Where to start is the question? And doesn't even deserve one star!!! First, we were a party of 7. (We knew that we would have a long wait.) All of us were there, when the hostess called for our party, told another employee to complete the head count and to seat us. All 7 of us, walk up, employee confirms the head count and literally are standing around waiting to be seated. A tall gentleman (we later find out that is the owner) told my MIL and I to follow to be seated. I look at him and said no one is waiting to seat us. The hostess that originally called for us said to the owner we were just completing the head count. Take a seat. Back in the waiting area we go. Secondly, we FINALLY get our table after the hostess', the person completing the head count, and the owner figured out what the heck they were doing. We are at our table, ordered our drinks, and bread was given to us. No plates were given to us nor were any sort of napkins to eat the rolls off of. As we are eating our rolls from our hands, we noticed something CRAWLING on the table across from us. Unfortunately, I am unable to include videos, but it was ROACHES. Not, the regular Texas roaches, but the DIRTY roaches. We teller our waitress about the roaches. Over 10 minutes has passed, NO ONE has come to check on us or the table with roaches. We are grossed out at this point, but had already placed our order. I personally open my silverware and find who knows what stuck on it. I request another set. We ordered chicken fried steak, 3 medium rare steaks, 2 well done steaks (I'm pregnant and CAN'T eat medium rare steaks), and something off the kid's menu. A manager comes to the general area of our table, seems to be leaning over to hear our conversation so my MIL tells her, "yes, we are the table that reported the roaches. Do you see them crawling over there?" The manger states that they will be calling for an exterminator to get it taken care of and the reason for the roaches is because the doors are always open... Finally, they get someone to tend to the roaches so we thought. The guy only wipes down the table and puts new plates out for the next guests. The roaches have been crawling in and out of the wall, we stated this to waitress and manger. If there is one roach, there is tons more in that wall. Nothing was sprayed on the wall to kill the roaches. Our food is brought out to us. The waitress asks us to cut in our steaks to confirm it's the way it should be. At this point, I still don't have silverware so I can't cut mine. I request them again. The steaks that were medium rare are rare. The steak my MIL ordered to be well done is medium rare. But she is over it and just accepts the steak. The rest of the what should have been medium rare steaks are RARE. My steak that NEEDED to be done as medium well was medium rare. I had to send it back. I can't eat rare steak as I'm pregnant. A lady brings back my steak. It is shoe leather at this point. I choke getting it down. The lady who brought my steak asked if there was anything else she can do. I said, "I need a manager." She replied with an attitude, "I'm Katelyn and I'm the manager". We tell her ALL the problems we have encountered on this "lovely" evening. She acts very unconcerned, as does everyone else about the roaches, asks us how the bill is split, and goes on her way. Katelyn comes back and takes one meal off each bill-kind gesture, but NOT one steak was properly cooked the way we requested. At the end of the day, I get we are all people, but we are paying for things to be done a certain way and we were rudely brushed off all evening. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. We went here for my daughters birthday because last year when we went the server was Amazing! But this year... unfortunately we got the server with jaw wired shut Ceigo. It was very hard to understand him felt bad the establishment should have given him a role with less talking. Unfortunately we didn't even bother telling him it was our kids birthday since we knew singing was out. But it didn't stop him from sneaky selling. I ordered the Jamaican cowboy which typically contains no tequila but he asked me if I wanted my drink with patron or 1800. It kinda confused me. Visited for dinner last night. This is a great example of a well run organization. They were churning out meals at a lightning pace. The food is just fine and about $5-7 less per plate than nearby competitors. The employees are friendly, know the menu and turn over tables without rushing the guests. Managers were hands on, running food and checking on each table. Very, very impressed. read more

We went into this place 8 days ago and my daughter had a roach crawl into her salad. We already paid through their kiosk on the table and ended up trashing our lunch. Manager offered to remake our lunch since there was a roach crawling through our food, but we did not want to eat there anymore. She offered us a free voucher for 2 dinners (despite being there as a family of 4) worth a grand total of UP TO $30. I called their corporate that said the $30 was out of line and I would be hearing from them as they take this very seriously. Later I got a generic canned response email with an offer for UP TO $40.. Now my wife and I can each get our own kids menu meal as long as we leave the kids at home and don't mind roaches where we eat. Exactly a week later, a friend sent us a screen shot of someone else she knows posting about a roach on their table at this same road house in Rosenberg. To see them out on the tables of a crowded restaurant with light on, means they have a serious infestation and undoubtably, roaches are making it into meals back in the kitchen. Service here was mediocre at best but the food was decent. It's a chain restaurant so expectations aren't high but our server looked either hungover or sick and was barely dragging along. Walked in 10 minutes after opening with 6+ employees at the hostess stand and none of them turned around or acknowledged us. Yesterday I ordered online a steak dinner and a hamburger from Texas Roadhouse. The steak was ordered medium well. I was to pickup at 6:45, however the food was not done until 7:05 (no problem). When I arrived home, and was preparing to set up the steak dinner, I noticed that the steak was dry and overcooked. In addition, the baked potato was burnt on the bottom so most of the potato was not edible. The meat on my hamburger was also cooked to hard and dry. This is the first time that I have ordered from them since the beginning of the pandemic. The food was quite disappointing. And I did call and complain and the person who answered the phone asked if I wanted to come back and they would cook another. I have been eating at this location since the opening and most visits were good to very good but this visit would be a no star visit if offered. my Cesar salad came out with very little romaine lettuce and mostly iceberg lettuce including big hunks of core, also the lettuce was very limp and not crisp. The server replaced the salad and the second salad was even worse the croutons were not hard but soggy and wet. My sweet potato was burnt inside and outside a manager came to the table and said this is the way they are always served, I explained to her I order this sweet potato every time I eat here and never burn, she sent out the owner Chris Frazier who had no customer skills and talked over me and took offense at questioning his food quality and started telling me about his increase in revenue and how many more employees he has hired, this had nothing to do with the poor quality of the food I was served. I have never talked to any owner or manager at any restaurant who was more rude and obnoxious. Chris Frazier then rudely offered to comp my meal and I told him I didn't come for a free meal and I paid in full and will find a different restaurant in the future. read more

Terrible service! I would give it 0 stars if it was possible. My family was coming from out of town to have a late lunch with me. They got there first (5 of them) and requested a table for 6 because I would be arriving 10 minutes after. They refused to seat them until I got there. When I got there the hostess said we still had to wait for them to set up a table which I was not happy about but decided to wait. It got bad when another client walked in asked for a table for 2 even though there was only one person present at the time and they went ahead and took her to her table for her to wait on the other person. My husband and I went to pick up our order yesterday for curbside. We waited nearly half an hour before we finally called to see why our order was never brought out. The people bringing out orders never bothered to come to our window after all that time bringing everyone else's food to ask us for our information to check on our order. When we called the manager on duty said the people had us marked off as having got our order by mistake. She offered us a $30 dollar voucher for when we came back. She said we just needed to call it in when we were ready that they would have record of it. They finally brought our food out and we thought we had everything. we got home and by then the food was not fresh, my husband's shrimp were missing from our steak order and our son's drink was missing. We called today to use our voucher and the manager today said whoever was there yesterday did not put the voucher in the system for us. We are beyond disappointed as we come here ofter. Our servers have been friendly, helpful with menu questions and we"ve received good service. If only they'd return quickly after dropping off the check. They have a full bar and my sister enjoyed the Sangria Margarita. We ordered the Catcus Blooms Onion which is deep fried and served with a Cajun horseradish sauce. The Rattlesnack Bites are diced jalapenos and jack cheese, hand battered, lightly- fried and served with cajun horseradish sauce. Both were good and plenty to share between 4 people. We ordered the Wednesday special which is currently an 11 oz. Sirloin for $10.99 vs. regular $15.99. The special is served with two sides in Texas. In Indianapolis the special is served with only one side. The steaks were tender, cooked as requested and all were very satisfied with dinner. The dinner rolls are addictive and it's easy to fill up on before your meal. We also enjoy the grilled chicken, ribs and steaks. The chili is our favorite side dish. The restaurant is very noisy and not a quite, romantic place for a steak dinner. It is a great place to celebrate special occasions and the servers helps make it special. read more

I've never been let down by a Texas Roadhouse before. My date ordered sweet tea, he was brought a glass that looked like it'd been sitting for hours. Ice was almost completely melted and it wasn't sweet at all, he had to send it back. Second glass was cold but still not sweet. This is Texas, sweet tea is a must. Our bread was brought to us, after I had to ask for it, with no cinnamon butter. That's the whole point! I ordered the portabello mushroom chicken, which wasn't good at all. I've seen some people saying here that this location doesn't follow social distancing and that they are really crowded. I actually asked the manager about not spacing out tables a few weeks Ago and he said they are able to seat every table because if the glass dividers they have put up between all tables. I checked the governors orders and this is allowed. He also said they monitor the number of people in the restaurant with their computers at the host stand and they watch to make sure they dont go over the capacity restrictions. They have social distancing signs and mask signs posted all over and my husband and I go there about once a week and have personally heard the host tell people to please put a mask on when they come in. Employees always have masks on. We love this Texas Roadhouse and will continue to Support their wonderful staff. read more

Only positive is the friendly servers. Food is absolutely average to sub-par. One in our party ordered a steak which came out ice cold. Their solution was to sear it,which turned the medium rare steak medium and changed the flavor. They also refuse to make their burgers medium (only medium well or well). Figured I'd give it a shot anyways, and it was as expected, dry and flavorless. The slices of cheese were also obviously put on as an afterthought as they weren't melted at all. We came here on a Sunday night and it was pretty busy. They allow you to call ahead but that didn't help out much as they had given away our table be the time we got there. That is fair I guess. We waited (party of 7) in the waiting room and had some nuts. It took about 20 minutes and we were seated. It took a turn for the worse when they told us they ran out of Prime Rib (after we ordered). Why couldn't they have told us that when we sat down. Yes, I suppose they could have run out right then but even so, it should not have taken so long after we ordered to be notified. The Road Kill smothered in jack cheese and mushroom covered in brown gravy was excellent! The first time (which was quite some time ago) I had it without the gravy, it was dry, bland in the taste, and just not good at all. But, this time just last night I gave it a second try with gravy over the beef patty, Wow! it was really good! The boyfriend's 16 oz. ribeye steak was huge and tasty. Cup of Chili was excellent as always, and so were the complimentary dinner rolls. We had a great experience. This is a super casual eatery with low prices for quality food and a fun atmosphere for families or couples wanting a night out while not breaking the bank or having to get slung up in full drag. ;) They also do not allow open carry of firearms. I won't done anywhere that does allow it. They were accommodating of my family, including my son's service dog, and made us feel completely at ease. I admit that I have a tendency to be a bit of a snob when it comes to dining experiences and was NOT looking forward to this outing near my in-laws new house. The idea of going to a texas themed chain steakhouse restaurant made me groan and my eye roll. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Our server Kade was exceptionally prompt & attentive, the rolls with the cinnamon butter were like food crack and our food was absolutely great. We will definitely be back. read more

Maybe not all there restaurants, this one in specific brought my bean chili cold , my filet overcooked and my salad with a dressing that seems they did not know how to make it . I had been to this location years ago, had a "meh" experience and never got around to writing a review... lucky for them, this time it was a good experience! I went with my family, so lots of food to talk about. Our first batch of rolls was a little toasty but still good. Our second batch were perfect and the waitress though to bring 2 butters the second time since there were 4 of us. The waitress was super friendly and while pushing drinks and what not, amazingly not annoying. We had the fried pickles for a starter. They were good, but not the best I've had. The Caesar salad was quite nice as was the chilli. I had the ribs and pulled pork combo with the mashed potatoes on the side. This was way too much food and the pulled pork ended up being lunch the next day. However, it was all very tasty... no complains! My mom had the pulled pork sandwich which she said was nice and she really liked that you could substitute a sweet potato instead of french fries. My dad had what appeared to be chopped steak smothered in cheese and mushrooms... he liked it... demonstrated by the lack of offering me a taste despite me giving him a rib. My grandmother went with the BBQ chicken and seemed to enjoy it. She however found the chili "too spicy" (hence how I ended up with it)... though I didn't find it that spicy. Overall things were great, and the food is reasonably priced at about $15 a person. We got lucky and had no wait despite it being a Sunday night. If I go back and everything is up to this level again, I might up this review to a 5. read more

I really don't like writing bad reviews unless absolutely necessary. I really try to give the benefit of doubt especially when it comes to restaurants with this pandemic and being a former waiter as well but I feel this is warranted. I ordered the "legend margarita" (our server recommended) which comes with premium liquor and served with black lava salt. Our server brought the drink to the table and you would think I had ordered extra ice because the ice was filled to the top with the drink below it. I also noticed it didn't have the black lava salt on the rim as advertised and our server even acknowledged the missing salt as well. That should have been his queue to take it back and have it replaced. I didn't complain for fear they would bring me back a weaker version of the drink. Also I ordered the country fried sirloin with white gravy. It didn't taste right and asked my husband to taste it. He confirmed they put too much flour in the gravy. Once again, I should have complained but I didn't. As I said, being a former server myself, I can't help but have a higher forgiveness because no server ever wants things to go wrong. Other than that, my husbands steak was good and my toddler enjoyed her steak bites and the environment. Just dissatisfied with my drink and food.
