Our server was Charlie. HE TOTALLY ROCKS!!!! Our wait time wasn't bad. We added our name to the list when we were on our way. Upon entering, I noticed the steaks that you can pick out & have prepared to your liking had tickets on them. I didn't care for how they had the tickets for the steak actually on them. I thought of the red dye soaking into the meat. Even though I do not eat Beef, that kinda rubbed me the wrong way. I wasn't pleased with food being on the floor when they sat us down. Commenting on a policy change at Texas Roadhouse. Evidently, requesting extra rolls now requires extra money. So after spending a hundred bucks on steaks to go and you ask for six extra rolls for the family, they charge you $2.70. Not a complaint just an amazement that they think their roles are worth so much more. Yes they are quite tasty and the honey butter is pretty good but really?? UPDATE: got to the house and even though I paid $2.70 for rolls and honey butter, they never gave me any additional honey butter. So I guess only I got ripped off. read more

My husband and I ordered take out online. Ordering and picking up was flawless for me. when we got our food home, it was already cold. My husband ordered Prime rib with an jus, creamy horse radish, and side of chili. We didn't get the au jus or the horseradish and his chili had corn in it. I ordered the medallions with mushrooms, a loaded sweet potato (which is supposed to have the brown sugar sauce, butter and marshmallows) and shrimp. I asked for the medallions to be medium and got medium well. More on the well done side. The shrimp came with the usual drawn butter but the butter had some burnt deep fried something in it and the sweet potato only had marshmallow on top. I dont think I will order take out any more. Even dining in has its food issues.I don't believe I will go there any longer. I have been frequenting that establishment since I move here in 2005 and I has gone downhill. They never processed the online order, so upon arrival at 7:15 sharp(I was told 7:15 it would be ready), I had to wait an extra 15 minutes for them to make it. When we finally got called, we moved from line to line and number space to number space. You would think you were at Disney. After we finally got a table, we waited over 45 min for our food. Mine came out burnt and my wife's raw. We sent them both back. 10 min later my wife got hers and 20 minutes later I got mine. I ordered the porterhouse and it was the worst I ever had. Worst time management ever! Placed an order for 1 dozen rolls at 3:15pm, was told the order would be ready at 3:33. Showed up at 3:36 and texted "HERE" along with ToGo parking spot number. A employee asked for my name at 3:45. We asked twice where our SIMPLE order was. It took asking twice for them to tell us it would be out in 5 minutes. Although there were other teams waited outside (not sure they were waiting for togo menu or for the table), we waited about 25 minutes for our table as we didn't make a reservation. We walked to Sams near the restaurant for window shopping while waiting. We got a text message when it's ready. We had a good experience here. You should order Cactus Blossom. It is not only visually satisfying! I could not stop eating it before the main menu came lol. It succeeded to satisfy my family too lol. A main menu came with two chosen side dishes and all of them looked so delicious and they tasted delicious as well. I was surprised that the salad was so fresh. I should have ordered more salad...!! Both mashed potatoes and Baked potato were good. Just a personal opinion: Chill was salty to me. The seasoned rice would be better to be just a plain rice which would be a better pair to the chili. My family loved going here prior to Covid. Absolutely enjoyed everything about our experience: food was always tasty, service was consistently above average to excellent. We ordered takeout several times during the shutdown when only carryout was available, but noticed that when the dining room re-opened, the carryout began to struggle. I know from my own experience in the restaurant industry that it's very hard to run a successful dine-in and well-oiled carryout at the same time. So, I forgave them and understood when food items were missing here and there, food wasn't cooked properly, etc. But eventually we stopped ordering to-go because it was disappointing and wasteful. After over a year, we decided to order carryout again. Two adult meals, two kids meals. No appetizers. Shortly after arriving, the food comes out (two adult steak meals, one kid steak meal), but after checking the bag - the kids meal with chicken strips was missing. Immediately, I am concerned because if it isn't ready - those steaks are going to sit there and get rubbery. After going through multiple people, we explain the kids chicken was missing. Five minutes pass. Ten minutes. Go into check. Five minutes. Manager eventually comes out and says, "what's up." Five minutes go by and manager brings out the food. The kids steak was over cooked and could not be salvaged. The other two steaks were medium-rare enough to be re-heated, but then ended up being over cooked. The sides were barely edible. I appreciate the refund that was granted, but when you're super busy and decide to order take-out and you want it to be something other than fast food, it's a pretty big disappointment to not only have the food taste bad - but to be treated like your experience does not matter. I have never had such a horrific experience at a Texas Roadhouse. We were in the area from out of town for a concert and wanted to eat here because we like eating at the one closer to home. As soon as we got our food, we saw a roach crawling on the seat back. Then we notice a fly in one of our cinnamon butter cups. We tell the waitress and she gets the manager. The best she can offer us is a different table. Really pointless because we were almost done eating. We get moved over and the manager tells us she will bring us fresh drinks since we left them at the other table. The salad was good. My lady liked her pork chops. Unfortunately, after opening up my take out container, I didn't see my half slab of ribs. I called the restaurant and was placed on hold for a long time. Since I called at 10:59 pm and the restaurant closed at 11 pm, I was under the impression that I was not going to get a response. The person asked if I wanted to speak to a manager or take out team member. I replied that either one would be fine. I have up after being on hold for about ten minutes.
