I only order the sticky mango since I had lunch next door I was so excited to have it but wasn't good at all so disappointing, rice was regular they just put a thick sauce on top the mango was ripe and super sweet was the only good the rice was inedible and I have had tons of it

    Thai Basil Chicken over Rice

My bf and I love coming here for their Thai Basil Chicken/Pad Krapow! They always give a generous portion and it's the best I've had from various Thai places in Oc. Their Thai tea is always delicious as well! All of their items are well priced for the amount of food as well. Pad See Ewe with tofu or shrimp or beef is another option we get from here often.

TDLR: It's food court Chinese food. Don't expect anything amazing and just expect to be fed. Mixed chow mien: Inconsistent noodle texture, poor mix on the wood as I've had bites of noodle that look anemic compared to others, and you immediately know that spot just missed the soy sauce. The proteins and vegetables were fine. Ambiance: It's a food court. Nothing too different from what we see all over the world. Service: The expectations here are low given the store front looked like they were out of business. A cashier bell and a note that says to ring it are the only 2 things from convincing people that the place is closed. The lady who rang me up was nice. Simple transaction, nothing too different from the norm.

1st time trying this place. My co worker suggested we order from here and he can pick up. Since they are only 5 minutes away from our office. He suggested Pad Thai, and I got the spicy beef pad Thai. Price wise its very cheap. In Irvine area you wont find a total $12 lunch option. The portion was even good for 2 people. But to be honest not a very healthy option. It was very greasy. But tasted good of course. Tough to say if I ever get food from them.

I got the yellow curry and the pad Thai. The curry itself tastes bad and the chicken is poor quality. Couldn't even finish the food

    Beef pad see ewe
    Seijyun S.

Apple Pay accepted Portions, veggies, meat, noodle are very generous with even strong spicy taste (medium). This is the first place out of hundreds restaurants that offer extreme amount of veggies in pad see ewe it's worth a Shot on just see how much veggies they throw. Taste and flavor as well as spiciness are compared to NONE, even medium spicy means extra spicy in other restaurant. This is like for those who like to feel "kick" in lunch time so you are ready to get out of boredom of morning routing. Take my words, try it. Make sure to order water/drink because you will need it.

very solid pad thai! i got the spiciest level which was soo good. not as sour as some others i've had but otherwise very good! chicken was good & portion size made it even more worth the price. the cream cheese wontons were alright but tasted good with their sauce. would definitely come again! service was fast (less than 10 min & she was very nice)

    Basil Chicken over Rice, yum!

I enjoy their Basil Chicken Over Rice w/ medium spice. It's my go-to if I can't decide what I really want. Give it a try. You won't regret it ^-^

My go-to late night takeout place! It's called express for a reason...I don't think I could ever sit and dine here. No offense, it's just that it's more of a food court type of place. Lots of times, they don't even pick up the phone or sometimes it's deserted out in front of the cashier...so I've learned not to have too much expectations...as long as they meet my food expectations. And they certainly meet those expectations. For a reasonable cost, their dishes come with at least 2 portions worth of food. Both their pad thai and pad see ew are pretty good, and both beef and tofu have been past ordered items that did not disappoint. You can also opt for a spicy option which is a nice change once in a while. Their thai tea is probably one of my favorites in the area, so be sure to try that too if you're tuning in. In short, don't come here looking for service or quality customer attention. It seems like most of their negative reviews stem from those issues. Instead, take it at its face value, and I think this place will pleasantly surprise you.

Since it's a vegetarian restaurant, I was excited to give it a try, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. We ordered three different tacos, and they were all delicious. My absolute favorite was the Beer Battered Avocado Taco. It was packed with flavor, perfectly crispy on the outside, and the creamy avocado inside made every bite amazing. If no one told me it was vegetarian, I probably wouldn't have even noticed because it was that satisfying. We also tried their house-made Fig Vanilla Iced Tea, which was so refreshing and unique. It paired perfectly with the tacos and was a great choice for a warm California afternoon. To start, we ordered the chips and guacamole, which were fresh, light, and the perfect snack while waiting for our food. Everything tasted fresh and made with quality ingredients. We sat outside under the large umbrellas, and the outdoor seating area had such a relaxing atmosphere. It almost felt like we were having a little picnic while enjoying the beautiful weather and people watching around The LAB. The service was also fantastic. Our server was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. Whether you're vegetarian, vegan, or just looking to try something different, this spot is definitely worth checking out!

Cocktails are super good! And they don't skimp on the alcohol. Went with the French 75, ever unique with the ginger pear! 2. The puff bread is a must! It's so fluffy and the thyme butter is delicious! 3. The mussels were good as well! They used a unique curry lobster sauce and it was delicious! My only complaint was that the bread was burnt/charred and very hard. They brought out new bread for us, it was softer but tasted a little stale. 4. They were out of the Branzino and the sea bass crudo (2 items we wanted to try). But went with the chicken. Super juicy and the aji sauce was pretty good. It came with quinoa as well. I usually never order chicken at an upscale restaurant but since they were out of the items I wanted to try I went with it. Not something I would order again to be honest, but it was definitely good. 5. The seafood risotto is a must! Amazing and one of the best I've had! Came with blue crab, shrimp, and lobster! 6. Went with the peach butter cake for dessert. Good flavor! But the butter cake itself was not as soft/moist as I hoped. Mastros butter cake has set the bar, and I am always comparing butter cakes to Mastros. But definitely worth a try! Overall, really enjoyed the dinner, even with some bumps, waitress was super accommodating and checked on us often!
