Oh, Texas Roadhouse, what has happened to you? In the past, we could count on a ten out of ten star experience every time. Lately, not so much. The salads and potatoes were good, but the steak was sub par. Maybe the chain has cut back on the quality of meat they use due to inflation etc. We ordered a six oz and an eight oz fillet and neither tasted very good. The six oz didn't even resemble the fillet I selected. It looked like a sirloin, but the manager insisted that it was a fillet. Our waitress was unenthusiastic and a rare site tableside. We had to ask multiple times for drink and bread refills, and eventually someone else brought these items to us. To their credit, the manager did deduct the "sirloin masquerading as a filet" from the bill, but that's not the outcome I really want. I want a fantastic steak at a good price. Texas Roadhouse used to deliver that. I doubt that they can anymore. read more

Table across from me did not tip the same waitress when we arrived we did not know details and felt bad, when we sat nearly an hour we asked another waitress for assistance and after another ten minutes ignored we just walked out!!!! The only reason this place is even worthy of 2 stars is because of their out-of-this-world bread rolls with cinnamon butter that my friends and I shared 3 baskets of (and that I took a doggy bag home of) as well as our server Chris, who treated us very well. My entree though...meh. And I'll be the first to admit that when it comes to food, I'm easy to please. Both my sirloin and ribs were dry as can be. No amount of A1 or Texas Roadhouse original steak sauce could've saved my steak, and no amount of BBQ sauce could've saved my ribs. I'm disappointed considering they're categorized under "steakhouses" and "barbeque" on Yelp. Plus the ribs were advertised on their menu as "fall-off-the-bone ribs" which they certainly weren't. I can't even blame the specific steak cut I ordered because I've had small sirloins elsewhere that still tasted juicy. Only reason I'd really consider coming back to try other menu items is to get more free bread rolls honestly. In conclusion, you can find someplace WAY better if you're craving steak or ribs. read more

We haven't been to a Texas Roadhouse in years. My wife my son and I entered in a rainy Sunday afternoon. Ordered Sam Winters and wife had a Cabernet. Wife had a pulled pork platter, son had a ribeye and I had steak tips. Beers were fresh and ice cold, food was delicious and cooked perfectly as ordered. Service was attentive and friendly. Our waiter was Daniel and he was extremely attentive to all of his tables. He has a friendly personality and was very informative when we placed our orders. This location has been consistently great for years now. Employees are always friendly and always on top of things. The food here is very consistent. It may not be the best meal of your life but it certainly will never be the worst. If you decide to order steak you can choose your steak at the counter or just order off the menu. Drinks are well made and they always have some kind of special going on. The fresh rolls with cinnamon butter are delicious and they will bring you as many baskets as you like. Tuesday's are kids nights. Kids can get a kids meal for $1.99. They also have a decorate your ice cream bar for the kids as well as other activities. They offer different discount theme nights for other days too. If you're going at a peak time make sure you call ahead. This location is very popular and waits can easily exceed one hour. read more

Great family place for food and Texas size steaks and food portions. Service is great too, always busy and don't mind the 20 to 30 minute wait for a table. I love their steak's, they only use salt for seasoning unlike other retail places with they hide the true flavor by over seasoned meat. We always get the Dallas filet in medium and always a great piece and cuts through with out force like a hot knife under butter. The service was extremely attentive while the food came out in a timely matter. They were having a deal for 2 people. There was a choice of a cactus blossom or fried pickles, 2 8 oz. sirloins, four sides, endless bread and peanuts for $23.99. It seemed like a solid deal. The bread came out piping hot. They had a cinnamon honey butter that came with it. It was one of the better butters I tried. It melted right into that soft bread roll. We opted for the cactus blossom, which were golden fried onions served with Cajun horseradish sauce. These were good. They were fried well while the sauce being the key component here. These just get tiring after a while. I chose chili and vegetables as my sides. I also tried the corn. The chili was great. There was a hearty potion of meat while also having a slight kick. The shredded cheese and onions on top were a nice addition. The vegetables were alright while the corn was mushy and had too much butter. Regarding my steak, I asked for it to be medium rare. We give the food and service a perfect 10! We had the cactus Blossom, sirloin steak and country fried chicken. It comes with 2 sides which was the mash potatoes, corn, salad and baked potatoe.
