Prepare to wait for a significant amount of time unless you're going to the bar. There is no indoor seating at all for the waiting area and my grandmother was very uncomfortable. They have heat lamps for when it's cool outside but I suggest some type of shades to cover the area when it's warm. The sun sets hitting directly on the outside waiting area. The staff was really kind and our food didn't take long to come at all. My grandmothers steak was cooked just slightly above her request but she ate most of it. The blooming onion was so good! Better than that other place I won't mention. My mom's catfish was seasoned and hot. She was so pleased. And I love the critters and house salad. All together, this wasn't a horrible experience. Just see some things that can be improved. I'd definitely come back. I mean, who can resist those rolls?!

Great Food and service! I want to give 4.5 stars. The only reason it isn't a 5 is they were short a cook and it took a while for the dood to come out. Luckily the rolls came out fast and there are peanuts on the table (now in bags). Once it came the food was terrific. My steak was a perfect tender medium well. Spouses burger same. Kid had the Chicken Critters (batter dipped chicken tenders) and Sweet potato for her side and some veggies. My steak sides were skin on real mashed potatoes and green beans with bacon. YUM! No room for deserts. PRO TIP: Get the app. Then use the "Join the waitlist" and save the long wait time. It will let you know how long and give the option to cancel. Didn't check in? Keep reading. SOLDIER & Time Constraint TIP: If you didn't get on the waitlist via the app, head for the bar. You may be able to sit immediately. Allergic to Peanut? NOT for you, sorry. Beverages: Sodas, Lemonade, etc and full bar. Restrooms: Clean, but peanut shell crumbs... Kids Menu: Yes Pick up: Yes MyFitnessPal: Yes and the App has up to date Information (always good to verify)

Decent looking restaurant-pretty middle of the road. The food was very salty. Fried pickles were almost unbearably seasoned. Limited draft menu. Expensive for quality. Service was good. Not very clean. Lots of parking.

This was an okay steak place for me. The steak was good, not bad at all, and the service was really friendly and cute at that time. Personally, the cinnamon butter wasn't my favorite, but I enjoyed saving the sweet potato fries as a little dessert. Overall, a decent spot to try!

cactus blossom yummy, but I like the sauce from Outback Stealhouse's onion blossom better. not overpowering with the seasoning, which is a very pleasant surprise. macaroni and cheese was plain and not a stand-out like the menu made it sound to be. not worth the $5 for that small, little, tiny, baby bowl! waitress was nice. I thought that the mandatory hourly dance that they do is super duper cute, too. they did mess up my order a few times, so that is why it is not toooo high. I understand that I came in with 4 guests, but too have my order of a cactus blossom with a side of macaroni and cheese mistaken is... hm. just interesting. handled professionally, but again, no check-ups or updates during the quite long waiting process about where our food was at. I love the bright neon lights with the caricatures of Texan celebrities. so much Texan pride that I am glad that those from that state have a spot on base that could remind them of home. maybe having a highlighted line of the step leading up to the elevated tables would be helpful because so many guests tripping on their way up and hitting themselves on the heightened table :/ again, I enjoyed my time here, but some minor inconveniences that could be easily addressed.

I would say that the food was delicious especially with a good deal of including two sides. It definitely filled me all the way up until later in the day. The service was amazing with the waiter providing us fast service when we asked for rolls. The environment was pretty loud but a good setting given that it wasn't too busy.

We arrived at 5:35 pm on a Saturday, and we waited about 1 hour and 15 minutes for a table-- longer than expected. Food: I appreciate that you can pick your own steak before being seated. We ordered the Texas combo with two sides each. The famous cinnamon butter rolls were freshly baked, and I get why they're so popular--absolutely delicious! Customer Service: The servers were busy with table turnovers, but ours made sure we had everything we needed and checked in regularly. Overall: While the food was enjoyable, the long wait and it not being my usual style make me feel mixed about a return visit.

We sat at the bar. DH got a cold beer and I got white wine. Bartender was nice, but lacked a sense of urgency. We ordered a mushroom and cheese chicken sandwich with green beans and a sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. Apparently they had run out of cheese, but didn't tell me until they brought out my meal giving me no option to change if I wanted. Steak was cooked well. Mashed potatoes were good but the gravy was not good. We know not to get it next time. Even with three star review, it's a national chain restaurant so you know what you're in for. There are plenty of taxidermy mounts to look at all over the restaurant.

Visited here on 9/17/2025, it's always been a go to spot for us when we visit Washington. Like always the food was prepared excellent, our server was excellent, and the place is always clean. Thank you again Texas Roadhouse for being our go to.

Without a doubt this is one of Tacoma's best dining experiences. Chef Shawn's team is small but mighty. The staff that we encountered were all super kind and attentive. It's widely known that Chef Shawn has a radiant personality and treats everybody in his restaurant like a longtime friend. He walked around chatting with everybody personally, showed off dishes as he walked through the restaurant, and was even happy to let diners take a peek at his kitchen (how does he make all this magic happen on TWO CAMP STOVES?!) The menu isn't massive, but everything on the menu is executed with precision and grace. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted but I've had my eyes on the Lobster Bomb for years. My husband got the "Tiny Burrito" which is quite literally the size of a newborn. The Lobster Bomb was excellent. Generous chunks of succulent lobster and the hollandaise was perfect! Subtle on the lemon flavor as to not overpower, but still rich and creamy. I tried my husband's burrito and the chorizo gravy is stellar. You could easily share this with 1-2 other people in my opinion. It lasted my husband two leftover meals! The restaurant itself is small but it's cozy and feels like you're at home. No frills, nothing over the top, nothing trendy. Just a relaxed vibe with lots of authentic touches from Chef Shawn. While this was our first visit it definitely won't be our last. Don't make the mistake I did and let years pass by before you experience Tibbitts!

The food is my favorite part. I can have a beer anywhere, but the food is actually pretty on point minus the nachos, sad to say. The sandwiches are amazing, the quesadillas are amazing, have yet to make it there before breakfast ends but I'm betting it's probably pretty good. Staff are friendly, efficient, and do well on checking to make sure you're not waiting too long for service without being too bothersome. Clearly, I have to return to try everything else on the menu. The salad has fresh cut romaine lettuce. It is NOT a salad mix. The roasted tomato vinaigrette has a smoky flavor to it that was delicious. The dressing was tossed with the salad, not in the side. Another great decision. The portion was generous and I took half of it home. One friend had the stroganoff, which was rich, satisfying, and served in a solid portion. Another ordered the fish and chips with crispy batter, flaky fish, and a portion that felt fair for the price. We split the triple berry dessert to finish. Sweet without being over the top and perfect for sharing. The place was clean, well kept, and easy to get in and out of. Plenty of parking, which honestly matters.
