The food quality is good & the steak was perfectly cooked. Thank you Gracie for the service. She's very friendly & very patience with our orders. You made our experience a good one.

Went with the family. I like that they have a waitlist online to make for easy check in. About a 15 min wait. They no longer serve peanuts unless you ask. Had to ask twice to get those for my daughter. I had a free app and that wasn't taken off the bill when we received it. Overall, large food portions. Able to make 2 meals out of my 1. Ribeye steak with loaded potato and house salad. I enjoy that their house salad comes with hard boiled eggs. You don't see that anywhere else. Favorite app is the rattlesnake bites. Husband had ribs, mash potatoes and chili. The chili was a little too salty for him. Kids had the kids steak and a huge burger.

First time trying this new location in Turlock. Like that they have different waiting list options to add your name anytime anywhere on the phone app, website, or call in without having to be there directly in person. Customer service was good and music not too loud (at least on the day I came). I ordered 16oz prime rib "medium" (which according to the menu means "pink center") - but what I got looks more like "well-done" and dryish looking. Sadly, I am NOT satisfy with my prime rib...

Just so so restaurant and definitely not a go-to bbq place. My family and I go here sometimes and I stress "sometimes." What do we love? The appetizers, the bread and that delicious butter. The ribs were burned. We sent them back. I literally haven't sent food back in about 20 years. They were that burned. Everyone agreed including the server they were burned. My question is if you're a bbq restaurant that has 35-40 price points on your small portion plates then why would you even consider letting that leave your kitchen. Then how does the server look at it and say "meh, send it". They replaced it quickly but why force us to request it? The country fried chicken was good. No complaints. The loaded fries , loaded potato and the skins all seemed like they were microwaved. Not a good feeling for food that is supposed to be higher quality than McDonalds and Carls Jr. I really like the restaurant feel but man has the quality of the food become very institutionalized. You're better off looking for a small business BBQ restaurant. Hughson has some good ones.

My girlfriend and her family love T-Roads, and I can't remember the last time, if ever, so I knew when I was visiting the 209, I had to give it a try. This place does get busy, so it's recommended to go on their website to get on the waitlist. It will save you plenty of time. We started off with their famous dinner rolls and cinnamon butter. These came out piping hot, and were tasty. I ordered the the ribeye with loaded mash and a cesar salad. The ribeye itself was pretty average, meat quality, alright, but it didn't have so much flavor. Some maldon salt would've gone a long way. The cesar was alright, but the loaded mash was delicious when I added some horseradish to it. Adding that, adds a such a different flavor profile that elevates the side dish. I also got the ribs, and while they were fall off the bone, they were dry at the same time. How that happens, I have no clue but they were alright, probably wouldn't get it again but my girlfriend loves em, so I'll just steal a couple from her order to get my rib fix for the night. For drinks they had $5 LIT (Long Island Iced Teas), which is self explanatory, and never a good idea. Did that stop me from ordering it? No, but did what it needed to do. Overall, Would it be my first choice? Prob not. Would I come here again? Yes. It's an affordable steakhouse, with solid sides, and not a bad place to watch the game. Bonus that they give you bags of peanuts! Took a couple of bags home with me, I couldn't stop eating them.

Country fried steak dry even the gravy didn't help

It pains me to give Texas Roadhouse a low rating but the Turlock restaurant food is horrible. We arrived when they first opened at 2pm so they were not super busy. The wife order beef tips and I ordered the country fried steak. Both our orders the steak was overcooked, super dry and even gravy didn't help. I should have looked at the star rating before going here.

Potato Skins, well done w/sour cream and ranch on the side

The wife had a steak craving, so naturally, we stopped in at Texas Roadhouse in Turlock. The wait was about 2 minutes. Was pretty nice, being that we normally check in from the app as we are leaving home to avoid a 30-45 minute wait. Potato Skins are my wife's go-to appetizer, and she loves them well done near burnt most times. They came out well. Main consisted of BBQ Chicken and Sirloin combo with mashed potatoes and brown gravy and a cup of chili for me. My wife had 6oz sirloin with a salad and baked potato. Our waitress Ciera was very attentive and super polite. Food came out cooked exactly as ordered. Bbq Chicken was good, not overpowered by the bbq sauce. Steak was perfectly medium rare. My only complaint is that my mashed potatoes weren't as good as I had expected based on prior visits. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well and surprisingly left very little behind to take home to our doggo. One thing I hadn't ever noticed was the Texas star above the bar. It's a neat additi9n to the bar area that I'll be pointing out to others in the future. Oh, have to also point out that Jen (assuming she is one of the managers) swung by to check on us, and was awesome as well. She refilled our drinks and then offered to get us drinks to go as we were finished eating. Staff here is great! One of the main reasons we come back over and over.

The food was always top notch! After the first ownership change, it seemed to have lost it's value a bit. I went last year and I'm not sure who was the owner at that time, but it seemed to be back up to par. A few weeks ago, some girlfriends and myself stopped by for dinner and drinks. My friend wanted an indigeny and we were told they were out and that the menu was most likely inaccurate regarding beers, due to how often they change them. She wanted a cider and was told dustbowl strawberry margarita is a cider. It is in fact a seltzer and not what she wanted. I asked for a mango mojito and was told they were out of mint. I'd decided to order anyway and when the drink arrived, it was not flavored at all. I asked if it was mango and he said no and went to change it, saying the bartender got mixed up. While it was better as mango, a mojito needs mint. One of my friends ordered fries and what came to the table was not what we would consider fries. It was slices of potato and I didn't find it to have much seasoning. Another friend ordered arancini and an artichoke, while the last friend ordered arancini with tomato sauce on the side. Her arancini arrived with the tomato sauce on the bowl and not on side as requested and the waiter took it back to fix it. The artichoke was not cleaned, leaving the choke (fuzzy part) in the middle and my friend had started to eat it. At $18 for an artichoke, it should be cleaned correctly. The anancini were tasty and I enjoyed both the tomato and the pesto sauce that accompanied it. Before we ordered our mains, the waiter came back to say they were out of burgers and the cut of steak for both the black and bleu and the Jack Daniel's steaks, but could sub a ribeye instead. Ribeyes were market price vs the $37 of those 2 items. I was going to get the black and bleu, but then decided I would try to fish of the day. It was a white fish with a cream sauce and baby shrimp over mashed potatoes and green beans and I thought it was done very well. The fish was flaky, the mash creamy and the green beans had just enough bite! I ended up ordering another drink, but opted for wine to make it more simple. One of my friends had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and she thought it was OK. While I had hoped for a better experience, I will probably return to see if things are the same or they were just having an off day.

When I got there, there were still some empty open tables, however, as I was leaving, it seems like they're just about all filled up. I got the Mr. milkman cocktail and it was pretty tasty, although I did notice how it appeared, as if there were a lot of wines and other beverages that they were out of. Even with my cocktail, they had to substitute the base with soda water, although it was still tasty. There was probably about 7 to 8 wines/sakes that were crossed out on the menu. Food came out fast, and the service was decent on that chefs end. I got the Korean Stone bowl dish, and It was pretty tasty, although fairly expensive for what it was... rice, veggies, and a little bit of beef, but I do like the concept of having a hot bowl that progressively warms up the rest of the food inside. I really do wish there was more meat inside for the price, I feel like only two or three bites had beef. One thing that I really noticed (and I think I noticed even more because I was sitting at the bar) was how servers and the bartenders spent a lot more time conversing with their friends (who were sitting at the bar) then checking in on some of the other people. Someone did approach me to put in my drink order, but I flagged down the server to put all my other food orders in. I don't think anybody came and asked how my meal was either. I do enjoy the overall ambience of the place, dim mood lighting, a minimalist esthetic, and a bar that really nicely displays some of their high end liquors.
