We had dinner here last night and it was crazy busy so I'm not going to focus on food or service as it wasn't an accurate depiction in my opinion. That being said, my 9 month old grabbed the cinnamon butter off of the table and it got on her hand. Minutes later her hand was HUGE and bright bright red like she was having an allergic reaction. My husband went to find a rag with water to wipe it off and the waitress heard and notified the manager. Everyone was at our table immediately checking on our daughter. They were so caring and kind. We took her to ER afterwards and she is ok :) but I thought it was really nice that they took the time to make sure she was okay while they were so incredibly busy. We will always come to TRH! 4 visits in 30 days is my record. I'd recommend joining the waitlist if you plan to come after 5 or 6 PM because the wait time could be at least 1 hr. Service: Always fast and great except for one time my utensils were gone when I came back from the restroom. Our table was super tiny and the check dropped on the floor. I reached out to grab it and some busboy walked by and threw it away. I said "excuse me that's my check" but he just ignored me and left. I found that super weird. Then some girl told us to pay at the kiosk machine and we did. After we paid, there was no service at all. We wanted to have some rolls to go as always but our server disappeared and other servers were busy with their tables. Other than that, my experience with them has been great. I got "Bre" twice and she was alwasy super nice, attentive and accommodating. Food: -Rolls I enjoy their rolls and sides more than their steaks. To me, this place should be called Texas Rollhouse. The first time I went I ate so many rolls and couldn't finish my main meal so I learned my lesson. -Drinks Blue lemonade is safer than other colors. -Cactus Blossom Very delicious and I order it every time. It tastes the best hot because it gets soggy after a few mins and you will see tons of oil on the bottom. It is very filling and always makes me feel heavy because of the oil. -Sides Shrimps are good but the portion is too small. We paid for a shrimp sidekick once and only got like 5 shrimps, too expensive. I've tried most of their sides and you can modify some at no extra charge. My personal favorites are caesar salad (without bacon), mashed potatoes and seasoned rice. I don't eat steak with rice but a waitress recommended that side and she was right. The rice was very delicious and flavorful. I usually take the rice to go and pack it for lunch. -Meat A bit pricey for average steaks. Medium rare is the way to go. Even rare might be fine because I feel like they always overcook the steaks. Their ribs always taste better as leftovers to me after I air fry them. Our server Izzy was very nice and the staff in general were great, that being said, they undercooked a medium rare steak to pretty much raw, then when the manager walked around to check on us and we mentioned the steak he took it and said that he'd have the kitchen throw it back on the grill. 30 minutes later and steak never showed up and we have to go. Food lived up to all my memories even if my steak was slightly underdone (I like somewhere between medium rare & medium so it's a known risk when I order MR). Prices are exactly what you expect in this type of chain. I'm writing this whole review though just to give a shout out to Jada! We eat out a lot & Jada was top notch! She kept those rolls coming in fresh and hot (& even sent us back to our hotel with a whole extra batch), made sure my dinner companion got to try all the flavors of sweet tea that they wanted, and was just incredibly friendly, even giving us out-of-towners tips for things to see/do. I had a $30.00, 12 oz prime rib and ask for a med rare cut, instead I received an overdone piece with 50% of it fat that I could not eat. the meat was pretty tasteless and very dry. when I told the server, he just looked at it and said nothing. Dinner out to celebrate my sons birthday! The ambiance was very fun. We got in early and did not have to wait. Make sure you check the wait list and get on it if you don't want to stand outside. It gets pretty busy from what I hear. We had no trouble getting a table at 5:00 on a Saturday. TheCactus blossom and rattlesnake bites were delicious! Their rolls are so soft and the cinnamon butter puts the perfect touch on them. They keep bringing them so you have to control yourself so you don't get full before your meal. The Rivas were to die for. They just slide off the bone. I had a house salad and chili. (The chili was cool and the cheese on top didn't melt) but the flavor was wonderful. Since it was my sons birthday(31) they had him get on a saddle horse and did a little special announcement and a big Texas "yee-haw". That was fun!!! We've been to this location a few times now and it's just not as polished of an operation as the Coeur D Alene store. On this latest visit refills were hard to come by and rolls were never offered after the first basket. Many of the meal details were also missed. Extra blue cheese dressing was asked for but not delivered and the cream gravy was left off the smothered chicken. It's not to say the entire visit was poor. The food we had was still very good, especially the Rattlesnake Bites appetizer. It's just for $60 meal, the details should be spot on. read more

This was our first visit to Texas Roadhouse. We went there for a late lunch not knowing what to expect. We were greeted by the very friendly receptionist who were both wearing clothe mask. The bread was very tasty though some people may find it a little too sweat. We weren't very hungry at all this ordered a combo to be shared. As also ordered a margarita to go along with the lunch. The margarita was really good, much better than I expected. The steak was well done as I ordered though the meet itself wasn't very juicy. I wouldn't hold it against the restaurant though since it was a cheap steak thus I wasn't expecting much. The grilled shrimp was very tender and tasty. Overall I think we had a good experience here. Oh and I more thing, when we were heading out one of the staff rushed out ahead of us and opened both doors for us so we wouldn't have to open the door with our hands. Given the current COVID-19 situation I thought that was really caring and extremely thoughtful. First and foremost, make reservations in advance!! Thankfully, my group had reservations tonight and we were able to avoid the four HOUR wait that others who did not have reservations had to face. My pulled pork sandwich was great, my drink was great, rolls were amazing as always, and the staff was exceptionally kind and quick. The only thing I noticed that was different, were no complimentary in shell peanuts to enjoy prior to the meal, but we might have missed them walking in. The Good: Honestly, they make a fantastic bacon cheeseburger, although it may be a bit salty for some. It's only been too salty for me once, but at least it seems like the burger is properly seasoned compared to places like Red Robin and Chili's. Their fried pickles appetizer is usually perfect, too. Carbs be damned! 4 stars for the food. The Bad: The compulsory and ridiculous staff line dance every hour or less. I get it, TR: you're a country music-based eatery, steeped in the tradition of roadside dive bars of the south, and you don't want to lose that heritage. But after visiting TRs around the country along my travels, and occasionally stopping by the one in my current town, that line dance is far less than cute or noteworthy. It's more annoyance than entertainment. 1994 called and wants its sideshow back. No one who's been there more than twice would miss that abrupt interjection to an otherwise nice meal. The music is always a little loud... maybe so people have to talk over it, thus increasing the overall din of the joint to make it seem livelier. But it's absolutely blasted during the line dance. Lastly, while it's nice that staff have restaurant t-shirts, it seems a bit overboard to have some wearing shirts that say "I [heart] my job" on the back. Is that to convince the diners, or the other staff? (is that specific shirt compulsory or do employees actually choose that one?) Almost every staff member I've ever interacted with seemed totally friendly and enthusiastic about being there and providing quality service. I doubt they need a banner on their back telling the world that they love their job. -1 star for the line dance. read more

Cannot hear them over the country tune-age. Kiddos throwing stuff on the floor? So are the adults, with peanut shells.
