Really good Phat Thai! The Thai spring rolls are super tasty (could have kept ordering those) and the Sushi is fresh. My youngest loves sushi, and she said we need to come here everyday! She also said that she loved that it was quiet and the music was soft. That goes a long way, when most places now a days, are super loud and have way too much stimulation. They do have TVs playing but they have no sound and are cooking shows, which makes you hungrier. Over all we were really happy to find this Gem of a restaurant so close to Seguin (Cibolo is only a short hop). Really loved this stop off, and will be back in the future. Great place. read more

Lets break this down to one word, Fantastic. I have had Thai and Thai fusion food all around the country and 100's of times in Los Angeles. This was the best food I have had in a long long tIme. The two of us had Pot Stickers and California Roll, they were real good. Then comes the Druken noodles with shrimp an Thai chicken plate with fried rIce. Excellent We were going to have pizza and wings around the corner but they were closed on Monday. Happened to see the restaurant and decided to give it a go, good choice. This place is a hidden gem. It's located in a new shopping plaza in the corner. Food and service was delicious surprisingly. I didn't have high expectations since I haven't found a decent Thai/ Sushi Place in San Antonio. The sushi was pretty good I really liked the Schertz roll and it was fried to perfection! I would also recommend the Thai Fried Spring Rolls they remind me a lot of Vietnamese egg rolls. I do not recommend getting the pad Thai it's very very sweet, however the server didn't have an issue with exchanging the plate for something else on the menu which I really appreciated. Thai Chef's chicken pad Thai, second to none... I ordered the lunch special pad Thai with chicken for $7.95 with soup. I got egg drop which was piping hot like I like it. It was a little salty but not as thick as other places or gloppy. The pad Thai, which they ask you if you want it spicy or not, came out in about 4 minutes. The noodles were perfectly cooked and delicious. The peanuts are served on the side. The servers were friendly and greet you the minute you walk in the door. We placed a to-go order last night, and the food was pretty good. I got Tiger Cry for the first time from this place. It's normally one of my favorite Thai dishes. That being said- the sauce that came along with it was way different from what I'm used to having at any other Thai place. It was not really edible, it was simply a mix of spicy, very salty and lacked the classic ground toasted sweet rice, fresh herbs, and fresh lime juice that really does make the sauce! The chicken was prepared with the perfect seasoning and cooked perfectly. The white rice was cooked right. The mixed veggies were fresh and tasty. The fried spring was very good, it was the first to go. The portions were just right for lunch. I'm a big eater, this lunch was more than enough. Ok now for dinner, I ordered the Drunken noodle dish. I instantly became I will order this many times over. Its seasoning was so tasty. Chicken was grilled which gives it a great flavor. I will just stop here. So excited to find this sushi bar SO close to home!! Our first visit was amazing and we can wait to go back! We started with seaweed salad, crab rangoons, and Tom Hum soup. First, the dining room is small, but it's very quaint and well decorated. And, the wait staff was extremely friendly as they took our to-go order and offer refreshments while we waited a reasonable time for our food. Upon arriving at home, I quickly dove into my standard Thai dish which is the combination Phad woon sent - glass noodles, egg, vegetables, and meat. The dish was seasoned and prepared well. The noodles were coated with specks of egg and chili peppers, and the meat variables were well represented. Also, my wife enjoyed her chicken Pad Thai and finished most of it that evening which is a feat in itself. First, I tried calling to place a takeout order. I literally called the number 15 times because it was busy each time. Once I finally got through, they left me on hold for 15 minutes without even taking my order. While on hold, I drove to the location and hung up once I walked in. Once I was inside of the restaurant, it took them 5 minutes to even acknowledge my presence and for me to simply say I wanted to place an order to go. Sushi is Japanese food...not thai. Buuuut, for the jazzed up rolls they have it is pretty darn good. A small group of women and myself frequent this place...and love it. We have tried almost every roll. Their signature roll w the strawberry is ok, spider and rainbow have never been my favorite. We love the cibolo roll. My fav is the aviation roll with NO cream cheese and the vegetable tempura roll (has a women's name I cant recall). I could eat those all night long. We love the server and owner! This is one of my favorite restaurants and definitely the best restaurant in Schertz. I have been working in the area for 15 years and I was so excited when this restaurant opened.
