Never disappoints! Their ribs are my absolute favorite. The sides are awesome and served piping hot. On my last visit the ribs were a little overcooked and dry. Very disappointed in this place! My friend and I decided to have dinner here the other night and we each ordered a steak. My friend is pregnant so she ordered hers well done. We got our steaks and began eating mine was cooked the way I ordered it (medium) but as she cut into her steak we began to see hers was pink in the inside. A lot more pink than a pregnant woman should eat. So we called our waitress and told her it wasn't cooked like we asked she said I'll get that fixed for you. They took a good 15-20 minutes to bring her plate back just to see the same strips of steak she cut but now just burnt. I was shocked at how unsanitary and unprofessional of them as a restaurant. They took her cut up steak which she had already touched and ate a little from and put it back on the grill to recook instead of just cooking a new steak the way she ordered it in the first place. She couldn't even eat it because of how burned it was at this point. I know the waitress and manager could see I had a displeased look on my face and I regret not speaking up there. This time we waited for 5 minutes for the other 3 members of our party to enter the restaurant, because it would just be unthinkable to seat a party before they are all there - EVEN THOUGH THE PLACE WAS MORE THAN HALF EMPTY. We were are all there we are told, rudely, that we can't even seated for at least 30 minutes - while I am looking at 10-15 empty tables. So we ask if they could split us to 3 and 4. Again the hostess tells us it will be 30 minutes. I am so done with the poor management and poor service at this place. The food has generally been very good over the years, but management and service has deteriorated to the point of being worthless. I've been to this Texas Roadhouse several times. The food is always cooked right and the staff is friendly and helpful. The service is always quick and they keep things moving. My favorite is the 16-oz Ribeye, but my wife likes their Prime Rib. The chili is very good and I like that as a side order. I don't give very many restaurants a 5-star rating for great food, nice atmosphere and really good service. Most of the time, restaurants I really like only get 4-stars. This used to be a great place to go eat. Lately (last couple of trips) the food was not up to par. We went the other night and I ordered my steak medium. It came out bleeding a little bit and would not stop. I told the waitress to take it back and get them to microwave it for about 10 seconds and it would be perfect. I have always loved their food and always will. I will never let reviews make up my mind on wether I will visit their establishment or not. As for as the service, well I can only say that the young hispanic girl working that night was working her ass off and directly beside her were 6 yes 6 employees not even offering to help her. The young lady was swamped and nobody I mean NOBODY even offered to help ME, forget her but I am the customer. They sat around staring at me and the other couples in line they just stood there playing. I thought I was in junior high school with a group of idiots. When I asked, I was informed by a server that the tables must have been reserved. Texas Roadhouse does accept reservations - 1st of two mistakes. After several minutes of discussing the matter with a manager, two people were escorted past the small crowd wanting to participate in the matter and sat at the tables in question - 2nd mistake. There's something about this location because the one by Baybrook Mall doesn't quite hit the mark for me like this one does. Again a steak and potatoes review for a good steak and potatoes. Sweet potato loaded and bowl of chilli loaded with your meal is always on point. I believe it's my favorite chilli locally. For me, it's my favorite chilli, but I like a heavy tomato flavor in chilli, adds a bit of sweetness to it. Plus the purple onions in it assist that. Not much to report , just simply a very good steak , I've never had issues with how it's cooked (Medium Rare) and i guess being that I've NEVER had a bad experience here, again, for me....it's my favorite steak house near home, without driving into H-Town. My family had a wonderful experience this past weekend at Texas Roadhouse. We had a party of 16, but TR did a fantastic job accommodating us the best they could. Their maximum table size is 8, so they had to split us up, but after calling ahead one hour in advance, they were able to secure two 8-person tables a few feet away from each other. The food was tasty and very reasonably priced. The country music playing in the background is a plus and helps maintain a fun and relaxing environment. Love the warm, squishy rolls they provide when they seat you. The waiter was great about refilling drinks and checking in, even though they were super busy on a Saturday night. We went there to eat July 17th. First when you walk in the sour smell about knocks you back. It's almost as if they never clean the floors. We sat down at our table and could see the layer of grease and funk on the floor. Then they had no rolls ready, we didn't get those until the appetizer showed up. They didn't have any rattlesnake bites. Which is silly since they don't even open till four and we were there at seven. While sitting there we noticed the bus boys kept resting their dish buckets on the peanut barrel and they were eating from the bucket, socializing and stuffing their pockets with peanuts Apparently this is the norm since the manager just walked on by them numerous times.
