    Thai Tea (tastes good!)
    Jim J.

The inside of the restaurant has good ambience and nice decor. The food here is OK for the most part. The chicken satay was bland and too dry. The green curry chicken had a good flavor, but there was nothing special about it. The Thai Tea was very good. Overall, this is an average Thai restaurant. If looking for great Thai food in this area, I would instead recommend Nara Thai at 290 & Skinner Road.

Salmon Curry (yummy!) with Beef Pad Kee Mao (delish!) and the last Chicken Satay (meh)

First time at this thai restaurant, and it did not disappoint! It's a homey, casual, family-run vibe. Service was kind and attentive, and the portions are massive! We got the Chicken Satay, the Pad Kee Mao with Beef, and the Salmon Curry. We were originally debating between the wings and the satay...I think we made the wrong choice because the satay was really flat and dry. It also did not come with the usual pickled cucumber/onion relish that this dish usually does. But...onto the actual dishes--these were both amazing! Pad Kee Mao was perfectly flavored, and the noodles had a very nice al dente chew. The Salmon Curry was the star of the show--this dish was red curry based and had a generous amount of tender salmon chunks. The flavors were chef's kiss! The jasmine rice was a tad overcooked and clumpy but not too big of an issue; maybe just an off day. Both the curry and the pad kee mao were sizable enough to make two more meals to take home after our lunch. Overall, delicious food that I would come back for!

We had 3 items to go - Phad Thai, Phad See Ew and Phad Kee Maow. All 3 portions were decent, and the noodles were delicious. Prices were competitive vs other Thai places nearby. Preparation was lightning fast! The entire order was ready in 10 minutes, ahead of schedule. There was aluminum foil in each container to keep the items warm. Overall, we were very pleased with our to-go experience. The restaurant has a lot of other noodle options that we'll like to try in the future.

Pad Thai noodles were a bit overcooked. I wish it came with more vegetables. The boat noodle soup was disappointing... it tasted like Pho with a more sour broth. The cuts of beef that it came with were very tough and chewy.

Love the green curry which is sweet with a hint of coconut. Also, a must try is their refreshing cold iced green tea beverage. This place never disappoints.

After eating at Thai Gourmet and Tony Thai's in Houston, it's been extremely hard to find delicious, up to par, authentic Thai food. I ordered through Uber Eats after a long day of travel. Everything came hot and fresh - but the flavors..... no. I ordered level 4 spicy for everything. I do like the range from 1-6 of spice and there are a lot of protein options. I ordered the Som Tum Salad (Papaya Salad - Thai Style), Tom Yum Seafood Soup w/ rice, and Golden Pouch as appetizer. Golden pouch appetizer is essentially a crab Rangoon minus the crab part. There was not enough filling in the pouch and the wonton was extremely thick and chewy. The rice.... Though I got a big portion, the rice seemed not fresh and overnight. The tom yum seafood soup - too sweet. The papaya salad - EXTREME FISH FOUL taste. I get that there is fish sauce in it (I love fish sauce) but this smell and the taste tasted more like going to an Asian supermarket, walking to the seafood aisle and eating the air smell. Not great at all. Looking at the reviews from this place, I should've ordered the noodles? Too bad I won't be bringing my husband here to try Thai food or come back again. Sorry, this place is not it! Cypress needs to open more Thai restaurants!

Went here for Mother's Day with my mom. It's cute and the staff is friendly. The Pad See Ew was so good and I'm glad I asked the staff which one is spicy. We all loved the food, however one star is missing because lo mein was a little too salty.

The food is delicious! The service is pretty fast and you can adjust your spice level.

They have a level of spiciness from 1-6, I chose 4 to see whats up, and will be ordering 6 the next time. DELICIOUS.

Are the portions for curry small I just had an experience where I got a half full container somewhere else and don't want to go through that again?

Their portions are good. Container is full and they don't skimp on anything. Hope this helps.

I've always wanted to try the food here and finally did…read more It was great! The food was tasty and flavorful. Good vibes walking in and admiring the wall of license plates. The staff was nice and generous, which is always a big plus. The second I took a bite of my food I knew the reviews did not fail. Great food, staff, and ambiance. Definitely coming back. Check it out and see!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and unfortunately, it was not a great experience…read more I ordered the shrimp fried rice, and while transferring it to another plate, I found a long black hair buried deep inside the rice. The waitress watched me pull it out and took the hair, but never came back to address the issue. After waiting, I had to call another employee over and ask if they were going to replace the fried rice. Her response and attitude made me feel like I was expected to just eat it anyway. They did make a new order, but when the bill came, I was told the original fried rice was removed from the bill and I would have to pay for the replacement. In my opinion, I should not have been charged for a dish that had a hair in it in the first place, especially since I was already finished with my meal and ready to leave when the replacement arrived. Customer service was disappointing. The staff seemed irritated when I asked questions about the menu, even though it was my first visit. Overall, the food was average at best. Food: 5/10 Customer Service: 3/10 Unfortunately, this experience did not leave me wanting to return.
