Feb. 2019, lunch. First-time diner and, now, a huge fan! Ordered the chicken Prik Pao and my initial reaction was surprise from the single drumette on the plate, but quickly realized the dish's true stars were mushrooms (chanterelle?) and basil ... incredible flavor and textures in this dish! Just had the worst lunch ever here at the Thai house. I ordered Thai noodle, "extra hot". The noodles were mushy, over cooked and it was so bland I asked if they could ad some heat or spice to it. When it came back I got the same over cooked noodles and mushy chicken only now it was sitting in soup. Yes, more flavorful but totally nasty noodle soup on a plate. I just could not eat it so I politely returned it and they charged me for one very small cup of soup and one bland roll that came late and with no sauces for flavor that were suppose to come with the meal. Terrible. Thank goodness there are so many other restaurants to choose from. read more

This restaurant has such delicious dishes. I went with a friend and everything that we ordered was yummy. We had the gangsom soup(shrimp), thai shrimp roll, gang ped(chicken curry), general Tao's chicken(THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD) with white rice. The beef pad see ew is one of the best I've had. The rice noodle is fresh...unless it's top notch prepacked noodles, either way it's good. It's got a smoky caramelized flavor to the stir fry and the beef is braised and tender. I don't order anything else. Some reviews said the dish was iffy. Idk, I might of had a good chef those times. I got the pad see ew and though it had flavor it was so very greasy that I could barely eat it. I took it home and had to place all of it down in a pot of boiling water to wash the grease off and when the grease was off of it it tasted so much better. I noticed another poster mentioned the grease problem with this place. I hope the cook reads this because you don't need all that unhealthy grease to make something taste good - lighten it up - remove the grease and it would be so much better tasting and healthier too. read more

Delicious Thai cuisine!! I live a short drive from this place and am eating there constantly. Vegans and vegetarians will be pleased to know there is a full page of veggie selections at the back of the menu... in addition to the standard tofu options, there are other protein selections called sue-yi (fish consistency) and sue-gai (chicken consistency)... both are delicious. I also love the fact the this place brings a full carafe of water to your table so you can self-refill at your leisure. I drink a lot of water and the carafe is so convenient... small touches like this really make a place. Love me some Thai House. read more

This is good for what it is, delivery Chinese and Thai. I lived off of their Hot & Sour soup last winter. Things that we like: sesame chicken, Kung Pao chicken, crab rangoon, coconut soup, basil chicken, sizzling rice soup. Things I won't order again: flat noodles, spicy noodles, pad thai, yellow curry (really watery curry). They seem to have an issue with over cooking their noodles and I thought perhaps it was just a delivery thing, but I had the same issue in the restaurant. read more

They have tons of mock meat (vegan) fishes here and it's really good and made in house. They even have vegan coconut soup. The food is very good and they will make it quite hot for you if that's what you like. They are nice and this new location is in a much better spot than their last place. Thanks for making my birthday special. Made a reservation for 7 and a nice round table was ready upon arrival. Nice ambience and food -Thai is better than the Chinese, but still good. Clearly the 5 people who reviewed this place have never had good Thai food or maybe any Thai food for that matter. The food had no flavor, the curry sauce was watery and oily and the spring roll was soggy. The Thai iced tea however was delicious. I won't be returning. Oh I should mention I had this as delivery. I am shocked with all of the positive ratings. Went last night and was not impressed at all. The shrimp rolls each had ONE shrimp in them...with the tail on! The crab rangoon was 99% cream cheese...just a hint of crab. The hot and sour soup was OK but served at a scalding temperature! I know soup should be served hot but it was practically boiling. After burning ourselves, we waited 15 minutes before it was cool enough to eat. Our entree was a pulled pork dish that indicated it was spicy. Bland, bland, bland. Do yourself a favor and drive a few miles east to Asian Kitchen in the Centennial Kroger shopping center. It's a hidden gem that is FAR superior! read more

We were on our way to an unknown Pho place and my wife spotted the Thai House... unknown, too, but we were really hungry and we both love good Thai food. We arrived late in the lunch hour and were warmly greeted and seated. The place is nicely decorated with many comfortable booths and tables. If it weren't so hot we would have opted to sit outside with a many seating options available. As a vegetarian (vegan wannabe) I was really impressed with the options available. Seriously, half of the menu is vegetarian and they offer tofu, sue-gai or sue-yi as meat/fish substitutes. I had the Spicy Flat Noodles with sue-gai (chicken substitute) and it was perfect. The noodles were like silk and the sue-gai had the taste and texture of chicken thigh. Pleasent surprise, indeed. They offer a 1-5 heat level. Heat levels are like waist sizes... everyone is slightly different. I went middle of the road at 3 and it was perfect for the first time. By the end of the meal I had broken a slight sweat (my heat level barometer) yet was able to enjoy the many flavors available in the dish. Might amp it up to a 4 next time depending on the dish. My wife and I agreed that the flavors in our dishes were a step above our previous Thai experiences. Not a sophisticated enough of a diner to explain the difference, but suffice to say that the flavors were layered nicely without being overly complex. Bottom line, we really appreciated the food as described, presented and eaten. We will be back for sure. If you go, ask for Evelyn. She was very patient with us and really pointed us in the right direction. All of that and she is a very nice person, too! Many reasons to return and we will. Not impressed. We wanted to try out a new place as its near our home. The lemongrass soup was yummy. The pad Thai and masaman curry was average at best. The curry was full of onions. Will be sticking to Nahm and M Thai; pricier but at least the food is legit and consistent. read more

I went here with two coworkers. They seemed short staffed because it took forever to be seated (about 5 ppl were checking out) then when we are ready to check out, no one was to be found. (Btw- a place with white tablecloths should take your money at the table. Not make you get up to a register and then have to return with your tip to the table.) I went for the Mango Chicken because it was a "Thai House favorite for 18th years." I have no idea why. One of my co workers ordered the same and she was right that it just tasted odd. You sort of expect a sweet/tangy flavor to accompany mango, but it was a weird brown sauce. The fried rice was barely anything but rice- I prefer more egg, peas, carrots, etc in my fried rice. My other coworker had some Thai noodles (I forget which one) and commented that it tasted greasy. Our soups were ok. I did like the chicken wing that came with it. So- 2 stars. It is a lot of lunch for a lunch portion. But for mediocre food, we won't be returning. read more

I usually do not write reviews but in this case I felt I really needed to. I ordered Panang chicken to take out from Thai House. I happened to be in Roswell and was unfamiliar with the Thai restaurants in the area. This one happened to be close and had decent ratings. OK, when I got home the first thing I noticed was the strange coloring of the Panang Chicken. It was a strange peach color. There was a lot of food given, about a quart. When I bit into the chicken it tasted odd, like not real chicken...maybe canned or preserved. It was very rubbery. The sauce tasted ok but I couldn't get past the coloring of the sauce and the consistency of the chicken. I had to throw it out after a few bites. My usual Thai restaurant is called Dee Thai in Alpharetta. I ordered Panang chicken from them, went to pick it up and my panang chicken craving was fixed. I agree with one of the reviewers on this post. If a Thai restaurant is also a "Chinese" restaurant, then they are probably not serving real Thai. Dee Thai ONLY serves Thai food.
