Update 5.6.26: I know people come here to eat meat since after all, it is a meat house lol. However, my visit was to see what they offer as far as seafood goes and if they cook it as well as their tasty meats. We arrived about a half hour after they opened and they were already getting busy, but was seated right away. The ambiance was hustle and bustle and probably a bit louder than average since music was playing overhead. Our server, Michaela, greeted us with a smile and good energy. She took our drink order and to see if we already knew what appetizer we wanted, which we ordered the Cactus Blossom. I saw they have new dirty sodas and got a Strawberry and Vanilla Cream with Sprite and it was super delish. Hot rolls and cinnabutter were dropped off and shortly after, our Cactus Blossom. Thus far, everything was tasting great. Then suddenly, the ladies came out and did a line dance for the diners. I was into since they were line dancing to the song, Foot Loose, lol. That was fun to watch! For my entree, of the 3 dockside choices available (see pic), I went with the 5oz Grilled Salmon with 2 sides. I was already getting full and ordered the smaller portion, but they do offer an 8oz portion. The 2 sides I picked were: sweet potato with butter and brown sugar and mac & cheese. My roommate ordered the filet mignon and rib combo with his sides as a cup of chili and fries. The salmon with lemon pepper sauce was amazing! The grill was just right and the sauce was light, not thick, and really flavorful. The sweet potato looked and tasted great. The mac & cheese lacked flavor and should have added the extra cheddar when she asked me. My roommate said his meal was great and that the cook on his meat was spot on. Tonight's dinner was amazing and so was the service! We even had the manager stop by and check on us. By the time we left, it was a packed house. read more

We accidentally entered our party size as six instead of eight on the waitlist, although the additional two guests were small children. We completely understand that this was our mistake and that accommodating a larger party may require a longer wait. However, we had already been waiting for over an hour when we realized the error and spoke with the host stand. All three employees we interacted with were extremely rude and dismissive. No one showed any understanding, offered to check whether there were options, or even explained the situation politely. We were simply made to feel as though we were an inconvenience and that we could not be seated for another 45 minutes since there was eight of us. We were not expecting to be seated immediately or to skip ahead of other guests. We only expected basic courtesy and a willingness to see whether our party could still be accommodated. A little empathy and professionalism would have made a frustrating situation much easier to understand. read more

The atmosphere was fantastic, and I especially enjoyed the music playing in the background. It created such a fun and lively dining experience. Our waiter was wonderful, extremely attentive, friendly, and consistently made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The warm rolls were absolutely delicious and easily one of the highlights of the evening. I also really enjoyed my drink, which was prepared perfectly. Unfortunately, the rest of the food was underwhelming and didn't quite match the quality of the service or atmosphere. While this visit didn't completely win me over, one experience doesn't always tell the full story. Who knows, I may eventually give them a second chance and discover something on the menu that changes my mind. read more

Oh, this place is hopping and is a very family oriented place. I took my daughter and her kids and my husband. If it was my husband and I probably wouldn't come here. I like things a little more quiet and food a little bit better. The prices are extremely reasonable. Stockton was our server he was ok, Chantel and Abby were the managers of the night. Both stopped by to check on us, a nice touch. Most of us had some type of steak. My husband wanted Prime Rib but they were out it was only 6:30. I had their special Margarita and it was pretty good. We had a reservation for 13 people at 8 PM. From the start, things were disorganized -- we were first told a single table was ready, then told we'd need to wait 45 minutes, then offered two separate tables. Once seated, all peanuts, plates, and silverware were delivered to only one table, and that table had to pass everything to the second table. Service declined quickly. A drink order was forgotten, and when the server returned without it, she asked the same guest if they wanted "another" drink -- clearly forgetting the original order. Meals were handled extremely poorly: instead of treating the two tables separately and bringing six meals to each, food came out in scattered groups of three. Another large party seated after us received their meals before our tables were fully served. The server appeared visibly irritated when asked why this was happening, even walking away shaking her head -- something multiple people at our table witnessed. The manager initially approached with incorrect information, clearly based on a misunderstanding from the server. His tone was defensive at first, and even simple requests (like A1 sauce) were forgotten. He later admitted their system was broken and that our meals should have been handled differently. Most concerning was the mishandling of a food allergy. We clearly stated that one child could not have butter due to a dairy and egg allergy. Two identical kids' meals were ordered, but we were not told which one was safe until the second arrived. At least two people at our table said not to tip at all. I don't leave negative reviews lightly, and I make a point to also recognize great service when I receive it. During this same trip, Coyol in Coeur d'Alene provided outstanding service, and I will be leaving them a positive review as well. read more

Boy is it hard to rate this Texas Roadhouse. First of all, let me just say that I love Texas Roadhouse. I think it's a great chain restaurant, I think it's a great place to get an inexpensive steak. So what is it about this location specifically that brings it down to four stars? The first one is that it is always crazy busy. I understand this is them being a victim of their own success, but it's really annoying when you want to just go get dinner on a Tuesday or a Wednesday and there's a 20 minute wait for a table. In addition, once you get a table, your server is going to be slammed with how busy it is. It's very difficult to get people's attention other than on their regularly scheduled trips to your table. The next thing that brings this location down to four stars, is that the food - and I don't really know how to explain this - just is sometimes not quite as good as I have had it at other Texas Roadhouse locations. I think the place where this is the most obvious and is in the green beans where there's just an excessive amount of liquid. But even sometimes the stakes are not cooked as well as they should be or seasoned as well as they should be. The last thing that brings this place down is the parking lot. I understand it's a shared parking lot, I understand parking lots are terrible, this one is really really bad. There's no easy way in and out off of the street, once you get in people are confused, there's traffic, it's hard to find a place to park. So overall, I like Texas Roadhouse. If you want to go to a Texas Roadhouse you are going to appreciate this location, just like I do. Just be ready for it to be busy, the food to sometimes be a little lower in quality than you might expect, and for the parking lot to be a disaster. read more

Served cold grilled shrimp, told waitress. She was great. Took too long to get because why prioritize grilling 6 shrimp. Anytime they say "real quick", forget it. 2nd time this has happened. So I finished my meal and then the shrimp showed up. Which I didn't eat because I was full. And yes, I paid for them. No discount or offer of a free dessert, or heck, a coupon for an onion. Fresh bread and butter are incredible! We sat in the bar, at a booth to watch the World Series, which was fun. Our server was kind and courteous. Ordered a 6oz filet and two sides, protein was grilled exactly to my order. Had dinner at CDA Texas Roadhouse and was served a garden salad with wilted lettuce with brown edges. I reported this to the waitress, who in turn showed it to the manager. I was offered a replacement salad by the manager but declined. The manager explained policy as a 2 day shelf life for the salad . After 2 days food gets tossed out. So, a garden salad is almost never served fresh. This was my second time a poor quality garden salad was served . Appreciate the kindness extended to me in this situation but... I have to say I had one of the best filets I have ever had & that is going up against some stiff competition!! The chef who cooked it really took the time to make sure it was truly amazing - whoever you were - THANK YOU FOR MY EXPERIENCE! The waitress we had was also AMAZING!! Everything was absolutely wonderful from our trip! Wait time was long, but that's to be expected from such a busy restaurant. Hostesses were doing a wonderful job dealing with the HUGE amount of people (I'm talking line out the door). Once we were sat we were given Patrick as our server and he was wonderful and very friendly, gave us good service despite us being teenagers and it being very busy, was very attentive and overall just a great server. The atmosphere was very fun as well, people were cheering for things, there was a birthday,it was just a great place to be. Really one of the most underrated American Steakhouse chains - they are almost always spot on. What hasn't been said, the servers are always friendly and always with a smile. I always sit at the bar and it's comfortable and usually crowded. I went with the filet prepared medium. Fantastic, cooked perfectly, lots of flavor for a filet. Comes with two sides, try the sweet potato if you haven't, comes with butter and brown sugar. Had the house salad as the starter. The weather was horrible - ice and snow but the place was packed. The family and I went to Texas Roadhouse for the first time to enjoy our Fat Tuesday dinner. Starting with their ease of online reservations to the moment we walked out the door, we were pleasantly impressed! Kylee, our waitress was kind, energetic, knowledgeable of the menu, quick to take our orders and timely in bringing out our drinks, starters, and meal without making us feel rushed in any way. The manager, Chantelle (spelling?), even came to our table to see how our meal was going! That's GREAT customer service-seeing the manager on the floor meeting the families! As for the ambiance---what can I say? Texas does it big--sports, country music, western decor! So fun! The food was great! Their homemade rolls are so soft and warm when you're seated. Our bread came with an apple cinnamon cream cheese/butter! Delicious! We ordered the bacon cheeseburger, chicken salad, 20oz prime rib, bbq chicken wings, sangria margarita, and of course my husband ordered a beer! I would recommend them all!!! Very delicious!! If you're ordering a burger and fries, I will warn you that my burger was a bit salty. I LOVE salty, so I very much enjoyed it, but I can see how it could be too much for some people. I went to Texas Roadhouse for the very first time two months ago. I wasn't sure if it would live up to the hype but i was pleasantly surprised that it exceeded all of my expectations. Service was friendly, and efficient. Food was actually really great with equally great pricing. It's been really busy inside each time we go but aside from squeezing between tables and people to get to your seat, you'd never know. Exceptional value for a family of six. My kids ask to go here anytime we have no dinner plans. read more

Careful- the website has the wrong pricing. It tells you a cheaper price, and then the website adds an extra $10 without showing the price breakdown. If you call them on the phone they'll tell you to come in so they can fix it, and then they'll say they won't honor the website displayed price and you'll have to pay full price. If you complain enough they'll give you a brochure coupon that will bring it to the normal price. They should fix their website or take it down and fix the problem so they're not overcharging people. read more

Yes, the place can be very busy during dinner hours and you can expect some wait time, but the restaurant is big with a lit of seating so we have never had to wait too long. The waitresses have always been very nice and attentive, and the food is always delicious! I've never had anything I didn't like so that's a win in my book! Also, the prices are much cheaper than Outback Steakhouse. They offer lots of appetizer choices in addition to many different side options. Not sure what has changed, but the experience has been different the last few times we've been here. This time, though (last night), we had a very uncomfortable interruption to our meal. After our dinners were brought to the table and we began eating, two young staff males started leaning up against the wall above our booth. Their conversation was quite loud, but then the one young man kept leaning further and further back until he started knocking over the menus on our table into our food. I finally asked him to stop and he questioned "what was my problem". I said that he was knocking over the menus onto our dinner and he didn't think he was being an annoyance. Finally, the other young man told him to stop, but he never apologized or took responsibility for ruining our dinner. We still tipped 25% because it wasn't our waitress' fault, but it was a less than ideal dinner experience. read more

Texas Roadhouse always seems like a reliable family friendly restaurant when you're traveling or looking for something quick and familiar. Even though it was crowded when we arrived we were seated immediately. The rolls and fried pickle appetizer we ordered came out immediately but then we proceeded to wait a full hour for our entrees. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume there was an issue in the kitchen on the particular night we visited and it was just an off night. The waiter was kind and empathetic but didn't offer any explanation. When our food finally arrived it was okay, with the exception of one of the kids meals that came out with three of the smallest chicken tenders I've ever seen. When I asked the waiter if that was the normal portion size he raised his eyebrow and said "ummm there's usually a little more" with no resolution offered. Wasn't until we got the check that I noticed the juices never came out either but by that time we had majorly restless kids and had to get out of there ASAP. OK, I do love Texas roadhouse especially their tri-tip and mashed potatoes and gravy! Super good and I'm always glad there's leftovers I can bring home and have for a second meal! The thing is if you don't like loud and noisy places, this is not for you, it is very loud and boisterous. Not good for a first date because you can't hold a decent conversation here because of the noise. But it is lively and upbeat.
