First, I tried calling to place a takeout order. I literally called the number 15 times because it was busy each time. Once I finally got through, they left me on hold for 15 minutes without even taking my order. While on hold, I drove to the location and hung up once I walked in. Once I was inside of the restaurant, it took them 5 minutes to even acknowledge my presence and for me to simply say I wanted to place an order to go. Horrible service. Was sat at a dirty table. Waited 5 minutes. A couple came in after us and server wiped down their table at which point I asked if our table could be wiped down as well. Drink order placed. Placed our food order and the couple that came in afterwards ended up walking out after they were not greeted. Ordered spring rolls, put together very messy and each roll had one shrimp in them. Received our entrees, they were mediocre. Both of my daughters sweet tea were refilled with unsweet tea. This is one of my favorite restaurants and definitely the best restaurant in Schertz. I have been working in the area for 15 years and I was so excited when this restaurant opened. The best Thai dishes for sure but also the BEST SUSHI. I've no had a lot of fresher and better prepared Escolar. Spicy Salmon Roll is a great deal and delicious. Have a bento box lunch. Sushi is Japanese food...not thai. Buuuut, for the jazzed up rolls they have it is pretty darn good. A small group of women and myself frequent this place...and love it. We have tried almost every roll. Their signature roll w the strawberry is ok, spider and rainbow have never been my favorite. We love the cibolo roll. My fav is the aviation roll with NO cream cheese and the vegetable tempura roll (has a women's name I cant recall). I could eat those all night long. We love the server and owner! The thai food is pretty good too. The pad kee mao flavor was off, but the tom ka gai is amazing. All and all pretty good. read more

This place was fantastic! Very clean inside, staff was on top of orders and drinks. Cups never went below half before staff came by for refills. Food was incredibly fresh. The restaurant is in a great location with plenty of parking. As I entered I was welcomed but the hostess, who was really sweet and took care of me with no issue. I ordered a papaya salad, bento box with egg drop soup, and a Thai tea. Everything I ordered came out with lots of flavor and I had no complaints! Sooooo good. I've gone there a few times since moving to Cibolo. Love their curry options especially the chef curry. Really solid sushi for a Thai place, their best is the salmon nigiri....it's like butter in your mouth. They don't sell liquor yet but you can BYOB from LOL liquor in the same complex! read more

Well, this is the 3rd visit. The quality has gone down hill and fallen off the cliff. The noodles were clearly microwaved as they lifted in one mass. The mushrooms have gone from caps to shards, the peppers have have gotten smaller, the chicken seemed like it was processed. I won't be back here. This was horrible. read more

I was really, I mean REALLY craving Tom Kha Gai soup (the spicy coconut milk, lemongrass lime soup with chicken) and the other place I usually go to was busy, like the phone was busy, so I decided to try this place Thai Chef. As a cook myself and have always had authentic Thai food, the soup and the summer/spring rolls were honestly disgusting! Who puts avocados in the soup?! There is ZERO lemongrass, zero galangal, and zero spices. All it was coconut milk and chicken with some mushrooms and avocado!! Plus the Thai Tea is BITTER! I seriously want my money back. I couldn't even eat it and I'm still hungry. I can't believe ppl actually eat here. So much for wanting to take a break from cooking....I guess I'll have to make my own Tom Kha Gai. We went here the other night and found our new favorite place, or so we thought. Had the soy Noodles, 2 great rolls made with soy paper. We enjoy soy paper allow the family to taste the essence of the roll. Order to go the very next night and was told we don't make soy paper wrapped rolls. Informed them they made them last night. Was informed yes and the chef got mad for having to make them because they were too difficult to make. We are bummed we have start our search again until they find a chef who is willing to learn the art of sushi rolls. Just had the Thai Chef Curry with shrimp and it was very tasty. A bit of heat to it but nothing too overpowering. I'd most def get it again. This place offers a lot but their curry dishes are becoming my favorite. Also love their summer rolls and gyoza. read more

I ordered tofu paht thai last night. I was pretty excited about it. Many of the reviews raved how awesome it is. After taking a two bites, it almost made me want to vomit. This place is clean, welcoming, and the food is pretty good. In fact, it would have gotten 4 stars if it wasn't for the super slow service. The speed of service is very important to those who wish to eat here on their lunch break and only have an hour to do so. For example, it could take 10 minutes to have the waitstaff greet you and ask you what you want to drink and then another 5-10 minutes to actually get the drinks even if they are just waters. Attentiveness to the table is also lacking and getting your check at the end takes at least 15min if not longer. Another very odd thing is that this restaurant does not offer regular sugar at the table and you can't even ask for it. We just relocated to the area after being in Houston for 6 years and was delighted to find such an amazing Thai restaurant so close to home! This is a small but well appointed restaurant. The atmosphere is intimate if a bit crowed. The decor is warm and friendly as are the staff. Our first visit will not be our last as we saw so much on there Thai/Japanese/American Chinese menu that caught our attention. This is the fourth spot my husband and I have tried and we think we found our new sushi spot. The drinks are a bit over priced but the sushi was amazing. We tried 5 different rolls that night and only one we didn't like. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is we went on a Saturday and it was super busy with what looked to be only two waiters working.
