We love Texas Roadhouse. I always order a steak (sirloin or New York) and it has NEVER been bad. Always cooked well. I'm leaving a review today because our server, Hannah, was so great! Super attentive, checked on us often, and made sure we had everything we needed. She made us feel seen and valued. Nice to talk to too! We have a 16 month old and Hannah was so sweet to her. While we try and make sure she doesn't make too big of a mess, there will always be something that falls on the floor. They are very family friendly at Texas Roadhouse. read more

I always order their country fried chicken and chili here. I also love their rolls so I usually place an order to go via their app whenever I get a craving for them. It's so easy and quick. They email you details of your order and the time the food will be ready for pick up. They also text you when the order is ready to be picked up. My experience has always been seamless and service has always been great. I absolutely love their slightly sweet rolls. They're light and airy and the cinnamon butter is a perfect complement. You get 4 of them with an entree. As usual, I ordered the country fried chicken with extra cream gravy. I have noticed recently the size of the chicken is much smaller but I guess it's to be expected with inflation. For the price they charge it's still a great deal. For the sides I got their chili as It's well flavored with no beans. I also ordered 2 extra sides of chili for only $2. It was a lot of food! Every time I go to pick up my order, the parking lot is very full and there's a constant stream of customers going in and out so I don't really understand the 3.2 rating. Decided to stop by for an early dinner. They actually have a great lunchtime/early dinner menu as well. I think it's like $13.99. Although we didn't do this Menu, I looked at it and thought it was a pretty good Value Menu. My husband ended up having herb crusted chicken. Husband said it was good, although he did mention, he felt the chicken was "compressed" whatever that means.LOL One of my favorite things to have here besides the ribeye is the catfish. Rarely do you find catfish cooked the proper way if you're from the Midwest. It had a nice cornmeal batter and then you get the rolls with the excellent honey cinnamon butter and a wide variety of (two) sides to choose from . You just can't go wrong. I have to say we had a 5 star experience this time. I didn't quite like the table we sat at as those metal back chairs kill my back and the seats are so hard my butt hurt by the time we left. My steak (ribeye) was cooked to perfection, even though I couldn't eat the whole thing. Maybe next time I'll skip the onion blossom or bread. Hubby & I met my friend for dinner here tonight. I put us on the waiting list. We were seated right away. Our server came to the table right away. Everyone was friendly. My friend ordered an iced tea. Hubby ordered his favorite beer. I ordered a sangria. My sangria was not good. i just drank it. My next was the Texas peach fuzz. It wasn't good either. My fri ordered the ribs with a loaded sweet potato & salad with ranch dressing. She said all her food was good. Hubby ordered his usual. The Dallas, which is filet minion medium with baked potato, butter & sour cream & salad with ranch. He added mushrooms & onions. He said the steak didn't have the sear & didn't have seasoning. It wasn't over cooked. He questioned that it was filet. He said it was edible, but not good. I ordered the country fried steak with brow gravy on the side with mashed potatoes & brown gravy & salad with ranch. My salad had many wilted lettuce pieces. The breading fell off the country fried steak. Most of my steak was not edible. The mashed potatoes had pieces that weren't cooked through. Most of the food was not good. The drinks weren't good. We come here quite a bit and most times it's great! Even today all but one of our dishes was great! We sent a chicken dish back that was not fully cooked and the manager brought back the same piece of chicken just cooked a little more! Unreal!!!! But I recommend a different gravy. The side Caesar salad was yummy. Son loved his ribeye. Loaded baked potatoes could have been more loaded for the up charge, but still good. Love that they have peanuts in the shell while you wait. And the rolls with honey butter - really a treat. Prices were reasonable. Service was GREAT. Parking is ample. I've eaten at this restaurant a handful of times, we decided to do takeout last night and overall the food was very good! The only downside was I found a hair in my food, which was disappointing. Mistakes happen, but it did take away from an otherwise great meal. BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST TEXAS ROADHOUSE IN AZ! My fiancé & I decided to stop by after the gym ( even though we probably shouldn't have lol ) we got sat immediately after arriving! The server stopped by and took our drink order & later on offered us appetizers, she was super knowledgeable of the menu. We got our appetizers and right she took our order both our steaks were cooked to perfection!! The ambiance was fun and loud there were a lot of birthdays around us but it was still nice. Glad I stopped in for lunch today. I haven't been here in a while and I was craving steakhouse food! My friend and I started with the rattlesnake bites. They were hot and gooey, served with a side of ranch. Yummm!! We shared the combination meal, ribeye with 12oz ribs, served with two sides (loaded mashed potatoes and fresh veggies). My friends ribeye was cooked well at medium temp., however, very bland, needed more seasoning. Nothing worse then having to season your steak post cook. We all were so excited to go out to Texas Roadhouse since it reminds us of Utah (we used to live there and visit TR a lot). As expected there was a 45 minute wait, which luckily we found a seat. We then were seated at our table with NO bread. Our server Ray came to greet us and we could tell right away he's a great server. We placed our order, 3 kids meals, 2 Dilo bites (steak) and chicken nuggets. I ordered chili and a side salad, my husband ordered a Rib-eye steak and ribs. Our food took longer than normal to get there which wasn't a surprise because it was busy. When the food arrived it was pretty cold. Kids were so hungry at that point, they just ate it as is. My favorite steak in general is ribeye, but the ribeye they serve here is RIDDLED with fat, and they call that "marbled!" I have grilled scores of ribeyes that I bought at Fry's and none of them were as fatty as the ribeyes I got at Texas Roadhouse. There are things to like and things to dislike about Texas Roadhouse and I think it might be a corporate thing more than just this location... Things to like: The staff and manager are extremely courteaous and friiendly. If there is something you need or want, just ask. If there is a problem and it it isn't addressed, you probably didn't ask. My steak was cooke perfectly but the rest of it, the taste of the food is average. Nothing to stand out in either way. It is the staff however that saved this restaurant from 1 or 2 stars. What isn't to like? 1) Pricing policies. When you order a $35 ribeye dinner, and the server politely asks if you would like mushrooms and onions with your steak, or, your mashed potatoes with gravel or loaded as an option, and you accept the offer, you are not expecting an up-charge of $2.49 for the steak and $1.49 up-charge for the potato. Maybe it is on the menu or not but the server should inform you when they offer it. 2) rice and mashed potatoes served in a small cup that you might expect to get about a cup of soup in. Really? Plate it on a 2nd plate if you have to. In the bowl, you don't realize how little you are being served. And for those mashed potatoes in a small size cup, not the regular sized cups. And, there was as much sour cream as there was mashed potatoes; it was pathetic. Not complaining and asking the server to replace it or not calling the manager was my fault. I just know better and as much as I like the people there, it will certainly affect my decision to return to any Texas Roadhouse or what I order there. To me, that was worse than the up-charge. Magnus and Austin are my HEROS!! I have yet to have had a bad experience with these 2!! The prime rib is with my sweet potatoe with marshmallows and the sweet butter topping...mouth drooling!! This was my first visit to a Texas Roadhouse so I had no expectations. I arrived about 3pm and it was packed with many waiting to be seated. I thought this was good sign. Staff was very courteous and accommodating. Rather than wait for a table, I decided to do bar seating. Good choice as there were NO children! Wish the seating was more comfortable. First of all, much too noisy and manic for me although I can see why others would thrive in the active atmosphere. Secondly, the only portion of the food I ordered that was good was the house salad. The 1/2 rack of ribs was very dry and tough to chew. I only ate one. The loaded baked potato was so salty, I could barely choke down 1/4 of it. The rolls and honey butter were very good! The manager offered to get me something else but I was already at the end of my tolerance level for noise so I declined. First steak came out medium well I ordered it medium rare. The bartender immediately took it back. The manager brought me out another steak in 3 to 4 minutes but it wasn't a ribeye. It was a sirloin. I showed the bartender he agreed with me and they made me another ribeye and he told me that he was sorry and don't worry about it that they would take care of the Bill. they finally brought me another steak this time it was rare but I didn't say anything. When I asked for my bill, the manager came out of the back and handed it to the bartender and it was full price. Then I asked the bartender if this was right, he said no he contacted a manager and they came up to me with a wrinkled up Bill and handed to the bartender. Tania is the best. We usually frequent the Stapley location when we are in town but my family & were in Chandler a few weeks ago & stopped at this location for the first time. We got seated fairly quickly in a booth. We got assigned Tania as our server & she was the absolute best server we have had in any restaurant for a while. She was very friendly & attentive to my wife, my 3 kids & I. She was so sweet with my 3 young kids. Truly disappointed! Stopped in to celebrate my daughters birthday and graduation. The service was terrible and so was the food. However, I don't complain in restaurants so we all endured it. However, the catfish was severely small!! The ribs were burnt. Our loaded mashed potatoes came out plain. We were then given COLD butter, cheese and bacon. There was never an ask to take them back and correct them. Just given cold sides to put in cold mashed potatoes. My mom was over it and asked for fries. The fries the waitress brought were old and burnt. Again, my mom was over it and didn't eat them. And we were still charged for loaded mashed potatoes. A good faith gesture would've been to take them off since they were wrong. My daughters fries that came with her meal was just a handful and burnt. She didn't eat them either. The salad had a bunch of water in it where we drained it on a napkin. The waitress barely checked on the table outside of bringing an overwhelming amount of water refills. Not to mention, she brought my dads mashed potatoes out way before everyone else's meal so he was done and just sitting there while we all ate. $150 later for a meal and experience that wasn't worth it! This experience was terrible and I'll never, ever, go back to this location.
