Tried for the first time through door dash and as someone who has tried so many different Thai places, eats it all the time, and never writes reviews, I felt I had to review this place. I got the classics: phad thai and phad kee mao and both were extremely bland and basic, almost no flavor. I took a few bites of each dish and lost my appetite. If this place can't even do the classic Thai dishes at a decent level, i can't imagine what the rest would taste like. I would never recommend this place. read more

I've ordered here a total of 4 times. 3/4 i came to order takeout. i always get the chicken pad see ew there. it's actually really tasty and has that flavor i really like! luckily it's close by my house so i can say that it's a near by thai place for me to go to and order whenever i'm craving some thai food. THE ONLY THING that i'm not satisfied with is their portions. there are days where they add a lot of wide flat noodles as well as the chicken and veggies, there are some days where they don't add that much and the total is always 12 bucks. which i don't think is worth paying that much if i can easily take 5 bites and finish the whole thing. please fix your portions because it throws off the delicious dish. read more

The food here is fresh, and full of Thai flavor. The presentation of the food is nice as well. Everything on the menu was reasonably priced. The folks here are friendly and the service is good. if you like iced coffee you'll L-O-V-E their Thai Iced Coffee and Thai Iced Tea! Great flavor, smooth and delicious! Their food has great flavor as well. Food came out quick. It took less than 5 mins since I was the only customer at the restaurant. I ordered pad kee mao with chicken & 3 stars to go. When I got back to work to eat my food, I realized my order was not pad kee mao instead it was paid see ew. I was disappointed because I wanted pad kee mao. I didn't really enjoy the taste of the food. I asked for 3 stars and it tasted like there was no spice at all. Clearly, she didn't get my order right. Unsure if they didn't hear my spice request too or they forgot to add it. I gave it 2/5 stars because of getting my order wrong & the lack of food flavor. Yummy + affordable + friendly = fed and happy customer. One of my favorite places to eat in Kent - always delicious, and the folks are incredibly friendly. This is a convenient lunch spot or an easy dinner place, and I often use take out when I'm short on time. I love the Phad Thai (gotta have good Phad Thai) and the red curry is excellent. My big thing is Tom Kha Kai...most places do a fairly good job of making it. Thai Chili did not. The soup was very very watery, barely the essence of coconut milk. Many Thai restaurants serve a rich creamy coconut broth, this isn't one of those places :( hence the flavor was pretty bland. The soup was also very light on the chicken and mushrooms. Not to my dismay though, there wasn't much lemongrass and that other hard slices of the ginger type root that goes into the dish. If I had this alone, Thai Chili would only get one star. My partner, she had the Thai Beef Salad. Now that was good, and the dressing they used was very delicious, in fact I used the remains to pour into the Tom Kha Kai which actually eating the rest enjoyable! But the problem with the salad was that they were very stingy with the beef and the lettuce :( I've seen bigger side salads at a basic restaurant chain. Needless to say even though they pulled off a delicious tasting salad, this restaurant was just too stingy with the ingredients, so I won't be returning. read more

A lunch here with some coworkers earlier this week. Everyone enjoyed their food. I would say 3.5 stars. The service was outstanding. I had beef Pad Ke Mao. Yum! Had Thai Chili take out twice this past week, very busy with caring for mom. The food is delicious. Had a Steak Salad and Pad Thai. 3 stars was plenty hot for me, and I like spice. The staff is attentive and kind. The food is ready quickly. My new go to place when I need something wonderful. Very well priced. Highly recommended. This is my favorite Thai restaurant. They always have delicious food, a clean restaurant, and a friendly atmosphere. The BBQ pork with sticky rice is amazing and I love that spicy lime chili sauce that come with it. The red curry chicken and the garlic chicken are also winners. I've taken friends and family here and never been disappointed. I can't recommend the pad thai because I honestly hate pad thai but I've eaten almost every dish they make and I'm rarely disappointed. Don't forget to get a thai iced tea or if you like hot tea better the honey peach tea is phenomenal. read more

I've been here twice. The first time I got Penang curry. It was ok. Not bad but not great. So when a friend suggested it today I thought hmm maybe I'll try something else and see what I really think of this place. So I got the cashew chicken lunch special. It had a good flavor but that is where the good ended. The pad Thai that came with it was tasteless and mushy, purely inedible. Also ordered coffee. Wasn't in the mood for iced coffee so I asked for hot. Should have known by the look she gave me that this wasn't something they do well. It was so gross. Oddly sour. Likely an instant coffee. I tried putting a few extra packets of sugar. Nope. My friend got the iced coffee, she couldn't finish it because it was so sweet. Won't be coming here again. read more

I usually go to this restaurant with my husband and kids. I ordered it today for myself at work and had grubhub deliver it. Grubhub did great, but I got my order and opened it and I found that had made the order incorrect. I have no way of returning the order now. I asked for no ground peanuts in my chicken phad thai and it was put on there. If I had been one with peanut allergies, I would not have been able to eat it. The restuarant over all is a good restaurant but when ordering delivery, they need to be more careful on what is on the order. read more

I eat here a lot..I have lots and lots of experience with Thai food and being vegan and out of all of the tons of places I have ever been to this one does it really really well. I enjoy my meal here whether to-go or dining in but I prefer to dine in because of the very close proximity to my job and to also wind down on my lunch break. The ladies that work here are very understanding of no meat or animal products and I do not have to jump through hoops to get what I need to eat. Very reasonably priced for lunch menu and the service is exceptional whether getting to-go or dining in. Definitely recommend to any vegetarian or vegan to head over to Thai Chili!!! read more

One of the best Thai places besides Birdsnest in SFS, CA. I came here with my bf's sister-in-law and we decided to get a nice hot meal in the 20 degree weather. I ordered yellow curry with potato, carrot, chicken, and nuts. It was so delicious with a side of rice. The flavor was nice and spicy, and the curry was thick. I also ordered a hot thai tea which hit the spot. The place has a lot of thai statues and really clean, spacious, and quiet (at least the time I went). I spent less than $15 and had leftovers with the generous portions they serve. The service was great and the owner was really nice. So worth the pit stop. read more

Went there for lunch. Ordered the combo A, which is pad thai with swimming Rama and rice. First of all the phad Thai was so dry, there was barely any sauce mixed into it, and even if there was, it tasted like it came from a jar! As for the Rama, it was decent, but not the best. read more

I've driven passed this restaurant a few times, and it definitely stands out from anything else on the block. You can see through the windows and it's nicely decorated. So I invited my sisters out to eat here, we get there. We weren't even greeted, WAITED FOREVER as there is a sign that says wait to be seated. When a group of white women walked in, the workers came RUSHING to greet them. AND SEATED THEM BEFORE THEY SAT US!!! We mentioned that we've been here way before and haven't even been greeted. When the rest of my guests arrived, we weren't given a water, she filled up like 3 cups (there were 5 of us) and dismissed herself. The service was super spotty! Came in for a quick lunch. The decor is quaint and nice with a lot of Thai art. The service was fast and friendly. We ordered the pad Thai with chicken and a green curry. Both dishes were on point and delicious. The pad Thai had all the fixin's with bean sprouts, peanuts, etc. the flavor was similar to many others that I have had. This used to be one of my fav Thai places, but that was years ago. I picked up red curry and a pad thai tonight, and found neither worth going back for. The curry had too many bamboo shoots and was thin and watery, and the pad thai was too dry. I ordered 4 stars for both dishes but the heat levels did not match at all. The portions were pretty generous and techincally it was cooked correctly, but I really can't recommend this place anymore because Thai food isn't supposed to be bland! read more

After eye-balling this place for years (literally), my wife and I finally dropped in last night. I won't be back. Service was just fine, the waitress was unobtrusive yet spot-on. No complaints there. The complaints are with the food. We had crab delight, chicken phad thai, chicken cashew stir fry, and basil beef. None of it was bad, but nothing was above average either. The crab delight was almost all cream cheese, very little crab, and was served with a plum sauce. So-so. The phad thai was my favorite; we ordered it at the 3 pepper level, and it had the most heat of everything, which makes me sad. The sauce was good, the noodles good, the chicken cooked well. The chicken cashew stir fry was also 3 peppers. It wasn't even close to the many other restaurants' versions we have had. Again, not bad, just subpar, and not as hot as the phad thai. The most disappointing was the basil beef. The menu says "lots of fresh, fresh basil." I found 2 basil leaves and gobs of dried basil. I ordered it "hot, really hot. hot hot hot please." I would serve it to, to quote Homer, "Women and recovering surgery patients." Why can't I find HOT THAI??? Thai Chili doesn't suck, but I won't go back. read more
