We came here to celebrate the end of our project dinner, i was so gagged!!! Every piece was rlly delicious. I was having a GREAT time drinking sake w it. One thing i feel like has made me more adult in the last year is rlly starting to appreciate why ppl need certain alcs w. certain foods. Ughhh i wanna eat this again, truly dont know which was the best bite. Maybe toro????? Beautiful night

Excellent omakase provided here. SO and I had dinner here a few weeks ago. Everything was tasty and fresh! Bottom line, the food and service were excellent. Be on time!

The cost of the omakase was okay for the fish that we got. The chef was really nice and polite. The waitress was also really friendly. However, I only gave this 4 stars before I did have to look around for the waitress to ask for more water. But overall it was a good experience.

One Bite is probably one of our favorite omakase restaurants on the UWS, still. But we can't be as gung ho about it as we were when it first opened. The attention to rice has diminished precipitously. Temperature, compression and seasoning are not attended to with the same care as it was when the place first opened. It's not at all bad for a mid-tier restaurant -- just not excellent as it once was. At a recent lunch and dinner, shari (sushi rice) was too cold -- cooler than room temperature -- and overly compressed. It did not dissolve upon contact the tongue as it ought. (I like to eat nigiri sideways in these cases.) At recent omakse meals, there were far more pieces that were heavily Americanized than there used to be (think salmon with aoli). I know a lot of customers probably like this stuff, but traditionalists may not and should take note. This is a placeholder to remind me to add more detail later!

Solid lunch omakase that hits the sweet spot for quality and portion size. The New Zealand king salmon was exceptional. Everything felt notably fresh; you'll leave satisfied but not uncomfortably full. Good value for the quality, especially at lunch pricing. Highly recommend and will be back.

Came here for lunch and every piece was really solid from beginning to end. I don't think you can find a better deal for omakase.

OMG What an amazing Omakase place, way better than any other in the hood plus lunch Omakase was only $49. Every bite was exceptional !

Enjoy the delicious lunch here, great value for the quality of the Omakase. The fish was so good, not a single bad bite. They make their own homemade ginger in house. I don't usually like ginger, but I really loved their cubed ginger. I added on the Uni and it was perfect. Can't wait to go again.

Echoing all the other reviews by saying this was one of the best meals I've ever had as well! The fish was amazing, the RICE was amazing. You hear about sushi chefs having to train for years to get the rice right. Until now I haven't quite understood why that would be, but NOW I DO. Going forth I probably won't be able to enjoy "regular" sushi again. Service was extraordinary; there were 3 sushi chefs serving a full house (12 seats I believe?) with one of the chefs serving only my party of three. The host was fully present as well but not obtrusive to make sure we were taken care of. Seating is just at the sushi counter, but you don't feel crowded. It was an unforgettable meal and one I look forward to enjoying again.

You can't beat the lunch price anywhere in NYC. Hosted by very polite staff. All the fish are fresh and delicious. It's a cozy restaurant and very easily accessible. If we had more appetites, will definitely try the additional dish.

Awesome lunch omakase! $50/person for 9 pieces (including a small app and hand roll). It's very close to the American Natural History Museum. It's easy to get a lunch resy at the 10 (12?) seater counter. The space is limited but is well decorated. The waiter and chef provided excellent service in the small space. Each peace had a unique texture or flavor. I especially loved the Hokkaido Scallop, and Otoro. They even had amberjack and mackerel. I usually don't love mackerel but this one was so smooth. Their homemade ginger cubes really helped cleanse between pieces.

For entrees, we shared the crab cake and the fish and chips both of which were very tasty. Bottom line, the food and service were excellent.

The attention to every meticulous element, from pacing to presentation, created a dining experience that felt truly special. The meal itself was extraordinary. Each course was not only beautifully executed but deeply flavorful and thoughtfully composed. The Mushroom Cappuccino was a perfect start rich, earthy, and comforting with incredible depth. The sweet potato with madeira reduction was a standout, balancing sweetness and richness with elegance. Le Royale was indulgent and refined, while the blue prawns were cooked to perfection delicate and bursting with flavor. Le Tropical brought a bright, refreshing contrast that tied the progression of the meal together beautifully. Even the bread service deserves recognition often overlooked, but here it was exceptional. Paired with the Winter Harvest Highball and the No. 3, the beverage program matched the food in both creativity and execution. What truly elevated the evening was having the pleasure of meeting Chef Christophe and touring the kitchen. He was incredibly down to earth, and his philosophy about food thoughtful, intentional, and rooted in passion clearly shines through in every dish. Every bite was delicious, every detail intentional. This is dining at the highest level refined, memorable, and truly deserving of its Michelin star. I can't wait to return.

The setting is contemporary with a touch of French flair, highlighted by large floral arrangements, and the service was attentive and flawless over the course of our three-hour meal. Two of us chose the 4-course tasting menu and two went for the 7-course, and the kitchen executed both formats seamlessly at the same table. Two diners opted for the wine pairings, while the others enjoyed cocktails and additional glasses of wine, all thoughtfully matched to the dishes. The evening was spectacular from start to finish, with no weak courses. Standouts included the sashimi, frogs' legs, scallops, beef cap, and squab, each beautifully prepared and memorable. With tip, the total came to about $1,800 for four, which we felt was good value for the quality, service, and overall experience. Surprisingly, most guests were dressed business casual, so the atmosphere felt relaxed rather than stuffy.

None of the dishes were a miss: Tostada Ensenada (4/5): Was she a tad petite for $27? Perhaps. Was she overflowing with seafood? Pretty damn close, because I was not disappointed and in fact had many juicy chunks of shrimp and octopus on that tostada. Baked Clams (5/5): I mean, chorizo, garlic, breadcrumbs - literally all I could dream for in a baked clam. Would order a whole platter of them if I could. Branzino a las Brasas (4/5): taste-wise, the fish itself was pretty bland, but texture-wise it was perfectly moist, and the cook on it made for the silkiest and softest fillet. Now what REALLY exceeded our expectations were the TORTILLAS that came with the branzino. Nothing complex, but it was the best tortilla I've ever had. Fideo Seco (5/5): did not expect pasta to steal the spotlight, but this was undeniably delicious. There's something about that cream sauce, which worked really well with the lobster. The fideo pasta they use is also so fascinating, like smaller strands of angel hair. Passionfruit sorbet (4/5): I love passionfruit so you can't go wrong with this - refreshingly tangy and acidic, maybe could've been a little less icy imo. Molten chocolate cake (5/5): didn't expect to splurge on dessert but did not regret it - the chocolate was so decadent without being overpoweringly sweet + moist cake! The interior is clean and has a rustic charm to it, would definitely recommend for a nice dinner date. Service was super attentive and friendly, really appreciated that - would love to come back when my wallet recovers!

It's definitely a more elevated take on Mexican coastal cuisine. Fideo Seco (4.5/5): The highlight of the night. The creaminess paired with the lobster was great. Grilled Octopus (4.25/5): cooked just right and paired with a unique, crispy sweet potato which made it fun to eat. Baked Clams (4/5): Delicious, though $21 for only 5 pieces felt a bit steep. Fajitas Nortenas (4/5): The steak could have been more tender, but the flavor was great--especially when paired with their excellent corn tortillas. Tacos de Langosta (4/5): A solid taco, but not exactly a "must-order." For $28, getting only two tacos felt a bit steep for what it was Skip the Drinks: Both the Watermelon Margarita and Passion Fruit Mojito felt overly strong and lacked a unique flavor profile Save Room for Dessert: Surprisingly impressive! The Chocolate Molten wasn't overly sweet, and the Strawberry Flan featured rhubarb that paired perfectly with the custard. A great spot for a high-end seafood dinner, though the drinks didn't quite live up to the food.
