The food is very good and tasty ! First time here. Luckily I got here early (around 5 Pm or sooner) to order inside for take out. (they have no web page, only what you see on their Yelp page photos of menu) The place was full of sit down customers enjoying it seems, large portions of menu food items. While waiting for my take order (Was told 25 mins, I guess for either cook-staff shortage and that they were really busy serving customers) Wait Staff very nice. This Place is "Very Clean" from what I saw, so that's a Big Plus ! Parking is plentiful so long as you get there early, as there are other restaurants and businesses near by that share. From what I saw, they get very busy with either Big Groups of People coming thru the door or Big Families coming in to dine and eat, so forget about calling during their busy dining hours as they barely have time to seat walk in customers or walk in takeway customers orders. Wait staff do answer the telephone when they can and when not so busy (so with ringing off the hook telephone, I can see way some think that this place has the appearance of being closed is understood, so just drive there!) Again, This Place is Very Clean in Appearance, so I am hopeing the Kitchen is too. We will order from Thai Café again. Pad See Ew (4/5): one of the best pad see ews I've had, I got the beef with it and I liked the use of Chinese broccoli. Pad Thai (3/5): huge portion, could use more flavor. Green Curry (4/5): really delicious, medium spicy was the perfect amount of heat. Didn't like that I had to pay extra for rice when other places give you rice with the curry. Pineapple Fried Rice (3/5): good, but nothing special about it. Crying Tiger (2/5): sauce that comes with it is way too spicy. Garlic Beef (4/5): can't go wrong with this flavorful dish. We got the shrimp pad thai, yellow curry, combo fried rice, chicken satay, green curry, and tom yum soup- it was all amazing. Everything was made fresh to order and was still hot by the time we brought it home. My favorite dish was definitely the shrimp pad thai. The dish is not too dry or oily, and the flavor is amazing. It comes topped with fresh bean sprout, chopped peanuts, carrots, and a wedge of lime (SUCH A GREAT ADDITION!!!) I also love that there are chunks of fried tofu. Second fave is the combo fried rice which comes with a generous portion of meat/shrimp. A great safe option for kids/picky eaters. I think eating spicy food is the favorite thing I love to do. Spicy food has always been one of my favorites ever since I was a young kid here my dad used to make me spicy food on the weekends because my mom would never be home. She would never let us eat spicy food because she thought it was too hot for us but my dad always made it for us. I love coming here for dinner or even for to go orders. My favorites are pad kee mow, spicy chicken basil fried rice, and tom yum soup. Their pad thai and pad see ew is also pretty good and the chicken skewers are just okay. I'd recommend coming in with group of friends to share everything family style :) They can get pretty busy sometimes to be prepared to wait if you are coming at the prime business time. I'm a huge fan of spicy so be warned if you aren't able to handle spicy because their spicy level actually packs a punch. This place is dirty!! They do their dishes outside! The bubbles in the wall and ceiling is from water leaks. I once saw a bubble 3 ft wide full of water and they kept it there forever. I saw eyebrow or eyelashes hair in my rice! I ordered Coconut soup w/chicken. The lady brought me some other kind of soup. I told her I'm sorry that's not what I ordered. The lady was started yelling all the way back to the kitchen and was yelling for like 5 minutes. She told me next time make sure u speak clearly and order the right one. One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Orange County. I am always craving the pad thai noodles and the house special fried rice. The food is authentic Thai food and fresh. If mangoes are in season I would highly recommend the mango sticky rice dessert. Another one of my favorite dish is the basil chicken I ordered medium spicy and it's got some heat to it. There are plenty of goodies in it! The chicken was very tender and not hard like a lot of chicken in other soups, and there was a Lot of it! I would say that it is between True Thai spicy and Western spicy. (it's not as napalm burn in and napalm death out Thai spicy at their "mild" but it's more than normal Western spicy.) The angel wings are a Thai version of fried chicken except the bones are gone and the wings are stuffed with pork and other tasty things. What I like most is the service. For the weak, like me, they are willing to make their curries mild. I don't eat curry at other Thai places even though it's my favorite because it can be too spicy. They are also willing to switch out the meat for the meat, seafood, or tofu of your choice in many of their dishes. Just ask! It's a boon for people like me who feel you can have chicken at home. The flavors here are on point in comparison with all of the thai restaurants in this area. The reason I did not give it a 5 star is because the wait for the food to come out is really long and sometimes the service is rushed and hard to get ahold of. Me and mycwife couldn't finish one of dish we ordered. We had Pineapple fried rice and a regular pad thai. Both dish are delicious. But what disappointed was the pineapple fried rice. It used to had a whole dish pineapple scooped out the fruit and place in with the pineapple fried ice in it.
