I was pleasantly surprised, even after reading the reviews. There were a couple of misses, but the food was actually good. My peanut chicken with brown rice had plenty of peanut sauce and a good selection of vegetables swimming in the sauce. The yellow curry was perhaps a little too spicy for my dining companion, but he carried on despite his nose running. We used to go to this place frequently when it had first opened. We loved it back then. It had been a while since I had returned and I did a few months back on a whim. I came home to find a metal piece in my food from the dish scrub. Of course I called and complained and they refunded my money for that item. I told myself I would never go back however, today my family decided to grab a quick lunch. Management has changed and it has taken a turn for the worse. The lady at the cashier clearly had no idea what she was doing and could not operate the cash register or credit card system. Secondly, we ordered an item on the menu, we paid for it, and a few minutes later they came back to tell us they did not have that item available. Not a good look for new management. Lastly, we decided to order some soup and the price listed on the menu was one price and the one we were charged was a higher price. We questioned this and the lady responded with an answer that wasn't satisfying. They had two menus in the entire restaurant with different prices for the same item. They are obviously disorganized and not ready to serve customers. Instead of letting this mistake slide and giving us the lower priced item, she still charged us the higher amount. On a side note, this was a Thai restaurant and is still called "Thai Box" however, they are serving some indian food. They need to work on a lot of aspects before expecting to gain new or retain old customers. They have definitely lost us as a customer for good. read more

It gets one star for still being in business. 4 adults and 1 child had lunch; all of which felt ill after due to the poor quality of food and copious amounts of MSG. Additionally, food was not delivered timely nor together so our family was not able to enjoy the experience at all. For example, the appetizers were brought out after the adult main courses and the children's meal was delivered last. Just ordered delivery today because I was craving some good pad thai. I paid 2$ extra for shrimp but literally got only 2 pieces of shrimp! (1$ per very medium-small sized shrimp is OVER PRICED). The Pad Thai was very good. It wasn't too dry or wet. It had a hint of fish sauce which I like in my Pad Thai.We got the level 4 on the spiciness scale. We thought it was mild. Went in and ordered a pad Thai plate...was very disappointed with the taste. Right away you can tell that it's not fresh or homemade. It taste like it was prepackaged food that was dumped in the pan. My wife and I love to come we usually get the pad thai special on date nights because it's so AFFORDABLE! It's Delicious, Cheep and they give you SO MUCH FOOD. I dont want anyone to know about how amazing this place is so I can eat all their food myself. I believe the cashier is the owner of the restaurant and he is always so friendly and gives you attention if it's slow or busy. I am very disappointed at the customer service i was just provided over the phone. An employee by the name of Su had answered the phone. I told her about our experience with the food we had ordered the other day. She seemed to created reasons as to why i couldn't have the order remade since it wasn't the same day. She then told me she had to talk to the manager. When i asked when they would be in i was told that she didn't know, and would have them call me. She then hung up on me and didn't take my information. I wasn't sure if there was called ID or not to be able to know who i was. So I honestly thought this was a good idea because it delivered with UberEats and it had a good rating. I ordered the PadKewMow, I ate it and an hour or two later, I felt this searing pain in my stomach. Went to the bathroom about 7 different times within 5 hours. I don't know what happened but the last time this happened, it was E.Coli with Popeyes, so my best bet, they didn't cook their meat right or they didn't cook it at all, just pulled it from yesterday's batch and then heated it up in the microwave. We used to love eating at Thai Box- The food was great and our orders were always spot on. The last couple times, it's been negative experience after negative experience. The Tahi Tea has been "out" our last two times we've been in. In addition, tonight our order was all sorts of messed up. My husband and I both ordered white rice, and received fried rice instead. My husband ordered the orange chicken, and had maybe 4 pieces of chicken. I ordered the peanut butter chicken, and none of my veggies seemed fully cooked. I miss the old Thai Box... I called to see if chef has been changed, but they said no. It was salty as hell and was hard to eat. Can't believe this place is going downhill so fast like this. I will never go back.
