good taste. Try not petrifying the meat would be a good start. I had one of the hamburger plates. I really liked the fries. These were well prepared. The hamburger on the other hand was lacking any uniqueness or even quality beef. So if you are one of those people that believes a hamburger should be a culinary experience, this is not the dish you want to get here. Okay, I hate to be the negative Nelly, but the worst part of the upscale experience was the crescendo of noise. It crept up on you as the lunch crowd moved in. It was seriously hard to communicate at your own table. The decor offers little to no sound mitigation. Seriously, consider acoustic tiles. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Prices were fair, given our current economic conditions.
