Talk about a classy place. Old school steakhouse vibes. Great service and delicious food. Im sos stuffed I need someone to roll me out of here. Its pricey but I do think it was worth every penny. Come hungry and dont be afraid to share the food with your group. Portions are huge.

Taylor was amazing and old fashioned she created was delicious. The burger on the other hand came out well done instead of med rare and the bottom bun was soaked through with grease, which made the burger a real mess to eat. I would try again but only for a different food item.

The service was on par! Server was attentive and patient with is when we asked for pics. Some people ordered steaks and it was cookeed to their liking, the others and myself had the king salmon it was delicious. It was a nice set up where the bar was in a seperate room from the dining basically behind a glass door. My only complaint was thtere was not enough parking.

Awesome service with classic steakhouse vibes! We splurged on the Tomahawk and absolutely loved it. Cooked to perfection with the perfect balance of seasoning, but not too much to overwhelm the incredible meaty deliciousness of this cut. The Panna Cotta dessert was outrageously good as well. Will definitely come back to this place.

When I saw a steakhouse in the lobby of my hotel, I was sure they'd have a good burger. Well I was wrong. It was the epitome of mediocre and the French fries weren't worth the calories. Also, I love spicy food and serrano chilis but ordering one on the side for an extra dollar, along with mushrooms, almost killed me. I like spicy but this felt like a personal attack. I wish I remembered our server's name because he was the best part of my dining experience. I'd say the second best part was the ambiance. The wood covering most of the restaurant made it feel very old school. But will I eat here again? No I will not.

Pricey but worth the buck! Food was great, menu sections are decent, and service was good. Restaurant was clean and had a good atmosphere. Customers kept coming in and traffic was steady. Tried the Wagyu Steak Sandwich, Caesar Salad, and Cheesecake. All tasted great but that Wagyu Steak Sandwich.... AMAZING!!! Why Four Stars??? The Wagyu Steak Sandwich was over cooked. I ordered medium rare and got well done.

Even with lots going on in the area, we were able to get a table without a reservation. The decor is warm and inviting and the booth seats were comfortable. Mark was our server and did a great job. He explained the menu and specials and welcomed us as it was our first time here. Unfortunately the food and beverages were a bit disappointing. My Jameson's Ginger Smash was refreshing but the Vanilla Old fashion was smaller and a bit too sweet. The Scallops Rockefeller were tasty but $32 for only 2 is a bit pricey. They came on shells with spinach, fresh garlic, and smoked pork belly. It was a good flavor combination. The house soup, smoked cheese and broccoli, was way too thick. We thought we were eating bowls of gravy. I loved the Strawberry Feta Spinach Salad topped with candied walnuts. The Wedge had plenty of tasty pickled onions, tomatoes, and blue cheese, but lacked bacon. We did like the fact that there are pepper grinders at each table.

I'm surprised that this place has an average rating of just 3.6. maybe I just ordered the right stuff. We were a group of 15 but my review is specific to me. Drinks - So I'm on a bit of a dry Q1 so been experimenting with what I drink while all my colleagues drink alcohol. I got a soda, with crushed mint, serrano peppers, lime and a tajin rim. Glad they could accommodate it and it was great. Appetizers. Got the beaf tomato dish. Haven't had it before but loved every bit of it. If I'm being a bit picky, I'd say they could have presented it better and not made it a challenge to get individual servings Entre - ribeye, Pittsburgh style with back blue cheese brulle. Firstly I'm glad the server knew what I was talking about about and secondly I'm glad they could do it. It was perfect. Well marbled, right temperature, color and seared just right. Great experience overall

Looking for a late night meal, we headed over to the hotel restaurant. Chicken Pot Pie. It wasn't all that great. The crust was too hard and dry and the filling didn't have much flavor. Vibes were nice, as well as the staff.

Many great wine and food options to choose. Had a wonderful meal with nicely prepared elk meat. The place has a great atmosphere with low lighting setting in the bar area. Very friendly bartenders.

Honestly, Wooden City really lives up to its hype. It's an upscale spot right in downtown Spokane,…read morebut still feels warm and lively instead of overly formal. Definitely one of the best-quality restaurants in the city, where every dish was thoughtfully made and packed with flavor. What we ordered: Starters: - Spring Salad: Super fresh and well-balanced. The snap peas were crisp, with strawberries added for sweetness, and the goat cheese + pistachios gave it a creamy, nutty contrast. The lemon & tarragon vinaigrette tied everything together with a light, herby flavor. - Jerk Cauliflower: Crunchy cauliflower with Caribbean spices with a creamy jerk sauce, good as a side Appetizers: - Peel 'n' Eat Shrimp: Really juicy and spicy from the Cajun spice. There's butter to dip in but I found it too greasy and prefer lemon instead. - Blistered Hungarian Peppers: Smoky pepper with some sweetness and savory from the sausage and cheddar. Served with a toasted focaccia that soak up all the sauce. Main dishes: - Chicken Schnitzel: One of the must-orders. Crispy, golden breading, super tender inside. The lemon & caper butter sauce added acidity and richness that elevated the whole dish. Yoy have to order extra because it's never enough for the table. Yes, it's that good. - Marbled Duroc Pork Chop: Another favorite . Juicy and tender, with 'nduja salsa brava bringing a spicy depth, while lemon tahini and marcona almonds added creaminess and crunch. I always missed tasting this dish like my first time - Beet Ravioli: Earthy and slightly sweet flavor, nice texture but I hate goat cheese so I'm not really a fan of this dish - Pesto Bacon Pizza: Delicious crunch, loved the combo of mozzarella and gorgonzola, kind of creamy with a bit of funk. Balsamic do help balance and gave it a sweet tangy flavor, or else it would be too heavy for me (yes, not a pizza fan) Drinks & Dessert - Not Mai Tai mocktail: very aesthetically looking drink, but a bit too sweet to my liking - Apple crisp: cozy and warm, with baked apple & pecan crumble and served with vanilla ice cream on top. Delicious ice cream. - Pumpkin cheesecake: My 3rd favorite of the night, I still dream about it!! Rich, smooth, and perfectly spiced, you shouldn't skip this!!! That said, I do have to take away a couple points for timing. Our foods took 45 mins to come out even though I had reservations and note the menu items via the email, and the wait time between each dish was also... very confusing. It broke the flow of our meal. But once the food hit the table, it was hard to stay mad, so I forgave them.

I feel like I just went to a dress rehearsal about a play about a group of friends who got together…read moreand said "How about we open a restaurant? That would be fun!" Tonight was just so strange. First, I had no idea who was an employee. There were two girls that were going around together over and over, they kept stopping at tables so I think they worked there...but they never had anything in their hands. Our server seemed to keep forgetting we were there. Or just forgetting she was employed in general. Seriously just not with it. She was very nice...when she remembered we were there. I will say the pizza crust tasted amazing. So many places that serve pizza think of the crust as just something to put toppings on, but this had great flavor. Sadly, it was rolled too thin and said toppings made it somewhat soggy. Caesar salad was ok. Romaine was really fresh and crisp and the homemade croutons were still a little warm. Very good. However, the dressing was rather bland. And when I asked for pepper for it, our waitress first had it in her head that I expected some kind of peppers on my salad. When she finally understood I meant black pepper, she went away. Eventually she returned. Not with a pepper grinder or a shaker, but a sauce bowl that had about 3 tablespoons of black pepper in it. I wouldn't use that much pepper if I cooked for myself for a week and used it with every dish. Had to ask for knives for some of people's meals. I will say the spicy lamb rigatoni was amazing, pasta just right and the sauce and flavor was peak. I am just not sure what to say, other than this was the strangest and most disorganized dining experience I have ever had. I think if a grown up showed up and brought the kids into line, this place would be amazing. Also, for what we paid, I expected to be wowed, not left wondering what I just experienced.

But this restaurant is very pricey for inconsistent food. We've been twice now- didn't love it enough the first time but wanted to give it a second chance. The lemon pasta was divine the first time- but my carbonara was unflavored paste- I literally thought I had COVID and lost the ability to taste food but everyone else's food tasted good so that theory didn't hold up. This time I ordered the lemon pasta and instead of creamy, delightful and tasty it was a little bland and watery. The waitress "fixed it " by offering me more Parmesan to thicken it. I'd added prawns- they were nice. My companion ordered the veal parm- the tomato sauce wasn't amazing and the breading was a bit heavy. He wasn't impressed and didn't finish the dish. The risotto was just OK. Again, it's very pricey for just OK. The food isn't trash but if you've had great food you don't want to pay so much for just ok. We would rather spend the money at Luna or Francaise or Wooden City. Dessert was yummy. The first time we went we arrived first seating and it looked like the AARP theater crowd, the last night we went seemed like a galantine's preview! So if you're there for the drinks, appetizers and ambiance it's quite nice. I can't endorse it whole heartedly because the entree's weren't consistently good enough to give the full 5 stars. Service was fine and we tipped accordingly. Good luck!

The biggest issue right away was how long the food took. It felt like we were waiting forever, and by the time it finally came out, it definitely didn't feel worth it. We started with the pretzel, which honestly was nothing like a pretzel. It tasted more like glorified fried dough and didn't have that classic pretzel texture or flavor at all. For drinks, mine was way too strong and just didn't taste good. It wasn't balanced at all and ended up being hard to even enjoy. For my main, I ordered the Cascadia burger medium, but it came out clearly well done and overcooked. On top of that, the egg on it was severely undercooked.. some of the whites were still clear and slimy, which completely ruined it for me. I had also heard good things about the mac and cheese, so I gave it a try, but that was another disappointment. It was bland and runny, and even after adding salt and pepper, it still had no real flavor. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, which wasn't terrible, but it was definitely on the dry side. They were also out of fries, so he had to get fruit instead, which was kind of disappointing. Overall, the food took way too long, the quality didn't match the price, and the experience just didn't live up to the hype at all. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
