Thai cuisine featured on Michelin guide? Sign me up! Dined here for a birthday dinner, group of 6. Food: The food here is not your basic pad Thai or basil fried rice. This place has a variety of dishes that offer authentic Thai flavors. I myself tried a dish, the ka prow stewed beef. This was recommended by our server and it did not disappoint. It was a perfect balance of spicy and savory! Portion also great. We ordered a few starters and they were also good. Cocktails: Tasty, there's a variety of drinks based on a different spirit. Was nice to see mezcal here! Service & Ambience: Friendly service, he was very welcoming and brought out a dessert for the birthday girl. The ambience here is cozy, noise level is nice. We can hear each other talk. Perfect place for a dinner or intimate birthday celebration!

This is Not a baby friendly place. My friend also has a baby, we both went here for lunch and it was overall not the best experience. We went at a later lunch hour at 2:30pm (the lunch specials end at 3:30pm). First they don't have high chairs, only booster seats. So I ended up holding my baby on my lap. Then we were not allowed to bring our strollers in, well at least they gave me a fuss about it in the beginning. The restaurant was empty. Only about 4-5 tables occupied. I eventually was able to bring stroller and park it at our table. But my friend had to leave her baby stroller by the front door. The entire time it felt like the wait staff was annoyed that we would even come with our babies. It really was not a friendly air. When it came to the food, I had better choices this time. I ordered from the restaurant week. Got the chicken wings and the beef soup. Loved the chicken wings! Spicy!! It had a delicious kick to it. And the beef soup was a perfect remedy to the cold. Overall really not a baby-kid friendly place. Would not go back with my baby.

My friends and I were craving Thai food, so we decided to try this restaurant. The ambiance was cozy and inviting! We started with the pork bao buns, which were incredibly flavorful, and the shrimp dumplings, which I would definitely return for. For my entrée, I ordered the pad see ew with chicken--it had fantastic flavor, and the chicken was perfectly tender. I enjoyed it with a glass of Prosecco, which paired really well. The staff was attentive, and overall, we had a wonderful dining experience.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon with some friends. We ordered three appetizers: Papaya salad - $17 Peek gai (chicken wings) - 6 for $17 Goong gaew (raw shrimp) - 6 shrimp for $22 In addition, we shared three entrees: Crab fried rice - $32 Kaeng ped yang (duck curry) - $36 Kra pow stewed beef - $29 Mushroom fish curry - This was on a special menu so not too sure about the deets here I would say that the prices are on the higher end for what you get (why I included the prices). Portions are definitely on the small end here. The wings were tiny, and the raw shrimp felt low effort. The shrimp itself wasn't briny, but the dipping sauce on the side feels low effort. Papaya salad was good! This is usually my favorite thing to get at Thai restaurants. Entrees were underwhelming. Crab fried rice doesn't taste like much, and the lava egg was pretty overcooked. Would have preferred the stewed beef in smaller pieces. It was a little gamey to me. Mushroom fish curry sauce was decent; I think it had lightly fried salmon in it. I personally don't eat duck curry, but my friend said it was very alright. Nothing stand out.

Very solid Thai food, good authentic flavors. Great service and a friendly and vibey restaurant. Popular amongst locals and can be a bit of a wait for a table on a Friday night.

Recently order dinner from here. I got the crab fried rice and the soup with fried fish. Both dishes are some of my favorite in New York. I would come back for that exact meal tomorrow.

Had a late lunch here and did not need a reservation. For appetizers we got the chicken wings and shrimp cakes. The chicken wings were crispy and flavorless with the dipping sauce doing all the work. The dipping sauce was tangy with a kick. The shrimp cakes were fantastic. Perfectly crispy coat with a dense shrimp meat inside. I also liked they provided some leafy greens with it. For main, we had the crab fried rice and beef soup. I would not recommend the crab fried rice as the rice and egg were immensely bland with a few lumps of crab meat on top. The beef soup had nice pieces of meat and meatballs along with bean sprouts. The soup was hot and sour, just not for me. Service was subpar and perhaps it was due to the time of day we came in. They came by a few times to refill water but could not be bothered to take away the plates which made things very difficult on such a small table. The inside is clean and airy. I'm sure they have other things on the menu that might be better than what we picked.

This is a great Thai place. I had the duck confit satay, which is a seasonal dish. The duck was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The peanuty satay sauce was great. They provided lettuce and I made a little wrap with the duck, satay sauce, rice, and vinegar side sauce they gave and it was delicious and well balanced. They seem to be known for their crab fried rice, and it was also delicious. The green sauce really elevated it and gave it a nice kick, and the crab was not fishy at all. The egg omelette was not super dry, which I liked. My cocktail was ok, it was nothing extraordinary. Would come back to try some of their other dishes.

Food was good, but the hospitality of the place was awful. I do not like places that have reservation timings and this place was so strict on it. To the point where I literally basically just started eating my entree and they took my plate out from under me, didn't even ask if I wanted a box and that was that. I really wanted to try their mango sticky rice and we didn't even get that opportunity. Just got the check and when we asked if we could order dessert, they said they had run out of dessert. Lies.

This is a relatively affordable option when in UWS. A good selection of food but the one that really stood out to me was the dessert that they collaborated with @claude_nyc , full of Thai tea flavors and very yummy

Tha Phraya served up a good Thai meal in a fancy setting. They won a Michelin star last year, so this isn't your lunch takeout kind of restaurant. The chive dumpling starter was really interesting, good flavor and an almost mochi-like consistency. The chicken khao soi was pretty good, I love it when this northern Thai dish shows up on menus. This version tasted good, but didn't stand out as exceptional relative to other khao soi meals I've had. Solid dining experience overall, you won't be disappointed coming here!

A fantastic execution of traditional Thai cuisine. Very solid service but the gem of this place was the food. We loved every single item we had and lunch special was a great deal ($19.50 for lunch and app Monday through Friday 12-3:30pm). A solid ambiance for a quick lunch or even a date night potentially.

This is a very nice restaurant with a beautiful bar. Had a reservation using Ressy and was seated promptly. Came for lunch so it wasnt too crowded. There are a lot of options on the menu and drinks as well. Went with the Thai iced tea, crab fried rice and chose a pad see ew from their lunch menu. The food all came at once. The crab fried rice was good. I loved the green sauce they pair it with. I'm still wondering how they get the egg to be that color. Crab was a generous portion. Lunch special was not overly sweet. Had a lot of pad see ew's that are sweet. The eggs from the dish was cooked perfectly. Taro spring rolls had a crunch to it. Good starter dish. Drink was sweet and tasty. Service was attentive and staff was extremely kind. Was such an authentic experience in a very nice setting!

The beef soup is clear and light and the noodles have a delightful texture, with a slight chew and good bounce. There's a good portion of braised beef as well. Tender but a bit fatty for my taste, but given the portion it's not going to kill you. Lamb burger ended up as overkill and will be consumed as leftovers but a quick sampling let me know that it's gamey and fatty with strong notes of cumin. Not a bad thing, but something to note for people that might not generally enjoy lamb or cumin. Black pepper beef rice bowl was solid too. Spice wise, you can calibrate accordingly but I'd recommended at least their regular spice level. Decent amount of tenderized but still chewy beef. Both dishes came with a salad of celery, carrot, cucumber, peanuts and seaweed strips in a light sauce. Couldn't quite figure out the sauce but it was lightly tart and refreshing. Space is clean and modern. Neutral wood, well lit. Service is friendly enough. If you dine in, you order at the kiosk and they'll deliver to your table. We had leftovers that they graciously packed up. Solid choice. I hope they stick around as they do bring a different cuisine to the area.

The Ahi Tuna was the perfect and proper color it should be. The flavors were SPECTACULAR-WONDERFUL!!! NOTE: WAGAMAMA has added to their menu, since my last visit, so you now have a RAMEN SELECTION, and other yummy additions. I was too full from my spectacular Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl to try the Korean bbq Chicken Wings ($8.95) but, I will definitely be back to try them!! I'll post menu photos so you have an idea of the delicious food choices. (April 2026) My very first delicious bite of Ahi Tuna had a heavenly garlic flavor, it was wonderful, and the sweet green seaweed with rice only added to the wonderfulness. Vertical slices of cucumber, onion and scallion, also add deliciously to my wonderful Poke Bowl. Toasted sesame seeds, too. SIMPLY MARVELOUS!!! Remember to be sure to mix the poke bowl rice as you eat, so that you mix the rice with the yummy sauce that may accumulate at the bottom of the poke bowl. I usually eat a little while, THEN, mix the rice. This was so good, I had to eat, eat, eat, before I could stop to mix. LOL. That sweet green seaweed was so yummy!! A lovely mix of flavors...the garlic, the sweetness....I LOVED IT ALL SO MUCH!!!! When was the last time you enjoyed a dish so very much that you felt like standing up in the restaurant and telling everyone: THIS IS SOOO DELICIOUS!!!! Well, I felt like that, but I didn't stand up and tell everyone, but I did tell the manager, who happen to come to the table to ask how everything was. And I let him know how much I was enjoying the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. He explained why and how the tuna was so flavorful. We had a delightful brief foodie chat. What a joy!! The service is very nice here. I like the atmosphere too. And the music, which is cool; it does not interfere with thinking, or having a conversation. I really like it here . The women's rest room was very nice, and clean, with a Dyson Hand Dryer, so no paper towels on the floor. Yay! Helping our environment, too!! And I like the black and white wall paper, too. See my photos My last visit I enjoyed the Pad Thai, and the same non-alcoholic beverage, " Asian Mint Limeade", from the MINDFUL DRINKS area on the beverage menu. ($9.50) (April 2026). A nice treat! It does have a light carbonation (bubbles). This visit my delicious meal was from the BOWLS SECTION of the food menu, it was the AHI TUNA POKE BOWL ($17.95) (April 2026) With warm, and hot weather on the way, I know I will be enjoying this AHI TUNA POKE BOWL again...and again! If you love good food, good service, and a very cool environment, put this location of WAGAMAMA on your list ! (East side) LOCATED On THIRD AVE, at East 39th Street. There is OUTDOOR SEATING, too, with red umbrellas. See my photos. Enjoy yourself here. Totally delightful. There are several locations in Manhattan. I did not know that. I remembered i liked my experience going to one in London in 2024 and decided to go. I love how attentive the wait staff are, a little too attentive. A waitress, she had long hair and a nose ring, approached me when I was just glancing her way during eating. I didn't need anything, but I appreciate the favor. That same waitress gave me my receipt too early like she wanted me to leave ASAP. This was right before I asked to look at the desserts after I finished my meal. A "Would you like some dessert?" would have be appreciated. Cedrick, my principal waiter, was phenomenal. He decided to take care of me after no one was at the hosting desk for 5 minutes after I arrived. I had the chicken potsticker ramen and it was delicious! The potsticker was seasoned very well: my favorite part. To drink, I had the Asian Arnold Palmer and it was a cute drink! Only downside is the sweetness was not even distributed through the drink, even after I mixed the drink. Even though I had an issue with the service, I saw how caring they were (he looked like a manager now) to a family that came after me with organizing their seats and getting a baby chair. I just wished they gave me the same respect instead of rushing me out the door.

We were guided toward the back, past white marble tables with beautiful mustard colored velvet chairs to the long countertop facing the open kitchen. We scanned QR codes to pull up the menu, and despite no omakase noodle offerings to be found, decided to stay because the menu options they did have sounded too good to pass up. Of course they had classic shio and miso ramens, but they also had a duck tsukumen, a red snapper ramen, a black truffle ramen, and the dish I set my sights on-- the uni mazemen. There were also lots of appetizers and a long list of high end onigiri featuring proteins like scallop lemon shio, A5 wagyu ponzu, and bluefin chutoro on offer. This place was the real deal. Our group shared the tebasaki wings-- so crispy and so flavorful, I could have inhaled a whole plate of these. The salmon, ikura, and apple appetizer that was served in a glass chalice was superb but even better was the bluefin tuna avocado sashimi with wasabi. That one was a winner across the board. And then my uni mazemen, which really stole the show. There was a very generous portion of uni that mixed with the savory sauce and al dente ramen noodles perfectly. This dish was rich, unctuous, and fresh and definitely delivered in value, though it was double the price of most other noodle bowls. Uni is a delicacy. Having just returned from a second trip to Japan I can say this place is really as good as any restaurant I visited in Japan, and it's right here in Murray Hill. These Murray Hill bros are lucky.
