It was simple but good. It tasted good so I cannot make too much of a complaint. The rice is rice. The chicken was chicken. It didn't have any seasoning but of course it came with a brown sauce for the flavor. The chicken wasn't cooked on high enough temperature to get the traditional wok hai in Asian cuisine. The brown sauce was thin so it barely coated the chicken but it tasted good. The vegetables in the stir fry was crisp and fresh and cooked just right. Overall it will not blow you out of the water but it tastes good so I wouldn't be opposed to coming back. The staff as incredibly friendly and so that alone makes me want to visit more. Getting true customer service where one is very happy you visited them is rare but it is standard here. The service was quick so it's a great spot for a quick lunch that isn't too expensive.

Nothing really good to say here, the dish was subpar, stir fry that was presented more like soup. I would not go back here.

The food was actually amazing to me. I got Green Vegetable Curry and LOVED it! The service is what was off in my opinion. There was one hostesses serving 5 tables on a rainy Saturday afternoon. I am also bias that they don't serve alcohol. Besides that, it was tasty, just wouldn't go back!

Ordered the panang curry and Tom yum soup with shrimp (small). The panang curry taste was pretty good. However, I deducted stars for portion to price ratio. It was the smallest portion of curry and rice I have ever had. I was okay with it because I thought I was getting the lunch portion until I received the bill and was charged $16. When I got clarification on the portion I was served, it was the regular menu price/portion because they do not do lunch specials on weekends. There were two pieces of red pepper and 4 pieces of green pepper and a lot of chicken, there wasn't enough rice. I wish there were more peppers and rice and that it was priced accordingly. I deducted more stars for the "spicy shrimp soup" for which we ordered a small. When it came to the table the scent of fish oil was so strong, it smelled terrible. Then my partner who ordered this dish didn't finish because there was just way too much fish oil. He loves Tom yum and always finishes his soup at other places so for him to barely eat half was enough for me to write about it. Overall, there are other places around the area that serve much tastier Thai with the appropriate portion/price ratio. I would skip this place.

Dishonest restaurant. You should honor the deals you advertise to the public. Will never try them.

After my son had swim class in the same shopping center we popped in Thai Chili early for take-away. The folks helping us were very helpful and kind--they even laughed when my son hopped behind the register to help the gal ring up our order. Food was very tasty, too. We will go back soon!

After being a patron for over 20 years, this place has bottomed out. I'm pretty sure it's now under new ownership; probably another restaurant that couldn't recover from covid. Bottom line: The food is no longer as good; it's inconsistent. Example: Ordered Spicy Basil with Chicken; had to send bacl because "chef" forgot to add basil. Prices are ironically much higher. Service is now slow and shoddy. A server was wotking a mop and bucket only steps away from us while we ate. Nice... Oh well. It had a good run.

We didn't feel like cooking dinner and originally intended on takeout but once we walked in we changed our minds. Because of the snow it was only half full. The ambience is great. Beautiful decor and a hushed environment conducive to conversation. We ordered larb, spicy pork, and vegetarian parang coconut curry. Food and service were impeccable. Portion sizes were in line with prices. Service is a consistent point at this restaurant. We recommend this place!

We got: - Chicken Satay: The chicken itself was so believable, stringy and smoky! And crunchy (though I'm used to satay meat being grilled). The sauce was tasty too- peanut-y, sweet, hint of curry. However, for $8, I'd expect at least 4 skewers. - Shrimp Chow Kway Teow: CKT is one of my favorite noodle dishes ever, and Mamak's version certainly did it justice. The wok hei was so present, the noodles perfectly chewy, and the veggies (snow pea, onion, carrot, bean sprouts) well-cooked. The shrimp was insane, so bouncy and real-feeling. - Olive Fried Rice: Can't say I've ever had olive leaves before, this dish was delightful! Lots of great toppings (tofu, carrot, green bean, mushroom) that gave some textural diversity. - Black Pepper Beef: The black pepper essence was clearly distinguishable, but the sauce was too sweet for me. The beef was truly reminiscent of the actual thing. Lots of tasty veggies again (cauliflower, celery, jicama, carrot, bell pepper). Overall, taste-wise, all of the dishes were great; however, we did not feel portion sizes matched prices. Service could also stand to improve, with regards to attentiveness. To note, the restaurant is self-seating (I wish there was something that said this at the entrance). You can pay the bill via QR code, but there's a platform fee (I wonder if you could avoid that if you pay physically). Lots of parking available. 9/10 would recommend!

I was honestly quite surprised by how distinct each mock meat was. We got the: - BBQ Chicken Drumsticks: The drumsticks were thick, smoky, and slightly stringy- definitely reminiscent of real chicken. The sauce was on the sweeter side, but still tasty. - Teppan Tofu Bibimpak: Came out sizzling! The tofu was crispy on the outside, almost custard-like on the inside. The sauce was savory goodness. - Black Pepper Steak Udon: Steak was nicely chewy, udon well-cooked, strong pepper essence. - Truffle Fried Rice: Crazy enough, this might be the best fried rice I've ever eaten. Such a unique combination of ingredients including black truffle, avocado, pine nuts, chestnut, mushroom, and green beans. Cool presentation too. - BBQ Pork Fried Rice: Right amount of sweetness with good wok hei. - Tempura Shrimp Roll: Tasted classic, liked that it had fried enoki mushroom in addition to mock shrimp. Ambiance is casual and spacious, lots of parking up front. Service is fast and friendly. To note, they have an automatic 18% service charge. Also, if you spend $30 in one transaction, you get $10 VG cash for next time (no minimum purchase necessary, expires within 10 days). Honestly, I wouldn't hesitate to go back and try other dishes if it was a bit closer to my house. 10/10 would recommend!

Atlanta is so blessed to have a restaurant like this in its ranks now. If I could give more than 5…read morestars on this app, I'd be lighting it up! I went on a holiday, which was super busy, but even so, service was prompt and attentive. I ordered a pasaflora to drink, which had a beautiful flower in it, queso blanco with chips, al pastor mushroom tacos, chochoyotes, and flan for dessert. Every single dish was inspired, layered with flavor, creative, and truly unique. The presentation was also lovely and each bite felt thoughtful and well-executed. I would order everything a million times over! One thing that especially stood out was the flan's texture, which was silky, delicate, and perfectly balanced. I was also pleasantly surprised to see fried green tomatoes on the menu. It felt like such a special nod to the restaurant's Southern location, blending regional influence in a really cool way. The owner was super nice, which made the experience even better. The decor is gorgeous and so inviting, with intimate, cozy lighting. The whole space feels clean, artistic, and thoughtfully designed. This is an amazing date-night spot that I truly hope sticks around for a long, loooong time. Everything about the atmosphere and experience makes it perfect for a special evening out. I'm already planning to go back and explore more of the menu, but based on my first visit alone, I might even dare to say this is the best vegan restaurant in Atlanta. The jury's still out, but I'm more than happy to keep doing the research to confirm!! lol Last thing I'll say is that I was so grateful not to have to wade through a bunch of non-vegan menu options to figure I it what I could actually order. I also don't have to wonder if my food was being cooked next to a slab of dead animal, which is not the case most places I go. So, thank you for being ALL vegan. The food is so good that there is no chance a non-vegan will feel they've missed out on meat anyway. Logistical stuff: I saw a little bit of street parking, but not a ton. Parking in the deck is definitely the easiest option. You could theoretically bike/skate the Beltline and just walk a couple of blocks to get there. The space is on the smaller side, so I'd recommend making a reservation to be safe if you're visiting on a Friday/Saturday night.

La Semilla is a chic, pan-Latin vegan spot…read more The menu emphasizes replicating non-vegan flavors and taste profiles more than it leans in to offerings that are already vegetable forward. For example, guacamole is conspicuously absent from the menu. In its place, you'll find a creamy (still vegan) Queso Blanco. That's a bold choice, but the dupe delivers. My favorite taste dupe, however, is the crunch wrap. It is spot on. It tastes identical to the much more famous, much less vegan version.

Tassili's makes my favorite wraps of all time. I am not vegan but I absolutely love eating here…read more Their wraps are massive, delicious, and make me feel like I'm eating healthy too. I got the South of the Border wrap. The full size is enough for two people. It is stuffed with kale (I get the spicy one and it has a nice kick to it), avocado, black bean hummus, and couscous. I highly recommend! I usually order ahead of time and come to pick it up because service is slow. Online, it will say your order is ready in 10-15 minutes, but that is not true. Wait at least 30-45 minutes to pick it up. There were about four customers in line when I arrived but it moved as slow as molasses. I recommend ordering online if you don't have extra time to wait. Also know what you want when you arrive, it helps move the line a little quicker. This is a raw vegan restaurant that is known for their kale mix. You have your choice of wraps, spicy kale, mild kale or you can do a 50/50 blend. The spicy has heat which i love but I'm glad I did the 50/50, it was perfect. There is a free parking lot a few steps away from the business and it's large so you shouldn't have a problem finding parking. I had the south of the border with a chili wrap and all ingredients. I had the half size which was extremely large and enough for two people to share or enough for two days. It's such a beautiful wrap but personally not my favorite. All the ingredients were very fresh but it was something that I just didn't enjoy about it. Maybe it was the Moroccan couscous flavor. I'm willing to try another wrap and will probably go with the OG or Dat Ish. Prices were okay for the serving size you receive. There are tables outside. And the employees were all pleasant.
