Tonight is New Years Eve and their takeout service was very busy. I decided to eat in. The restaurant part is small, clean and comfortable. It probably could hold 10 people. I ordered Thai Iced Tea (very good), Thai Vegetable Rolls (so so good) and Crispy Pad Thai with Beef (was too fishy tasting for me). The girl who served me noticed I was not eating it and apologized. She took it off the check once I explained why I didn't like it. The beef on it was very tender so I did eat that. I will go back again for sure. So impressed with my previous outing i decided to try this place out again with my colleagues at work. This time we went with the full course meal. Ordered curry puffs, Tom yum soup with chicken and clear soup with chicken for appetizers. All 3 were ultra delicious. Tom yum soup was a mix of chicken and mushrooms whereas clear soup was a mix of veggies and chicken. For the main course we ordered chilli basil sauce with egg noodles and chicken, yellow curry with chicken. Though the yellow curry was a bit small in quantity compared to other thai restaurants but the quality makes up for it. Its good for a single person. The chilli basil sauce is the one out of only two spicier versions they have on the menu. While having tried the lime leave and peppercorn sauce the other day i decided to try out the chilli basil sauce. I should say i liked the lime leave and peppercorn a lot. The chilli basil was a regular sauce that you could find out of any asian grocery. Overall the food was great and none of the items were disappointing. Definitely on my frequent list. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. We went in for dinner on Thursday night and we're surprised that it was empty. It is a small place, 6 tables maximum, but really beautiful and simple decor. The food was phenomenal! We had the crispy chicken pad thai, chicken lo mein and the BBQ beef. Nice little Thai restaurant found in a small strip mall alongside a pizza joint among other little shops. We were warmly greeted by a nice young lady who provided excellent customer service throughout our meal. We ordered the curry puffs, Thai wings, mango curry rice, crispy chicken pad thai, and crispy chicken basil pad thai. The curry puffs were quite tasty, but the wings were small, plain and overly fried. Both came with a Thai sweet chili sauce that also came with our entrees. We would've liked to see more variety for the sauces, though the one provided was good. The crispy chicken pad thai was ruined by a strange salty, fishy flavor. I think they added too much fish sauce, or something that had a weird kick to it. My friend got a stomach ache because of the amount of salt in that dish. The crispy chicken basil pad thai was as expected, nothing spectacular. The crispy chicken was very tasty - moist chicken with a very crispy golden brown outside. The mango curry was smooth and flavorful, with rice in the shape of a heart on the side. Now onto drinks... You should definitely order the Thai iced tea, it was spot on. Unfortunately, the iced pink milk tea and iced coffee were too sugary. read more

Surprisingly this place is amazing. It may seem a bit strange in that little place, but you've got to try it. I love the décor inside. It's nice, small, and clean. The appetizers chicken satay which was really good so were the curry puffs and the thai wings. The Pad Thai was a bit different, more sweet and tomato tasting so I wasn't a huge fan of it, but the Duck Choo Chee was really good with the pieces of duck, veggies and red curry. The rice that came with this was so cute and presented in a heart-shape. We also ordered another noodle dish but I can't remember what it was but it was delicious. The service was great! I was craving authentic Thai cuisine and found this place on yelp. We ordered several dishes for take out that included: crispy chicken pad Thai, garlic vegetable stir fry, pa tod prik, papaya salad and a side of Tom yum soup. The crispy chicken pad Thai was my least favorite of the dishes. The crispy chicken was delicious but the pad Thai was a little dry and had a tomato-y taste. The garlic vegetable stir fry didn't taste like the typical "brown sauce" I was expecting. It just wasn't as flavorful. The pad tod prik was probably prepared with frozen filets, which is why the fish tasted hard and overcooked. The papaya salad was pretty good but not spicy like everyone was saying on yelp, so I was extremely disappointed about the spice level. The grilled beef it comes with was also excellent. I recommend this dish! The Tom yum soup was good. No complaints here. If I order from here again, it'd probably be for the papaya salad (spicy, please) and the grilled beef! read more

My boyfriend and I came here and ordered hot and sour soup, fresh roll tofu, crispy pad thai, pad see-ew, and two ice teas and it was only $35.10 before tip. This place is amazing! The hot and sour soup was delicious and the fresh roll tofu (with peanut satay sauce) were GIANT and also wonderful, my pad se-ew was unbelievably wonderful, and the waitress was very pleasant. The restaurant is also adorable with a very delightful rustic yet modern vibe. Seriously, the giant meal was delicious and very very cheap. What we got would have easily been $60+ at another thai restaurant and not as delicious. These people clearly take pride in their work and it shows. Ordered delivery from here on grubhub. Delivery was fast, but it was kind of all down hill from there. The spring rolls were doughy, under-filled and undercooked. The pad thai noodles were dry, gummy and incredibly salty. The chicken in the satay appeared to be undercooked and weirdly textured, and since all the other dishes also had chicken we were very worried about the potential for undercooked poultry. We contacted grubhub to request a refund and were told that grubhub can only authorize a refund if the restaurant oks it, and the restaurant refused to give us a refund and instead wanted to come collect the food, and bring a replacement order. Obviously, we weren't going to risk a second order, so we ended up out $40. But grubhub gave us a $10 coupon, so...that's nice. read more

This is a great little restaurant to grab some Thai food. They have a few tables but we usually place orders for take out. The first time I ordered here I got Green Curry and was unimpressed. However, I have ordered multiple things since then and have had much better luck. They do a great job of varying the spice level per your request. Cute little restaurant with pretty decent food. Make sure you come on the earlier side because the restaurant fills up quickly around 7 and there is only one waitress so service can get slow! The crispy chicken was really good but the basil pad Thai lacked flavor. It had 2 spice signs but wasn't spicy at all. You could taste the basil, but that was about it. The scallions pancakes were super light and crispy and the Tom yum soup had good flavor! The pink milk tastes like bubblegum and strawberry milk mixed together. Wasn't a fan, but if you like bubblegum, you'll probably love it. Overall a decent meal, would come back to try their stir fry noodle bar! read more

Is it bad that I have to up my review to 3 stars because I didn't want to give them 2? Let me explain myself. They have good food, small portions and don't consider dining in at all. Only 3 tables (one large to fit about 6 people, another 4-person table and a 2-person table). Take-outs all the way. Thai restaurants are popping up around the South Shore which makes the competition tougher by all means and for a reason too. I would say that their Thai food authenticity is not bad, but nothing that blew me away. Maybe it's the portions that I'm a little let down by, for a new restaurant. I probably won't be back soon, but they do have nice decor. It's a little too early to say how they'd do but perhaps I'll make an update in a few months. read more

I ordered online, and asked for the red curry one step less spicy. When it came, I was confused because the sauce was clear, not red as I am accustomed to. I called them to ask if they forgot the sauce, but they said they use a slightly different sauce for less spicy curry. I accepted this answer as an unfortunate, unintended self-sabotage, and ate a delicious yet unexpected dish. However, 30 minutes later, they delivered a replacement dish (with the normal curry) with a complimentary beverage! This was probably the most awesome customer service I've ever experienced. One of the best Thai restaurants around. It's a really small space but do not be deceived by its size. The menu offers the usual Thai staples along with subtle innovations like Thai ice cream pop which is an iced form of the famed Thai iced tea. There is room for some Burmese influence as well. Since my long time go to, Lime Leaf in Weymouth, has gone downhill, I decided to give this place a try. Since it was my first time there, I kept it simple. A crispy pad Thai and a regular pad Thai. While it would be damn near impossible to match or surpass Lime Leaf's crispy pad Thai when they're on/were on their game, Noodle Bar comes thisclose and certainly surpasses all the other local Thai places right now. I've tried at least 10 other places in 3 different cities and this will be my new go to. Also really appreciated the Covid protocol. This place is one of the hidden gems of Quincy. I've been here many times and the service and food is always great. I normally get the curry which is rich in flavor and has a good kick, but this time I got the wonton noodle soup(which was delicious). The dishes are reasonably priced, especially for the wonton noodle soup as the portion was pretty big. The restaurant itself is small, but it's cozy and aesthetically pleasing.
