This is a decent place to get a steak. The food is good and they have a variety of sides. The service is slow, so I recommend being patient. This has been consistent no matter if you go on a busy or slow day. I'd like to think it's because everything is being prepared fresh. The food is good. The prices are right and the managers and the waitresses are exceptional. They are wonderful and what they do and they really care about you and make you feel like you are a movie star thank you, Texas Roadhouse. My only complaint is that you can't rent out of section for a private party, I've been going there every since the first week they open, my husband is hooked on them. Pretty crowded on a Saturday night around 8:45 pm but got in pretty quickly. Got some warm bread rolls with sweet (apple?) Butter. The butter was great and the bread was soft. Ordered a 12 oz ribeye topped with mushrooms and onions + fries and a house salad. House salad had a good amount of eggs and cheese and was a bit heavier than a typical side salad, it was good. Ribeye was cooked a proper medium rare as requested, seasoned well, and very tender. The mushrooms and onions on top also enhanced the flavor profile. Fries were thick cut and pretty good. At $24, I was very impressed with the steak's flavor and the taste. Huge amount of food and was enough for another meal. To satisfy a steak craving, we visited Texas Roadhouse where we were seated immediately in a relatively empty restaurant for Saturday lunch. We were presented with complimentary bread, which they kindly replaced when we finished it. The steak was cooked perfectly to our craving and it was delicious! They didn't hold back on the dressing for the Caesar salad and I thought the mashed potatoes with gravy were a bit salty. The tables were sticky, but the menus conveniently live at the table with the condiments, allowing us to refer to it afterwards/throughout the meal. Was there for an early dinner for 4 of us & brought to our table immediately with a basket of 4 rolls & the cinnamon butter. As we each took a roll one was rock hard & couldn't even be cut with the steak knife. When the waiter came over he took our drink order & brought a fresh warm basket of rolls with both cinnamon & plain butter. He brought our drinks (the raspberry lemonade which was very good) & took our order. When our dinner was brought out 2 of the drinks were empty so we asked for refills. We never saw him again until our meals were almost finished & we asked again for refills. When he came back with drinks he saw we were finished eating and asked if we needed to go boxes. He brought the boxes & told us the check was on the little computer thing on the table. Never asked if we wanted dessert. Food was definitely 4 star but service was a 2!! The day before Father's Day & a party of nine, we called ahead for seating and we had to wait maybe 15 minutes and we were seated (the Teterboro location said they would have to split us up) the elderly & disabled. Our waiter, Eddy handled our group including disabled & elderly family members with such patience and accuracy. He listened, every order was correct & the food was delicious. It was a Friday night and they were very busy. Our waitress seem to take awhile when we needed to order or receive our drinks. We were in a hurry to eat since we were heading to the comedy show next door. My friend ordered sangria but it tasted like something had gone bad in it. My prime rib was rare and my friends steak was as well. She did send hers back for it to be fixed to medium. Again since we had to leave I ate what I got. When we asked for the checks at the end the waitress came and threw the book at the table and took off. Didn't ask if we enjoyed our meal or anything. I visited Texas Roadhouse with my family yesterday for lunch for the first time ever. I had the chicken critters with ribs, steak fries and rice. The food was pretty good, nothing out the usual than any other place to me personally even thought some places can get it wrong, the chicken critters (tenders) weren't over done. The best part of the bill was the buns (bread) that they give you, they were so good I had to request for a 2nd basket, straight out the oven too with honey butter. Our waitress Bri did an exceptional job taking our order, checking on us frequently and refilling our glass etc. Definitely will revisit sometime again sooner or later. read more

Sooooo.... this place was OK! The server I think was new? We didn't get our appetizer before our meal but he felt bad and discounted it from our bill. The food was hearty and I saved half to go. But I didn't like the blooming onion too much. The sauce wasn't very good. The bread is amazing, it's super soft and warm and the butter has a touch of cinnamon in it. The steak was made just right and my favorite was the shrimp, gosh they were so damn good!!! The drinks: I ordered the hurricane margarita with a patron kicker and it was good. It wasn't watered down and the patron added 4 notches to it lol. I don't like that they put sour cream on the loaded mashed potatoes. For a chain steak house it's pretty good. The servers were on top of things. They have a great variety in steaks - Barbecue- and much more. The enters come with a good selection of sides. The rolls are great and the peanuts on the table give you a munchie while surveying the menu. The Heineken drafts comes ice cold and in two sizes. The steaks came cooked to the temperature ordered. Only problems when the server was asked to split the check down the middle some how mine was $10 more- c'este la vie. We were with good friends. Now this is no reflection of our waitress Bria which was very nice and attentive. Also for the manager who immediately addressed our dislike of cactus bloom. I'm sorry But someone needs to teach the cook what the difference between medium well, medium and medium rare is . This was my first time coming here. I came on a Sunday around 4:30, it wasn't busy. We were seated immediately & given warm buttery bread with some type of cinnamon butter which was awesome. I ordered a drink called Jamaican cowboy which was really good, nice & strong! I had steak with sautéed onions & mushrooms, rice & broccoli which was perfect. Sad to say I did not have the greatest experience at this Texas Roadhouse. When we were first sat of course we had their famous rolls with cinnamon butter which were awesome but the second batch tasted old and were hard. Me and my partner both ordered bone in ribeye steaks medium rare and both steaks came out so rare that they looked just seared. Restaurant was busy and I understand things can easily be overlooked but when ordering the second most expensive steak on the menu I would expect extra care to be taken. For a "steakhouse" to mess up steak temperature is concerning. On a better note, our waitress Jessica was awesome and made our experience so much better. I have been to Texas Roadhouse in Pennsylvania and other parts of New Jersey. This is my first time rating a Texas Roadhouse and rating this location. When you first arrived you are greeted with warm sweet buns and butter and there is also a bucket of peanuts by your table. Course I cannot touch the peanuts because I'm allergic to nuts but I did try one of the rolls which was very good nice and warm and soft a little sweet just perfect. We were celebrating my mom's 85th birthday. Not really the best place for a birthday celebration but she wanted to come here so it was fine with me. My mom ordered the salmon with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. We ordered the porterhouse steak with mushrooms and onions loaded baked potato and corn with butter and I ordered a 12 oz ribeye steak with a caesar salad and green beans. My mother seemed to like her salmon and her mashed potatoes with gravy and her green beans she did not complain. Furthermore my corn was basically can corn, nothing fresh just can corn with melted butter. We got an order of green beans which would loaded with grease as I put a picture up. The steaks were tender and well-made we had odered our steaks medium well which is just perfect for me. A little pink in the inside but cook fairly decent. Steaks were good again greasy, there was a lot of grease on the steaks but they were good. The mushroom onions were delicious I believe even better than the steak. So all in all the steaks itself were decent. For dessert we ordered my mother the apple pie with ice cream and we shared a cheesecake with strawberries on it. The apple pie was just okay nothing spectacular nothing homemade it seemed like they had boarded out of a store box. The cheesecake with strawberries on top with just Bland. Your normal box cheesecake from a supermarket with a couple of strawberries on top. All in all it was okay nothing spectacular nothing great just ok and I came back home with a horrible stomach ache. I must say that my 12 ribeye steak for some reason seemed huge! To me it seems like she made a mistake and gave me the 16oz steak. Again was okay greasy steak at the end made me ill. read more
