I came to Thai Delight in Chandler for the first time today. Very friendly server! I order the fresh rolls which were so good along with the yummy peanut sauce. My daughter in law got the crab puffs which were also very good. I had the Thai soup which was delicious. My daughter-in-law got the curry soup which she loved. My friend got the orange chicken. Didn't seem to be much sauce on them. And the orange sauce was so thin that it didn't help to add more to it. Over all, it is a repeater! I stumbled upon this gem a couple weeks ago and I've been here several times since then. Their Thai iced tea is perfection. It's not overly sweet and has the exact ratio of milk and tea combined. I am delighted (pun intended) every time I eat here! The staff is attentive and welcoming. Dee was my server today and she made sure to check in with me and offer me suggestions for my curry bowl. I really appreciate servers who are gifted with the ability to know when to approach the table and when to give space. Thanks Dee! We ordered from this place for take out during the covid-19. Was told it's about 20 mins. so we got there around the time, went inside and paid. Another 40 minutes waiting in the parking lot, they finally made our food. Not sure why they took an hour for it since there was only one other car outside.. During the wait time we found out if you check in on yelp you get a free Thai tea. So I checked in for it, the server did gave me a free to go Thai tea, only that was almost NO tea in there but full cup of ice cubes... so we got home and was super hungry and excited for the food. The tomyum with seafood was fishy and we couldn't even finish it had to toss away. The other basil with veggies was pretty good but very salty.. I hope this is only happening because of they may not have the right people working for them now. Their reviews are great and my experience might be just an accident. Cute little strip mall Thai place. The spring rolls were really yummy and fresh and very big. The dumplings were great. Medium heat on the chicken pad thai was perfect heat level for me. I didn't love the chunks of tofu in the pad thai but easy enough to pick around. They don't offer lunch menu on Saturday and the dinner size is HUGE. Like 3 people share it huge. Very yummy food. My mom and I came here for lunch on a Sunday. We both love curry and were pleasantly surprised with how clean the restaurant is and how friendly the waiter was as well. We ordered the egg rolls and the Panang curry. It was delicious! It is spicy if you're not used to Thai food, but the curry had amazing flavor that paired well with the jasmine rice. Finally, a Thai restaurant near my house!! TL checked out this restaurant on a business meeting/lunch. Monday to Friday they have complimentary soup and salad bar when you purchase a lunch item. The soup is yummy! Vegetables and tofu soup. I've tried the drunken noodle chicken and pad Thai chicken here. The portions for lunch are dinner are very large! I can't even finish the lunch portion by myself! The food is very authentic and the owners are polite. It's a husband and wife business. The Thai tea is sweet and creamy! It comes in a large cup! My go to is either Massaman and Panang Curry and my wife enjoys the Yellow Curry. I dislike the taste of onions and they are always nice enough here to make my dish without them. Thai Delight has my favorite egg rolls in Arizona so far. As much as I enjoy their curry dishes, I think I end up ordering from here just so I can get my egg roll fix. This place is worth a visit for the egg rolls alone! The only thing keep Thai Delight from a five star review is I have not been impressed with their noodle dishes. Both the Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles were just okay and lacking the flavor I was looking for. I find myself going to other Thai places when I want those dishes. I have been back many times, mostly when I get off work and feel like some Pad Thai (Thai comfort food for me) for takeout. With take out they give you a bottle of water which I feel is a nice touch for over the top customer service. Something almost all restaurants charge extra for. Went back last week for lunch with a friend. This is the first time I've had lunch at Thai Delight. My friend had the Massaman Curry with chicken and I had Garlic and Pepper with chicken sliced (lunch menu shows ground chicken). My friend seems to enjoy her food by not saying much but her plate will be clean when finished. Lol So I'm assuming she liked it. I loved my dish so much that I will order it again. It had lots of veggies, which I'm always looking for. A lot of places will only put the standard fare of carrots, peppers and onions. Whatever they put in the broth is divine! I think it's a hint of ginger. The pepper in the name comes from black pepper (I think). Even tho it's a lunch portion I took about half home (I'm not a light eater). With lunch they had a soup and salad bar. The salad choices are limited so don't come expecting to fill up on it. Not sure if the soup changes, that day it was egg drop soup. I added greens onions to it from the salad bar. A spring roll accompanied our entree as well. My total bill with a Thai Iced Tea was under $13. Stupid me, I checked in and forgot to redeem my free tea! Still good value for your buck. read more

Thai Delight 4645 E Chandler Blvd Ste 106 Phoenix, AZ 85048 A large group of us descended on this restaurant for dinner. We all wanted to try different dishes and compare them to previous experiences. Companion ordered Egg Rolls and received 5 of them that were crispy and filled with veggies. Personally, I wanted to have the Mee Krob which had large pork slices and was very good. Dishes that were ordered included Duck Curry (nicely cooked and flavored) and Tom Ka Pork soup, which was quite tasty. One of our party ordered the #18 Platter, which was huge and had shrimp satay and wontons which were made of rolled rice paper. Another ordered #2 which were soft rice paper rolls with shrimp, noodles and peanut sauce Also ordered was Pad Thai which was declared to be very good. For main courses, Drunken Noodles were ordered and were excellent but considered a bit too spicy. Sweet and Sour Pork came in manageable pieces and was also very tasty. The Red Curry Chicken was excellent and had nicely balanced flavors. Another of the group ordered Pad Prik King which was very good and had a wonderful sauce. The Panang Curry was very good, but not spicy enough for one member of our party. Other items ordered were the Chicken Satay and the Thai Delight. It was generally agreed that service was excellent. We asked to return it, but the owner took the rest of the food from our table and very impolitely told us to leave the restaurant!!!! I have asked co-workers and friends where can we get a good Thai food, some suggested this place. We decided to give them a try during dinner time. The establishment is within a small strip mall with other stores. We walk and no one is in the restaurant, there were several people that came in thereafter we walk in for to-go orders. Perhaps their preference is to eat at home to be safe or it maybe that we came in early than the others as we saw a few came in half an hour later than we did. The establishment is a small area, but could easily fit in 30-35 on my estimation. We have ordered our usual items starting with their Thai Noodle Soup - it's a clear soup with veges, meatballs, and thin rice noodles. Of course we have to try their 'Shrimp Pad Thai' and their appetizer- ''chicken satay". As always the 'satay' came in first, the chicken meat was soft and tasty and the peanut dipping sauce was just right for the tasting. Then comes our soup, a bowl order is huge it could fit 4 or possible more People to share. The combination of vegetables, chicken and meatballs with clear broth and rice noodle made it a perfect spring soup. Our 'Pad Thai' came on a big serving plate with a large prawns and once again huge serving, the taste was a little different than what I'm used too, it's a little sour as oppose to the sweetness I'm used to have but still taste ok. Our server was nice and checks on us every time, good customer service you can always expect on Thai restaurants. Ultimately a good dining experience. read more
