    Kiosks to order from inside.
    Randy B.

Another day, of course a new Panera. This location inside was cozy, had a fireplace and plenty of seating and very clean. Could not get a picture of the fireplace, people were sitting there the whole time. Used the as I always do, food is ready to grab and go or eat there. Super fast and easy when ordering with the app. My normal order has been Ranch Cobb Salad w/chicken and sub green goddess dressing, comes with a free side always, apple, chips or bread, I normally get an apple. Also got my Sip Club drink and an 4 Asiago bagels today, Yum! This location is right off the 210 freeway, large parking lot, easy to get to and get out of. Inside is nice, open and clean, lots of seating and similar to other locations. Great spot for lunch. Enjoy.

I hadn't eaten at Panera dining in for YEARS. We usually order it for work meetings however and I LOVE the Fuji apple salad. I came in today with a friend from church and we both got the "pick two." Their spicy steak salad was REALLY spicy and good, spicier than I expected from Panera and so delicious. I was also glad they had their squash soup which is my all time fav. Our food came out quickly and all the staff was so nice too.

$72 for soup and still hungry

Mark my word. I will NEVER give another dime to Panera Bread again. While their food is decently tasty, the value, portion-sizes, and prices are extremely sub-par. Despite my consistent anti-Panera feelings, I was feeling sick this week and knew soup should be on the menu. Against my judgement (in a weak moment), I ordered a few types of soup (specifically a bowl of Turkey chili for the hubs, a cup of broccoli cheddar, and Mac n' cheese in a sourdough bowl), two cookies, and a regular mango smoothie. The three soups each came with a small french baguette on the side. The cost? $70+. Unreal. Although the bread bowl is an upcharge, you are given a cup portion size. NOT worth the extra money. Panera will cost you an arm and a leg. You'll also need to eat the other arm and leg after being left hungry from their poor portions and lack of funds left for another meal. How are they still in business?

Don't try to do their offer as it states free 1/2 sandwich with $5 purchase but no you must order a special Order plus no more pepperoni flat bread pizza

Panera bread you have fallen off the maps completely. Your prices just continue to rise, but the quality of food continues to drown me and my family coming here for years. Now my wife has gotten a salad with a bug in it. We ordered online "rapid pickup" over $60.00 bucks for a family of 3 and is absolutely terrible

Gross old ass tomatoes and avocados!!
    Abbey C.

This place needs serious quality control. My breakfast sandwich this morning was DISGUSTING! See picture. They put avocado that looks like it came out of a garbage disposal on sandwiches. Gross!! And not only that they charge you a dollar for two tiny DISGUSTING slices. Also, don't use freaking old ass tomato slices on sandwiches. The texture is just terrible!!

Lots of healthy options with the ability to customize.

There are many Panera's that are closer to where I work, but I make sure I come to this location before I leave for work because of the service. I'm not sure why there's not more 5 star reviews of the Upland location. The kitchen staff are always very friendly, even when they're busy. The counter staff are also wonderful. Is every order perfect? Not always, but I feel way more often than your average grab-n-go place. If something's not right, just go tell them and they'll fix it! The ambience inside is also pleasant, with clean seating, nice tucked away booths if you want privacy, and the music is current and relaxing (unlike Target where the music is current but not my choice to shop to as it's mostly abrasive in sound and lyrics). Maybe I'm just old, and maybe I grew up on convenience food so I know not to expect too much, but it's enough to keep me coming back to Panera for the consistency. The price is right for "healthy" food, they run discounts and give you freebies if you use their reward program which come on, that's super easy. The people that work here are nice even though you know they probably deal with crap from customers all day. Location is good and indoors/patio are clean. Parking is easy. What's not to like?

    Chicken teriyaki bowl
    Lauren S.

Came here last night and ordered something for dinner since I had a gift card. I saw that they had that new chicken teriyaki bowl so I wanted to try it (I typically don't really eat here but since I had the gift card thought I might as well use it). The staff was very friendly & service was quick! What I ordered: chicken teriyaki bowl and it came with a side of chips (I didn't want the bread) & I ordered a chocolate chip muffle. When I got in my car I took a bite of the muffle and I wasn't sure if it was stale or supposed to be a little crunchy but I remember getting one a few years ago & it wasn't that crunchy but I just thought maybe it was me. I threw it in the microwave when I got home to soften it up which kind of did the trick but some parts of it were still tough which made me think it might have been stale. As far as the bowl goes. Presentation wise when I opened it my initial thought was "meh" I guess I was expecting more. I took a bite...it was okay...nothing spectacular--but again I was extremely hungry at this point so I was going to eat it regardless. I ate half of it. It was pretty good. I might get it again maybe...I'm glad it was a gift card purchase and nothing I paid for with my own money.

For those who haven't experienced it before, it's an AYCE salad bar, soups, and other prepared foods. They have two locations. One is in Chino, the other here and Rancho Cucamonga. This location is wildly popular and the line never dies down until they close. We came in the middle of an afternoon on Sunday and it was still at least a 30 minute wait. Their system is very efficient. A staff will let a limited amount of people in at a time to keep the salad bar line clear and moving smoothly. In between groups of people that are let in, the ones behind the counter will restock items that are low and wipe down the counters. That makes the place look clean all the time. Once you enter, grab a plate or two and a tray and create your own salad. They have many types of veggies with several types of dressings. Then you'll pay at the end of the line at the cashier station. They also have about 4 to 5 different types of soups, few types of muffins, baked potatoes, fresh cut, fruit, and a few other items. Soup n Fresh is a total nostalgic place for me because the last time I went to a place like this was before the pandemic of 2020, and everything tasted just like Souplantation, from the clam chowder to their ranch dressing. The experience brought back a lot of memories when I used to run into friends all the time. I hope they will open more locations towards San Gabriel Valley area.

All the salad ingredients and the soups are delicious and fresh. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is due to the miserably uncomfortable metal chairs with zero back support.

The service itself was great; our server was very sweet and apologized that they didn't have more options for us, offering a pasta dish and the mac and cheese. However, the restaurant's decision to fry virtually every vegetarian-friendly side in beef tallow made me feel extremely limited and unwelcome. No fries, tater tots, sweet potato fries, Brussels sprouts, or even the mozzarella sticks are actually vegetarian-safe because they're all cooked in beef fat--which is just wild for things like cheese sticks and veggies. Yes, they offer Impossible patties, but most people expect to pair a burger with potato sides, and that simply wasn't possible here. Your only real options are pasta, mac and cheese, or salads. I completely respect restaurants having their own cooking style, but it would've been nice to have at least a few genuinely vegetarian-friendly comfort sides available. Unfortunately, because of that, I wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend The Cut to vegetarians.
