We always check the wait time before we go and get on the waitlist. We have never had a problem and enjoy going to this location. Server(wish I could remember his name) was so nice and very attentive. They have the best salads and croutons. Don't ever change the rolls! Can't say enough about them. Food is always good. My wife and I went for Valentines dinner and ordered filet steak dinners. Hers was tender like a filet should be. Mine was tough like a sirloin. Tasted good but was not a filet. In defense of our waiter he did check back after our food was delivered but I hadn't cut my steak so I didn't realize it wasn't tender like a filet should be. This review is based on our recent take out experience from Taxas Roadhouse. It was the first time we order take out. Our previous experience was dining in this location many many years ago. I placed the order online on the website. It was very easy to order but I would give the ordering experience only 3 stars or less. That's because the time when the food would be ready was shown after I had already placed the order the paid. I placed the order at around 4:45pm on Sunday. After completing the process, the confirmation screen said the food would be ready at 6! My husband was going to grab the food on his way home and actually made it there 10 min after I placed the order. Had we known ahead that the order will take that long to be ready, we would have ordered from somewhere else. He went to the pick up window and was told the food would be ready at 6 and basically that there was no way it could be ready earlier. He waited mostly in his car for that whole hour+. At around 6:05 he went again to the window (after checking half an hour earlier, just in case) and the food was finally getting packaged. We ordered a ribeye steak, medium, smothered, with steak fries and a house salad as well as salmon with a baked potato and a house salad. Both house salads were ordered without eggs and one without cheese. While it was easy to spot which one had cheese, the box with "no cheese" marked on it was actually the one with the cheese! Now despite all this, honestly the food was absolutely delicious! We devoured everything in minutes after my husband got home which is why they get a 4 star review at the end. I would have posted this review sooner but I just finished chewing!!! Night before last I took my father out to dinner. He picked Texas road house. He also decided for the mesa location. It was normal busy for that location. Our server was LUIS. He was nice but very absent. Really long wait (way more than normal week night) we got incomplete salads delivered to our table and wrong sides. At this point I still didn't care because if my steak is good I'm good. Well the steak came and it looked like something you would pull out from under your seat with a pile of fries on it that I didn't order. I said something to the not Luis but nothing. I know that if you order the really inexpensive steaks you can get this but!!! I ordered the $31 rib eye. It should take secs to chew a bite correct? No each bite was minutes of chewing before I gave up. It looked to be cooked correctly and the seasoning was good but I was looking forward to something with less chewing like JERKEY, it would have been a vast improvement. No one came to check on us and never saw waiter again from the beginning. Except helping others. Had to chase down some and ask multiple times can I just pay and leave. Will not return. Sad. On 11/15/2024 we came for a quick bite, it was amazing! Josh our server was truly remarkable! Incredibly attentive and made sure our food was amazing, which it was! Bread plates also always come out dirty and with shit on them. You wanna know what your server does before they give you a drink? They put their hands and fingers in your glass to pick out the debree from the dish pit. And then they use soda water to "wash" it before serving you that same glass. It's absolutely DISGUSTING. But the managers won't do a thing to change it or make things better. Just so you know. As a guest your dishes are fucking dirty:) enjoy. It was a busy place for 1 pm on Friday, stayed busy! Chopped steak done medium rare! Very good, baked potato was with a salted skin and was tender and good! This is the second time I've been here and went to the to go area and I was hoping to see the same cashier girl (Jaylah) I saw because she's SO Thorough and sweet! She was SO attentive i appreciate how she showed me everything I ordered and put it in a bag for me. I really loved how she didn't make me feel like I was being rushed and I'm such a ditz that I forget things and she would say "no worries!" Like she meant it! I have bad anxiety and I get frazzled really easily that's why I chose to go to the "to go" instead of inside because customer service isn't like it used to be anymore at other restaurants but I always feel at ease here and any other Texas Roadhouse but Jaylah made it extra comfortable for me to order! My wife and I Have been to many Texas Roadhouse locations. This was one of the best locations we have visited! We also visited with some friends from Europe who had never had an American steak; they said it was very, very good! My food was excellent! I had a full slab of ribs with mashed potatoes covered in white gravy and a Caesar side salad. It's refreshing to taste a salad at a restaurant that is cold, fresh, crunchy and flavorful. My ribs were absolutely delicious and lived up to the Texas Roadhouse "fall off the bone" standard. We also had our 4 month old infant son with us and the waitstaff were incredible in accommodating us and that really stood out! They also kept our glasses full at all times and were constantly stopping by to clear away dishes that weren't being used. Food: 5/5 Stars Service: 5/5 Stars Wow Factor: The Service! What an immaculate experience tonight at this Texas Roadhouse. The kindness, the hospitality, the friendship cultivated....I truly have felt reborn at this Texas Roadhouse. Our server Dylan was our favorite part of the night. (And week!) He was so kind and listened to all of our DJ jokes and gave us amazing constructive criticism on how to improve our jokes as well, which I always appreciate in not just a waiter, but a friend. You can really tell Dylan's character by the way he continually checked on us, tended to our every need, and truly gave us a little piece of home. If I needed a place to stay, I wholeheartedly believe that Dylan would offer me his couch in an instant. That's the kind of guy AND waiter he really is. We went here for my wife's birthday Oct 3rd! It was crowded, all seats full. The service was excellent! I had the pulled pork with loaded mashed potato and buttered corn! Loved it all but so much I had leftovers for days. My wife had a half rack of ribs with loaded mashed potatoes and corn and she loved it all! The drinks were delicious and we had a great time. Justin, my server was awesome!!! I went for lunch before I had to meet up with a Friend who doesn't eat gluten, eggs, peanuts, soy etc... (she should stay home and cook, right) Anyway, I knew I'd be hungry hanging out with her so, I decided to go alone, which felt odd as I only eat alone every once in a while when I want "me time". My steak could've been a little more rare( but not bloody )however, it was still yummy for my tummy My only complaint is, although, I was happily carded, my pina colada tasted alchohol free.... I am a social drinker which is random so, for me, 1 drink usually has me tipsy but, this one did absolutely nothing... it was like drinking a frosty with absolutely no taste. Server brought our rolls, with no silverware or plates. Finally brought out drinks 20 minutes later. 30 minutes later she took our order still no plates or silverware. Went yesterday for my daughters 18th birthday. We knew it would be busy so we got there about 10:30. They open at 11. People started gathering at the door so we went off to wait in the rain to get our spot in line. Even 2 min before opening they wouldn't open the door to get people in out of the rain. Anyhow, as we are being seated I mentioned to the young man that it was my daughters birthday. He said something about helping with the celebration. Never happened. The worst was my ordering the NY strip steak medium rare. Now I have had a lot of steaks served over my 53 years of living. This was the first time I had ever been served a raw steak. The server took it back to "recook" a steak that I had already cut in half to show it was raw. The manager brings back two cooked halves. Everyone else was done eating. Server brings the bill. We waited almost an hour for our 2 8oz steak with rib plates, first came out wrong, gave us shrimp instead of the ribs, forgot our side salad, the ribs were dry dark meat that was over cooked enough to fall off the bone, the sauce for the ribs were disgusting and not pleasant what so ever, other people who showed up after us got there food first, the waitress forgot about us for a good 20 minutes, and as we were leaving we noticed our side mirrors were pushed in (can not push without hard force) so along with waiting for over an hour and barely eating our food and leaving our car was messed with in the parking lot, ghetto, not friendly, not good food but you can get a good steak. Very unhappy with my experience at this Texas Roadhouse!! The first issue was my steak being undercooked and they forgot my side of ranch. I waited for our server, Nate, to check on us but he never did! So I had to notify another server of the issues. Another 10 minutes goes by and I still don't have my new steak.. By this time, my boyfriend is almost done eating his meal because we didn't want his food getting cold while waiting for mine. Finally after 15 minutes my new steak comes out. But guess what's still missing? The ranch that I've asked 2 separate employees for. Another 10 minutes goes by.. no one checking on us. At this point I am extremely frustrated that I dont have my ranch that I like to eat with my steak. Eventually, I speak with the manager who apologizes for the issues and then offers to get me a to-go box? Um... that's not going to fix anything. I had to ask him what he was going to do to fix this issue and explain how unhappy I was with the service here. Manager was very apologetic and did end up taking my meal off the bill (although I had to ask him to do that!) The cherry on top was when our server Nate finally showed up to the table after all of this went down and asked how everything was... he was clueless about everything that happened!! No one informed him of our issues, not even the manager!! I was completely shocked at how a server could be so uninformed and careless about their table! I arrived there on a Thursday around 4:30 pm, but it was already full of people sitting inside and even there 3 groups of people were waiting. At the gate, there was a very kind man to opened the gate for us, very kind service at the beginning of my experience. You should go to the host stand to register and give them your number so they can give you a text message when there is an available table for you. I waited only 10 minutes so the waiting time it's reasonable for me. The waitress led us to our table with the best bread. She greeted us along the way, I felt comfortable about that. Meanwhile, I sat at the table, and the server immediately came to greet us and take our drink order. The drink came super fast, even less than 5 minutes. That was very surprising, I thought we might need at least 10 minutes to wait. But also I believe the drink was prepared instead of made by order. The decoration is a style of bar, there were full of people, very crowded, with people of any age. so if you like someplace quiet, you may even feel noisy there. But I didn't care about that noise, because I was focusing on that super delicious bread. That's a super soft bread, with their exclusive cinnamon better, I have no words to say with my mouth full of it. Just enjoy it. No need for a single word. I went for their early dine menu with my friend, it was only 12,99. You even can order a 6 oz hand-cut sirloin steak with 2 side dishes. Even though the price was 9,99 before, for me it is still worth the price. We also ordered Cactus Blossom, it's crispy, and the onion is sweet, I think it's a very nice starter. But I recommend that at least 3 people share it, cause I feel a little bit oily after we had half of it. Meanwhile, we noticed they had packed peanuts that you can take as much as you want, we took one bag, and it showed salted peanuts but it is very tasty for us, not salty at all, it is a nice one with a beer. We finished our bread very quickly, and the server said he would bring us another, but it was not that fast like other orders, we waited a very long time until finally it arrived. I don't know if it is the business strategy or something, anyway, I can take it. We ordered the medium sirloin steak, which was cooked well for me, with their steak sauce, it is a nice one for me, and I will not complain because it also came with french fries and one mashed potato. Others may think it is too small but for me, it is quite enough. The server came to ask about the food or if we may need something else, I took a water and it came very fast as well, I am satisfied with their service. I was 110% full, maybe because I have a small stomach. I even could not move from the chair. With this reasonable price, good food taste and quality, and of course, the satisfied service, I definitely will be back, maybe more and more bread next time? There is a hint, you can buy their bread to go, it should be $5 per dozen. I am thinking of buying one dozen or maybe two? Never have had any complaints, always very consistent- which is unusual for a steakhouse in this price point . Service in the bar is always on point too... just wish they'd bring back the Key Lime Pie Margarita! All I heard was great reviews about the food....obviously those people have NO taste buds and LOW expectations (LOL) We order by 11:45am and our food did not arrive until 12:40!!
