Excellent food! We came from California which has a variety of Thai food. This place tops them all with fresh ingredients!

The buffet was on the small side but the food was fresh and tasty. The service was good and the staff were friendly. Luckily we got there about fifteen minutes after the buffet started because it quickly got busy and a line was forming. The restaurant is small and tables are limited. On the second go round, start where you finished the first time and keep going until you have tried EVERYTHING on the menu! Not a big fan of buffets but when a place posts buffet etiquette rules I'm game. Great food choices with plenty of variety my favorite was the beef salad but everything else was quite tasty. Great service and overall clean place. The only two issues were the plates were kind of small and the ventilation was lacking it was a bit warm inside. I've been going here for years. The flavors of this Thai food is amazing... The other day I arrived to a bright clean environment. The prices are still the same about $10.99 for the lunch buffet. I started with some delicious Tom Kha soup. I believe that's what you call it the chicken noodle soup with a coconut milk base. My main plate consisted of couple of spring rolls, fried tofu, pad Thai, some very delicious thai beef salad, and a side bowl of panang red curry. One of the hidden gems here is the fried mushrooms with basil. Amazing flavor... I went back for some sticky rice, cucumber salad, and for dessert I had that delicious squash or pumpkin in coconut milk. So I've been going to this place for 20years now and the food only gets better. After their return from their hiatus, I finally got to a chance to try their new menu and it sure made for a great experience. The family and I started with greeting and catching up with the owner and family after not seeing each other for so long. This is a family restaurant and a joyful wholesome vibe. The service is always exceptional and they are always attentive (it's clear to see with any customer I observe at the restaurant). We started off with some appetizers. The combo rolls was a new option with 3 spring rolls and 3 cheese rolls. Served hot and delicious, the cheese rolls were flaky and crunch and the spring rolls were packed full of goodies and even had a sweet undertone which was a pleasant surprise. Also, ordered the Fishcakes. Huge portions the subtly flavorful and with a great coloring. Presentation was pleasant across the board. I suggest asking for a side of Thai BBQ sauce to add, goes great with everything especially the spring and cheese rolls. The family ordered their meals all with the attempt to share due to the portions being enormous. These are family style portions and really allow for all to experience multiple plates in one sitting. Among the entrees ordered we had the Eggplant dish, Pad Thai(of course), Suki Soup(pictured), and the Suki Dish(suki soup without broth). Can be ordered to preferred spice level. All delicious and fresh. Heaping plate of eggplant with a savory sauce, Pad Thai was delicious as always and unique for their recipe. The Suki was a new item for us but was specifically flavorful and carried its own spice level, which I found super enjoyable. As always the food and service are amazing. Even though I've been a loyal customer for so long, I objectively recommend this place to any person seeking a flavorful dinner. For those less adventurous for authentic Thai food, they do serve some American-Chinese dishes with their own twist to help those along. Personally, I am extremely excited to their lunch buffet so I can sample the rest of their new menu. Very happy to have my go to restaurant back and hope for their continued success. read more

Great tasting and generous portions. Wanted Pad Thai with No pepper spice and they accommodate me with no issues.

We have always enjoyed and respected this restaurant for years. They recently brought back the buffet and we were excited. A new sign was posted stating "we can charge gratuity to any size party". We brought our whole family and payed around $175 assuming the gratuity was included. Upon our next visit, 3 weeks later, only 4 people this time, they charged $14 tip to our bill. They said they forgot to charge last time so they added the tip to this bill. There was no way to prove this so we calmly asked why so high. They told us they'll refund the tip but they no longer want our business. They're the ones who made a mistake and they took it out on us. We can never return to a restaurant who treats us like this. I recommend everyone to have them explain their MANDATORY tip policy before eating. read more

This is a hidden San Antonio Thai food gem. The Thai Tea was delicious. We started off with the spring roll and cheese roll appetizer. The cheese rolls were fresh and tasty. The crispy spring rolls were very flavorful. Followed by the Tom Yum soup which was very spicy! Wow! Glad I got the Thai Tea! Balanced that out great. I mean I grew up eating jalapeños, green Hatch chile, chile Rojo, all kinds of chile but this was another level. You have been warned or challenged whatever does it for you. Try it. We ordered the Pad Thai Chicken and the Pad Kar Ree Gai which is off menu but if you ask nicely... The service was wonderful. Everything was so delicious. There is something about this sticky white rice. So simple but awesome. If I don't post again it's probably because I lost my life fighting over the leftovers! Come and see for yourself. There was no tofu in my pad Thai.. if you look at the menu it states: stir fried rice noodles with choice of meat, bean sprouts, green onions, TOFU and crushed peanuts. My favorite part is the tofu & on top of that, there were egg shells in my pad Thai Other than the pad Thai (which is my favorite to eat so yes it's a big deal to me...) Very pleased with our dining experience. The atmosphere was a bit lacking, but the cafe was clean and COVID protocols were in place. We had spring rolls for our appetizer. They were crisp and tasty...sweet and sour sauce was very good. My husband had the pad Thai...excellent with a delicate underlying flavor - yum! I had the Pad see eew. I my son and I enjoyed stoping by after a morning at the zoo. Everything we tried at the buffet line was delicious. I would come here more often if it was not a drive away. This place is GREAT! I came in with my mom late on a Monday evening. We ordered the cheese rolls and egg rolls. Both being very delicious and served with lettuce so you could wrap them and dip on to the sweet and sour sauce. Our entrees were the pineapple fried rice and suki dry noodles. The pineapple fried rice was seasoned generously and the pineapple was obviously fresh, adding a perfect amount of sweetness. The suki dry noodles were spiced perfectly and served with succulent shrimp and tender octopus. I loved everything and can't wait to try out their lunch buffet!
