The server Matt was friendly and took the time to explain the food and made a couple recommendations. He was attentive and honest in his opinions of the food. The portions were big. I did medium spicy and it was flavorful, not hot. The food did take longer than expected, but when we got it, it was fresh. Perhaps because it was Friday. This place is ok. Personally I like the food at Star of Siam in downtown Chicago more. The crab rangoon and chicken satay were pretty good. The pepper steak was ok. Nice atmosphere, good service and very accommodating to my requests for slight changes to the dishes. My husband loves it too and he's not the most experimental with ethnic food. We decided to try takeout here since it's super convenient to the Naperville Metra station, and we noticed it was now open. My wife and I shared the Tom Kha soup and Basil Fried rice. Both were solid, and the fried rice had a nice assortment of fresh veggies. Would definitely order from them again. Just went here last night for the first time. We've tried all of the local Thai restaurants within about a 15 minute drive of Naperville and this one ranks up there among the best. Portions were very good, service was excellent, everything was very fresh and the food tasted outstanding! Our favorites that we ordered were probably the fresh spring rolls, the Tom Yum soup (easily served 4 of us as an appetizer), and the Mussaman Curry ... which is really outstanding! The only thing to be aware of is that medium is pretty spicy here compared to some other local Thai restaurants. We ordered the Tom Yum medium and they added fresh chili's to our soup which was excellent. I love the extra spice, but it was a little too much heat for some people at our table, so you may want to keep that in mind when ordering - depending on your preference. We will definitely be back and ordering lots of carry out! Unless you're travelling on METRA, this one is a little off the beaten path (directly next to the south side of the Naperville METRA station), but definitely worth it. read more

Worst experience ever. I went with a friend who goes regularly with other friends and they get charged a $5 corking fee. We brought 2 bottles and our bill came with a $24 corking fee. When we brought it up to our server he had the manager come out. The manager said they give a discount for more bottles. We asked if we had more bottles if it would have been cheaper and he responded that we wouldn't be allowed to drink that much. We countered that hypothetically we could if we weren't driving. The manager then said it wasn't a discount on bottles it was a discount for more people. We could not get a straight answer as to why the bill was higher than expected. At this point the owner came out from the back. We restated that we thought it was a $5 corking fee because that was a previous experience. By this time we were getting pretty frustrated because no one was giving a clear explanation and the manager was going on the offensive with us. The owner told us there has never been a $5 corking fee even for groups. We told her that wasn't true because my friend had personally experienced that on several occasions. She ended the interaction by telling us to pay our f*#king bill and get out. I have never been so shocked. We were just sworn at by people who work in customer service. There are many other places for Thai food that treat their customers with respect in the area. One of the bottles of wine only cost $8 to begin with and if we had known the corking fee was $12 we would have just ordered wine off the menu. I will never return because of how they handled it. All of this could have been avoided with an apology and clear explanation. Instead, the staff argued with us which only escalated the situation. It's too bad because we were enjoying our dinner up to this point. read more

Love this hidden gem - it has a cozy atmosphere. They have reasonable prices for bottles of wine and other cocktails. They have yummy food and personalized service and they even have a live pianist this evening. It's a quiet, relaxing atmosphere so it's perfect for conversation. Came here to celebrate my dad's birthday. This restaurant was slightly difficult to locate if going for the first time but it is by the Naperville train station and a block from the DuPage Children's Museum so if you just start from there it is easier to find. For the appetizer we got Chicken Satay and for the entrees we got Beef Pad Thai, Chicken Pad Thai, Kang Keaw Won, and Tom Yum Noodle Soup. We also got the Fried Banana and Coconut Ice Cream and the Thai Medallion and Ice Cream for dessert. Overall the food is comparable to similar Thai restaurants in the Naperville/Aurora area but if you happen to find this place while in downtown Naperville it isn't that bad of option if looking for a restaurant outside of the busy areas of the Riverwalk. read more

Our waiter definitely knew the ins and outs of the menu and always made sure we had enough water in our cup. The style/decoration suited the setting of the restaurant. The appetizers and drinks are a little overpriced, but it's a small problem when compared to the quality and service you get there. This place is perfect for both casual eating or nice date. Noticed this place tucked behind the train station. I've been looking for a Thai place that has the best Tom Yum Soup. I give the flavor of the soup 5 stars, but the price...$25 for two bowls of soup with shrimp (5 medium shrimp to be exact).
