Good steak at a decent price. I can recommend the burgers as well. The staff and management are friendly and prompt. They are very accommodating with special requests as well. The ribs and pork chops are also excellent choices if you prefer pork to beef. The food quality control is very good. I would consider Texas Roadhouse being of comparable style and price to Logan's. Steakhouse Texas Roadhouse ranks well above Logan's in steak quality and preparation. If you are looking for the very best (and willing to pay accordingly) The Precinct, Ruth's or Morton's should be your choice. read more

Terrible experience with the service today. I came here with a diabetic family member, hoping for a menu with the carbs listed. WRONG. I asked for the menu from, not 1, but 2 employees. Nobody returned with one. Finally our waitress came back and said "that information is on the website" in which I responded with "It only has calories listed, is there somewhere else to look?". In the most rude voice the waitress said "Well, then that's the best you're going to get". She did not care nor did she help me look. My family member was diagnosed just 2 days ago, so he was already uncomfortable and then the waitress made him even more insecure. So disappointed with the service. Ok... I love Texas Roadhouse but was a bit worried about service levels based on previous reviewed but still wanted good food and decided to give it a try... Went alone since I am in town for work tried to sit at bar (wanted to see service at bar) but it was full. Went back to front and Hostess said "we can seat you now" so A+ for promptness considering it was busy, but they had table. They did not make me wait around unnecessarily... The delivered the fresh bread while seating me ... With was impressive and efficient as well. Waiter was punctual, i ordered frozen raspberry Margarita and 8oz steak w grilled shrimps. He asked me what 2 sides... Walked away and within 2 min someone was delivering my drink and caesar salad!! That efficient! Again that is A+ service. Finished salad, was promptly removed, 2 min later steak showed up... Food and drink both delicious and grilled mushrooms the best.... During the meal waiter stopped by and checked on me once again... Super great service! Finished eating, waited about 3 min then he came cleaned up... And came back with check.... Was not in a hurry but love the efficiency and tentative waiters... Surprised at previous reviews rating and service wanted to write this to let everyone know either management has take the necessary steps to improve service or might just be the luck of the litter ;) read more

I was starving after a long day of flying and craving a steak. This was the closest place to my hotel. I've eaten at one of these before so I knew what to expect for the most part. Food is good and served quickly. Beer was cheap @ $3.00 for a 22 oz and I was drinking Yuengling ( BONUS). Steak was tender and flavorful if not just a little over salted, but still good. Fast and effcicient, just like you expect a chain to be. Poor Bar Service. Out of town customers beware - Dave is not a REAL bartender. He takes care of the locals at the expense of ignoring the out of town customers. Sat with an empty glass at the bar for over 10 minutes while Dave talked sports with locals, refreshing their beverages. Asked for the check from the Manager (not Dave as he never approached me). She was surprised when I mentioned my over 10 minute wait for another beer and that I was going somewhere else to eat. I went somewhere else (Logan's) where they appreciate ALL customers. Spent 4.77 for a beer and left 0 tip, but I don't think he will get the message. read more

Three strikes in one night! My family and I used to eat at TR 3-4 times a month and just this past Christmas we purchased 200.00+ in gift cards for family and friends earning us a "Roadie" card. So-we are (nope sorry that should read WERE) loyal customers. Tonight we tried the rib appetizer. The ribs were horribly burnt. When we cut the ribs into a section for each person at the table, we noticed that the meat looked green and red. I was deemed to be the taste tester....LOL. Needless to say I couldn't get the first bite down. The meat tasted old like it may have been from the night before. No problem...We mentioned it to the waitress and was told that another appetizer would be coming out. While starting our salads, we watched another server bring a plate of ribs to the table behind us. The party told the server it wasn't their order and she took it back ....Only to return and place the SAME plate on our table. Then another server brought out our entrees (Please keep in mind that we have only eaten about three forkfuls of our salads). I immediately noticed the charred black "sautéed mushrooms" and I asked the server if this is how their mushrooms looked. He never answered (strange -Doesn't management train these servers???) and my daughter asked for A-1 sauce for her steak. Approximately 14 minutes went by until our original waitress stopped back. I asked her to send out the manager that brought out the ribs. And we asked about the A-1. She did return with a bottle of A-1. The 40 something female manager came to our table. I showed her the mushrooms and explained that we had asked the server that brought them out to our table if this is the way TR mushrooms are. She said they looked a little dark at which point I asked her to eat one. Of course she refused. We said - "Why then would you expect us to eat them?" She raised her voice and started to make a scene. I asked her for her name. She turned away and said, "My name is on my shirt." So very unprofessional! Our original waitress came back to say that we didn't have to pay for our meal. As we left, I spoke with the general manager-Steven Youels and I expressed my concerns about the service and food. I asked him to buy back his "Roadie" card as the experience was so bad that we would not want to ever come back. He would not and upon seeing all the reviews here---I believe that corporate should evaluate the store for its food and lack of training for employees. There are just too many other places to go to for dinner than to ever go back to TR. You lost more customers! read more

Been here many times, usually good service and great food. Not this time though. Terrible service today. Waitress was to busy talking to attend to anyone who wasn't at the bar. Took 15 minutes to get something to drink. About 20 minutes before our order was taken. Then another 30 for our food to arrive. We did manage to get one refill on our drink before we left. We waited for to get our plates and waited even longer for our checks. By this time I was looking for the manager. Never seen anyone to talk too. The quality of the food also seems to be slipping. Steak was almost half fat and sweet potato just tasted tasted weird. I was still hungry and while finishing the rolls had a French fry from my husbands plate. It's was terrible, maybe the grease? For quality of items and overall value, Texas Roadhouse stacks up higher than the other sub-par places (like Outback, ugh). You cannot go wrong with the classic steak dinner or the barbecue chicken. I wasn't sure about trying another Texas Roadhouse after a bad experience at one close to home not too long ago. But thanks to the positive reviews here, I decided to give it a try. So glad I did. A big shout out to all the yelpers who posted reviews here. The wait was 30 minutes on a Sunday night before New Year's Eve. The waitress was a bit different, in that she didn't write down our orders but said she would get them right when she turned them in. Yes, the steaks were perfectly cooked. My wife had the 12 ounce sirlion and I had the 20 ounce bone-in ribeye, both medium well, and they were spot on. I enjoyed a Sam Adams Boston Lager with my meal and it was de-lic-ous ! A very reliable Texas Roadhouse. I've made it a point to visit all local and regional Texas Roadhouses and this location ranks in the top 5. Service is always speedy, I never wait to be seated for longer than 20 minutes even during peak hours, the food is always delicious, the drinks are surprisingly good and the snake pit well that's just the icing on the cake. The first four times I came to this TR I ordered the Rattle Snake Bites, Fried Pickles and Cactus Blossom for apps and the Road Kill, the George W Bush Burger and the 34 oz Texas Poterhouse Ribeye Sirloin Strip Stack. My mouth is watering just talking about it! I ordered it Red Style and boy let me tell you, this TR does NOT play around with their Red Style. They must've dumped three bottles of Fancy Ketchup on that Steak Stack! Loved it. So much ketchup. You can buy steak juice infused ketchup ravioli poppers in their gift shop too, so good. Get an onion ring on it! Big drinks and bigger kids seats. Love the whole adult baby theme after 10, really weird and unexpected but once you realize everyone's just having fun it's really nice and relaxing! I love this place. Always a great experience! Our server Tiffany was excellent! She was prompt, friendly and paid attention to detail. Our drinks arrived less than 2 minutes after she took the order and the appetizers in less than 10 minutes later. Every order was served as ordered and the food itself was absolutely delicious. Tiffany followed up through out the meal asking if anyone needed anything else and made sure all drinks were topped off through our entire dinner. This place is not worth the money or dining experience. The place is super loud! The steaks are very fatty and overcooked. The fact that food sits in the front entrance when people walk by is super unsanitary. I was disappointed in the place service, food and atmosphere not worth it! My first visit to Texas Roadhouse is likely to be my last. I ordered takeout and it wasn't good. Burger was not cooked long enough and fries were all soaked in juice from a pickle that was placed in the container, despite the fact that I specifically requested no pickle. The $2 coke was the size of a kids drink at other restaurants. And they didn't put any silverware or napkins in with the food. I have been to this restaurant many times, in many different states. Tonight we visited the one in Fort Wright Kentucky, and was pleasantly surprised. Upon arrival I noticed there were very few open parking spaces which meant a long line. Sure enough as we entered it was very packed, but we managed to find a couple of seats at the bar and would eat there. I just wish to give my kudos to the team of people working at the bar because they were tremendous especially given how crowded the restaurant was that night. Their names were Alex, Jenn, Ashton and Brianna. When I'm sitting at the bar, I can watch these people work their butts off and given how crowded it was these folks were working extra hard and never missed a beat. They continued to anticipate our needs, always making sure that our drinks were full, that we got our salad practically seconds after we had requested it, and various other means of keeping us happy. They were also great in terms of their appearance and their attitude. Great job everyone at Texas Roadhouse. Our food was delicious as well. read more

Although this Yelp page lists this location as "Good For Groups: YES" it most definitely IS NOT GOOD FOR GROUPS. Service was horrible and ruined our birthday occasion. We were only asking for accommodations for 6 and we followed the advice we were given to "phone ahead." Also, stay away from the NY Strip, it's like bubblegum. read more

Just visited the Roadhouse. Great tater skins, good drinks. The service was terible. My wife and I were ready for a great evening. We ordered and everyone around us got served and some were leaving, we still did not receive our food. I got up and was going to walk out, the only thing the manager was worried about was paying for the drinks. If my wife was not there I would have left. I paid , I wonder what is the cost of ruining a persons evening. Maybe I should have charged her. Anyway it is not about the money.I sure hope they do not go down like all the other restraunts do. After being shown to our table I picked my napkin up off my small plate, and there was a centipede still crawling on the plate. A waiter walking by immediately took the plate, and bug, and apologized. While we were trying to decide to leave or not a manager came to our table and profusely apologized and promised to let the "higher up" manager know and they'd do "something" for us. She also said she'd come back and check on us. Never saw her again or the "higher up" manager and no discount on our bill. We won't be going back to this Texas Roadhouse again. Absolutely disappointing. I will never go again. Ordered Sirloin & BBQ Chicken, and Shrimp & Chicken. The shrimp was okay. The chicken was tough and the sirloin which I ordered medium-rare was thoroughly overcooked, tough and covered with a liquid smoke flavored sauce. Food at other locations of this chain has been fairly good but this night at this location was pretty bad. The service was acceptable but the staff started cleaning nearby tables with bleach while we were still eating at 9pm. read more

The restaurant I deliver for and TR usually have a very good relationship; however, this past time TR ordered, they ordered twelve of our largest pizzas for delivery costing around $365 (with a discount), and the manager DIDN'T tip me. It took me 4 trips to carry in the entire order, trying to make my way around all of their guests, and they handed me exact change. The manager on duty was angry we didn't want to trade food with them, even though they still got a 20% discount. Working in the food industry themselves, you would think they would have had the decency to tip THEIR server, me, but they did not. I was extremely baffled by the entire thing, and if I ever get an order from TR again, you better believe I will not be the one bringing it to them. I also won't be eating there again and neither will any of my friends or family for that matter. If you cannot tip me for my hard work, why should I give your company or servers my hard earned cash? read more

We love Texas Roadhouse and frequent it on a regular basis near our home in Illinois. For my husbands birthday we decided to go to Texas Roadhouse in Hamilton Ohio when we were in Ohio for our kids' Showchoir event in Fairfield Ohio. The service was excellent (which is one reason we love our roadhouse). The hearty cut sirloin was out of this world! We order the same cut, cooked the same way, with the same sides every time. This particular visit our steaks practically melted in our mouths. They were so tender the could nearly be cut with a fork. Keep up the great job! The food was really good by the service was terrible. Brea was very rude and snooty. My recommendation for her is to find a new line of work because it was clear you were not happy at work. Me and my husband just had a great dinner and excellent service. David Miller was our server and this was the first time we had him at our table. He was very pleasant and very attentive to us. food was great. we had the cheese fries, chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, corn, applesauce, green beans, and steak. service was terrible. we arrived at 523 pm and had a 55 minute wait, despite there being seven open tables just on my way to the restroom. our waitress seemed rushed, so she continued to forget things we asked for. she was also unfriendly. Most of the time when I go to Texas Roadhouse I get the prime rib it is always good but you can't get it every night we went on a Tuesday a night they don't have it because we were celebrating my son just getting home from being gone for a year. I decided to get the porterhouse steak medium after two tries the still could not get it right, was well the first time and rare the second time. will go back for the prime rib but will never get the porter house again. read more

The waiter was very friendly. It was the other staff that need some help. The cook and the manager. Our family (4 of us) went there for supper and ordered steaks medium we'll. 3 of the 4 steaks we got were just short of rare. We asked to have them cooked a little longer and got back a couple of bacon bits. Way overboard! By the time we got them back everyone was finished, and the manager didn't even have the courtesy to come over and talk to is about it. I think we got $1 off, and paid $100 for 2 meals that we just put in a go box and fed to the dog when we got home. My husband & I went for the 8oz sirloin & Shrimp combo....It was mouthwatering Amazing & Perfectly cooked Medium!! Loved the Steak Fries& veggies we ordered for our sides.
