We probably will not be ordering take-out from the Roadhouse again. We ordered Prime Rib and a 23oz. Rib Eye. The Prime Rib was an end piece and very burned. There was edible meat on one side but other side was not acceptable. The Rib Eye was over cooked and tough. We ordered it medium rare and there was no hint of pink anywhere! Went there 7/28/24 at 5:22 pm. Super over-crowed. About 20 people waiting outside and about 25 inside just standing there waiting to be called. Very limited seating in the lobby or outside. Was on a 30 minute wait for a table and they never texted us that our table was ready. I had to keep going inside to remind them we were still waiting. They told me that they can't seat partial groups but I told them my medically fragile 65 year old husband has been standing outside against a wall for 40 minutes and could the 3 of us who were there be seated? They refused. The rest of the our party arrived at 6:10 pm and then they stated they could not seat us because no table was ready. The people eating at the table had not left as planned or paid yet. So we personally waited for a table for 50 minutes. (Outside.) One booth seats 1 to 6 people so I do not get why they could not seat us 3 in the booth when we arrived? I guess this place of business really wants one of there "customers" to drop dead outside because of heat exhaustion? When I again asked about this wait policy, three staff members screamed at me at the same time "We have a sign saying this!!!!" They were actually standing in front of the sign which explained no seating until all the party was there. And with 25 people in the small lobby waiting area, there was no way the sign was visible. Our waiter was great but the food for our party of six came out at different times or half way through the meal. About 30 minutes into the meal, all the staff left their wait positions to perform a 5 minute dance routine in the aisle to "Foot Loose." The place was already at 100% seating and they need to dance in the aisle? Crazy. Because of all the customers there, I consider this place to be a fire-hazard because of packing so many people in the building with clogged exits. God help the customers get out if there was a fire. Don't get me wrong, I love this Texas Roadhouse location! Our meals are consistently good. Only once has a meal been less than the expected excellent quality. I reluctantly gave only 3 stars today because this was our first dine in experience there since Covid. I was stunned to see only one server or employee wearing a mask! The reason I find this so surprising is because Roadhouse founder and CEO committed suicide on March 22 of 2021 because of symptoms of tinnitus due to the effects of "long hauler" Covid 19! I couldn't believe it! I would have thought the chain would be more aware of the potential danger of this disease! I will probably go back at some point because as I have stated earlier, I do really like the food, but my personal level of comfort in such a crowded place, is lacking. read more

I was not thrilled to be going here because I've been to the one in my home town a couple of times and I've never been a fan. But I was out voted. We went the day after Christmas and they were busy. We were greeted by a very friendly gal who gave us an estimate on our wait and a buzzer. We grabbed a drink at the bar and relaxed. When they took us to our table they had bread in hand. They were so friendly and welcoming. I'm not a huge steak fan so I just ordered the chicken strips and fries and the chicken was so juicy and delicious some of the best I've ever had. The entire staff was incredible. So upbeat, courteous, and friendly, I had to let the manager on duty know how amazing they were and how they changed my mind about Texas Roadhouse. 19/4 read more

Awesome food! Horrible service! I'm from Texas, so it goes without saying I've been a huge roadhouse fan for years!!! Love "Willie's" corner. This location is NOT prepared OR capable of conducting take out service. My $90 dollar order was over half an hour past the online scheduled pick up time and each meal was NOT prepared as ordered. This location is damaging the entire image of the Texas Roadhouse. We're far enough along in this pandemic to not be this lost or prepared. Not enough people working, no care at all for preparing quality food or being on time. Seriously, managers need more training and employees need to actually care about the customers. I'm pretty sure there's a Longhorn Steakhouse or Salt Grass around here to take my business to in the future. Sad and embarrassing day for the Texas Roadhouse. read more

Don't usually try big chains but stopped in last week and the ribs were good and rolls were even better then I remembered. I think my server could have been more attentive but I think she seemed overwhelmed by her tables , not sure. But the food was great and I liked the vibe of the place. Visited here for the first time. We didn't know what to expect and I have to say we were very pleasantly surprised!! We were seated within 10 minutes which was a bonus. I ordered the 6 oz. filet and shrimp. It came with two sides so I chose baked sweet potato and applesauce. Besides the applesauce just being the stuff out of a jar and not homemade, everything else was great. Steak was cooked perfectly. Had great flavor. Very tender. We have tried different TR around US and we very much felt welcome here at the Gilbert Rd branch TR, from the friendly hostesses to our attentive food server Scott and to top it all they serve an awesome Fort Worth Rib Eye, a little on the medium rare side just how we like it and so juicy and tasty on the inside. Our steak were accompanied by their house salad with our choice of dressing and baked potato, and loads of their freshly baked, hot from the oven bread along with their cinnamon butter on the side, such a good finally on a busy work week and giving us to an awesome weekend start. read more

Outside patio was very dirty before being seated. Waited over an hour just for them to seat us when the tables, floor and chairs were not even wiped down or cleaned properly. First, I will start by saying that our waitress, Lily, was lovely and was the only redeeming quality about this restaurant. The rest was awful. When we were brought to our table the check from the previous diners was still on the table and there was food all over our chairs. I asked if the table was cleaned before we got there. The hostess said, "yes they bussed the table." But it was clear it was not cleaned well if at all. I asked for them to clean it again and no one ever came to do it. We ended up using hand sanitizer and our napkins to clean the table ourselves. We were seated outside even though we asked to be seated inside. It was hot and the sun was down far enough that anyone sitting on the one side of the table had the sun directly into their eyes. There was no shade. I asked if they could turn on the fans, and they said they would. One fan turned twice and then stopped, the other would not turn on. No one said any apology or offered to move us inside even when I said it was uncomfortable. The food was fine. Lily was sweet. While eating we saw three other tables bussed and noticed that they don't clean the tables. They wipe them with a dry rag that the busser had in his belt loop, and they only swipe the table once one direction and then the other. They definitely did not touch the entire surface of the table. Chairs were never touched. The bussers flipped the rag back and forth in a playful way making little bits of food fly off towards us. Just before we were leaving, the bussers were moving tables and chairs together for a larger party and they kept dragging the chairs very loudly. It was irritating and we couldn't hear each other talking. I would understand if this lasted a minute or two but it was ten minutes of noise and they weren't even done when we left. One of the employees was actually lifting the chairs and placing them nicely, and I appreciated that. It looked like he even said something to the others and they didn't care. They were joking around about it back and forth. All in all, not a fun dining experience. We felt like the customer service was lacking quite a bit (except for Lily) and the employees were rude and disrespectful of their patrons. Probably won't come back. We hope Lily finds a better place to work that better suits her. read more

The service here was just so delightful, we came in an hour before closing and felt bad doing so but the staff made it completely comfortable and my husband and I felt at ease eating late at night. I wasn't able to grab the nice lady at the front who seated us she made a personable impression when seating us. She was so kinda and felt like she was inviting us. Scott our waiter there shown excellent service all while maintaining the bar area, talk about multi-tasker. Our food was cooked deliciously and beautiful temperatures. My family of 3 went for dinner last night after 8 pm. We didn't have much expectations but were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful service and food at this late hour. First, our server was very friendly and caring. She came by to check on us multiple times and we were never lacking in refills on our drinks. Our bucket of peanuts on the table was filled over the top when we sat down and we were served their complimentary dinner rolls immediately. Their complimentary dinner rolls came hot and they were big and tasty. We ordered a full rack of ribs with green beans and baked potato, pulled pork with green beans and mashed potato, and a 10 oz NY strip steak with green beans and baked potato. Our meat were all cooked perfectly tender, especially my 10 oz steak, and they were also well seasoned and not overly salty. To our surprise, all of our side green beans were not mushy and still green with crispy bacon bits. Most green beans we get elsewhere are overcooked, mushy and yellowish green in color but this was not. About the only negative thing is the overly loud music. Toning it down a little would have made it perfect. But all in all, we had a wonderful dinner! Thank you. read more

We started eating before we were at our table. We helped ourselves to the roasted peanuts that seem to be everywhere in this restaurant. The peanuts are roasted just right and have just enough saltiness. When we were seated we were brought some hot rolls fresh out of the oven. They were so hot and fresh that we could barely pick them up. They were served with room temperature butter - perfect for spreading - that had been mixed with a touch of cinnamon-sugar and I enjoyed 2 of these rolls. I next got a salad as one of my side dish choices. I chose a Caesar salad. They put out a rather nice Caesar salad. I found the dressing to be flavorful but not overwhelming with fishiness as some Caesar dressing can be. I ordered a Blue Moon ale which they have on tap. It is a nice, full bodied lager which I found quite satisfying. The main course arrived and I enjoyed my second side item, baked beans. They were somewhat heavy on BBQ sauce but made with hearty beans and plenty of chunks of flavorful pork. Oh, they also brought out a slab of ribs, about 16 bones. I ate one. It was tender and delicious. I'll eat the rest of the ribs tomorrow. read more

They do not handle large parties well. We came to celebrate birthdays on a Sunday. We called ahead and were told to be there at 5:15. We didn't get seated till almost 45 minutes after that. They gave us 1 basket of rolls for 15 people and we had to go get more ourselves. Had to practically beg for a high chair. Took over an hour to get our orders taken and brought out to us. Literally every steak on the table was over cooked. The kids burgers were over cooked and hard. Definitely not impressed. This place used to be good, won't be going back again. read more

The location is the absolute worst! It is run by a bunch of very, unprofessional kids! First, we were quoted a 25 mins wait, max. We waited almost an hour to be seated. Then, when seated, we waited another 30+ minutes and were not seen by a server. Three other couples were sat and serviced 10-15 minutes after we were sat. When we asked service from another waiter, he said it wasn't his area. But yet he was willing to help out another couple who was in our area! We went to talk to the manager and explained the situation. Instead of coming up with a solution, she says, "Well sorry it happened, have a good night." No service, no food, no service. They try, but just can't keep it all together. Went here on Father's Day, busy of course, no pepper on the table, had to ask three times to get some. Really? Ordered the fillet, it was burnt to a crisp, second one came out okay. Tried again last Friday. Pepper on the table! Yay! Had the fillet again. Raw this time, still raw second time, manager brought out the third time. Finally! Nothing offered for the inconvenience (why would you expect a STEAKHOUSE to properly cook a steak?) Came here on a Sunday. We were sat right away by a pleasant hostess. Our waitress came by promptly, and our drinks were ordered. The food came out at the right time. Not too long or too short. I like to compare places based on their filet mignon. This one I ordered medium well. I allowed them to fan it out so it would be cooked properly. They cooked it perfectly and it was great. Fries tasted good as well. Corn was ok. Other person liked their shrimp and no complaints about the food. We all actually loved our food! The bread rolls were great as usual. As for the margarita at our table, person stated it was the best one in a long time. Overall, we had no complaints & had an excellent time. The one issue if I had to pick one out was that there are no paper towels in the bathroom, only blow dryers. read more

We waited on the waitlist outside for us to get called in. When we received our text that our table was ready, we walked in. There was a couple who walked in right before us and had no been on the waitlist to begin with. The hostess then gave them our slot at the front of the line and we were once again waiting. Might I say we are NOT white. When trying to confront the girl, she ran to the back and let someone else cover for her. Eventually she was the one who had to seat us and she threw our cinnamon butter on top of our rolls and did not say a word to us! Once received our waiter, she gave us similar treatment. Not wanting to wait on us, nor fix our issues with our food, and treating us like we were a burden on their restaurant. We are common goers to Texas Roadhouse, just not this location. Never again will I come to this roadhouse after being treated with such racism! read more
