We had a 30 minuet wait which was expected on a Saturday night at 6:30. The server was really nice and took our order right away. The bread basket had lettuce and mayo under the wax paper (like the previous customer had a burger and the basket wasn't washed). The first roll of silver I opened had cheese stuck to the fork and the knife was super greasy. We asked for new silver and we received a set with an acceptable fork and another greasy knife. We could see our food in the window and it sat for a very long time. A few servers picked it up then put it down. A few mins later a food runner dropped the food and was adamant that my companion cut her steak open to look at the cook. She had ordered medium rare and this steak was gray inside. I know it was busy but they clearly sent a steak that was unacceptable for the temperature requested. She sent it back and the re-fire was really fast. It was a different cut of steak but it was cooked really well. The broccoli and carrots were so hard that she could not stab them with the fork. The manager came by to ask how everything was. Service was lack luster and the food was mediocre. Also notable, the rolls were incredibly dense and under cooked. I feel grungy after touching the greasy menus and grimy booths. read more

Showed up with plenty of parking but had a 20 minute wait due to Friday night. Husband ordered porterhouse that was cooked perfectly, as he cleaned all the meat off the bone. My ribeye was also great. You know it's a good steak when you don't need steak sauce. I was envious of my husband though. He has a bud light that seemed like it stole the show. Icy cold mug that had a cold beer inside, it was almost frosty. (I can't drink because I'm pregnant) I would come here for the beer alone, most bars don't even serve beer that well. The kid's grilled cheese is very good. Their steaks a good. It has a nice atmosphere, and again the wait staff makes the restaurant. This place is popular, and for good reason. That said, don't say I didn't warn you. They don't take reservations, but you can call ahead of arriving to get your name on the list and I highly recommend doing just that. The parking lot gets so packed that people park on the grass behind the building. They cook the steaks beautifully, the sides are awesome and they start you out with this cinnamon flavored butter on hot yeast rolls. It is super family friendly and the wait staff are always on point! If you have a peanut allergy, be warned. There are barrels of roasted and salted peanuts as you walk in and they are served at the table along with those decadent rolls. Also, you can window shop the steaks and select your very own side of beef. Or, you can select cuts from the menu. The thing is, this steak house is actually reasonably priced and surprisingly delicious, which is why I believe it is so popular. Seriously, lines are out the door even during the week. Go on and getcha some! My recommendation is for the filet with a side salad and a loaded sweet potato.....they'll even put marshmallows on it if you ask!! read more

I love Texas Roadhouse! we was in this evening for Father's Day! the wait was a little bit long but for a party of 12 what do you expect. EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection I'll server , Hannah was excellent! She cater to every need everything came out hot as order and the atmosphere was great. And also the Texas Roadhouse manager / server Supervisor was going from table to table checking on the customers which was a nice touch. Overall I enjoy my experience I have went to this location multiple times and always up to my standards.! I would highly recommend this location and I give this location 10 Stars. I would say the star is for the service, however we were never actually served. We had three servers walk past us in the first fifteen minutes we sat down. Worst experience ever. Called ahead an hour and a half ahead of time, we get there 15mins early and waited...complete chaos. We are waiting and the waitress bump you with no excuse me and have attitude. We ask about our table. We get told table has a party and will be done within 15 mins.... we stand around for a hour and decided not to eat there. After reading some mixed reviews my family went tonight and we all were very happy with the experience. The ribeye steaks were cooked perfectly and had excellent favor and the grilled shrimp were very good also. Chelsea provided attentive, excellent service and even changed one of the TV channels to allow us to see NCAA basketball games better. Bread and cinnamon butter were great and the salads, baked potatoes and corn were on point. The beer and wine selection could be better but it was a very good overall experience. They told us 30-45 minutes one night and it ended up being a hour and 15 minutes and I was pissed. Didn't even say sorry or anything. Go during the day on the weekends less busy. First time as this location as they just opened up last week. With that being said the restaurant is in great condition and is very clean. They are well staff and upon arriving my group was greeted right away and were seated. We were told who our server was going to be and asked if we would like any hot rolls. The server we had was spot on. She was excellent very through with accuracy of orders and we never had to ask for a refill so was ahead of the game. That is always a big one for me. The rolls were so hot buttery and delicious. They have a nice butter, cinnamon spread that accompanies them. As a side I choose the salad. I was surprised at the large portion size. The steak was cook perfect and the food was great all around. Also for such a large restaurant the layout allows for good Noise control and allowed for good conversation. Came here with a friend during the late lunch rush. We were seated in relatively short time. We did have to stand around a bit as the woman seating us was waiting for our order of rolls to come from the kitchen, which was a bit awkward as I thought we'd just be seated and the rolls would just come to us when they were ready. Guess it kinda shows how inexperienced the staff is at the moment more than anything, but I'm not one to dock a restaurant for a minor quirk. I ordered the combo appetizer to get things rolling, which is where my 2 star review stems from. The buffalo wings were just okay, with the breading having a light cayenne pepper seasoning to it. The tater skins were covered in what I can only describe as movie theater quality cheese: the rubbery, flavorless variety. They were sparsely covered in bacon bits that didn't really contribute to the flavor of the skins. The accompanying blue cheese was the only way I was able to stomach the skins. The rattle snake bites were absolutely delicious though, and with the blue cheese they really made the entire meal for me. Oh, and the rolls are SUPER good. After about 20 minutes or so, we received our main entrees. I had a NY Strip cooked medium-rare along with some ribs and a loaded baked potato. The steak looked as if it were cooked to medium rare, but the texture of it in my mouth was more reminiscent of a medium-well cooked steak. I can attest that the NY Strip certainly tastes like meat, because there was no seasoning to be had at all on the steak. If it weren't for the steak sauce on the table, I would've sent it back to the kitchen for sure. The loaded baked potato was embarrassingly awful looking and tasting, with sour cream plopped on and cheese scantily strewn across the top of it. The potato was "baked" in a microwave for sure, as the inside had the toughness of a potato plopped in the microwave for a few minutes. I don't even really want to discuss the ribs, as they were dreadfully dry when delivered and had no real flavor to them, much like the NY Strip. I was expecting a bit more out of here after hearing friends rant and rave about the steaks and burgers. Nothing sky high like Ruth Chris or anything, but certainly something better than what I experienced. Maybe I'll drop by again to give the burgers a chance, but I can say this isn't the steak spot for me. On a final note, though it should be obvious to most, this isn't the type of restaurant you want to have intimate conversation in as it is L O U D at all times. If I could give it a no star I would! Tried to call in for a pick up order after a long day at work. Called five times no one answer. Finally some girl picked up the phone and I told her I would like to order for pick up, she put me on hold for more than 10minutes until I hung up. I get how they get busy and swamped sometimes as I worked before in restaurant bigger than this one but once the phone rang whoever and whatever is for we answered. It's ridiculous that no one answered the phone when someone called 5times on a Monday night in not so busy hour. Guess they don't want our business. We gladly took it somewhere else and not coming back to this location anymore. I have always been a fan on Texas road house and this one is no different. The steaks are seasoned well and you have a variety of steak to choose from even to whether you want a hand cut steak or not. The bar is a great place to watch your favorite sports game and they do not skimp on the liquor. The atmosphere is casual and it is encouraged to eat the peanuts and throw the shells on the floor. I normally have wings as an appetizer and I get them hot because restaurants tend be cautious with hot wings.... not this place. You get exactly what you ask for. No complaints here read more

We visited this location on 4/12/16, about a week after they first opened. Even though it was a Tuesday night, we knew there could be a wait. There were just two of us and we actually only waited about 15 minutes for a table. That was the beginning of a wonderful dining experience. The service was excellent. Our waitress, Logan, took great care of us. She recommended certain entrees and kept our drinks full. She was very cheerful and you could tell she enjoyed her job. The food was delicious. The rolls and butter were out of this world! We had a cactus blossom for our appetizer and for our entrees we had a steak and shrimp meal and a chicken meal. All of the sides were very tasty as well. The portions were very plentiful and I believe I took home more food than I actually ate at the restaurant. The prices were about what you would expect at a steakhouse and overall we felt like we got great food and service for our money. Whenever I am in the mood for a steak this is my go to place. I visited this new location in Suffolk as it is closer to my house. Great location right off the highway in an up and coming part of town as I noticed tons of new stores and construction going on. Not much to say as the experience is always the same when you dine here. There's always a wait on the weekends. However their service is pretty good once you are seated. You get the bread a cinnamon butter which the table gobbles up pretty quickly. The waiter never hesitates to offer more. What I enjoy most here is my steak is cooked exactly the way I ask which is sometimes difficult when you request a medium steak. They also have an option of adding onions, mushrooms and gravy to any steak which I love. All in all I always enjoy my food and will definitely return in the future. read more

So, this is my second time at this location. The only reason it is not getting a single star is because I am rating as an average of the two visits. We called ahead but it wasn't packed...so, that was not a problem. However, upon being seated and placing our order: 1) Our chili was luke warm and the cups were half full. They were also dirty so we wondered if this was the last of the chili and they were trying to pour between the two cups. 2) We NEVER received our food after waiting an 1 1/2 hour. Of course we watched others receive their food and eventually asked for a manager. Though my boyfriend was already ready to leave, I decided to give them an opportunity especially since the reality was that we were both starving. I asked the manager if she could find out how long it would be before our food would come out and she agreed. Upon leaving our table, we watched her chat and laugh with the wait staff then with other customers then to the front register.....never once going to check on the status of our food. OH...I should mention that our waitress never came back to check on us either. This was an awful experience. I can understand wait staff being inexperienced and learning as they go....but for a manager to be so aloof explains why I am reading the reviews about the service. The buffalo chicken wings are real chicken bites and always served hot. The steak I had there (bone in sirloin) was outstanding!!! Seasoned beautifully and cooked to order precisely!!! The staff is so sweet. My son wanted to be called "Luke Skywalker" for his birthday and they happily complied. Since being open for nearly a year, their service has gotten faster. They helped me get out in a flash when my daughter ate 3x her weight in peanuts and threw it all up on the floor. It's a great place for kids and adults alike. read more
