Best Thai food in Folsom!!! I've been here dozens of times over the years, but after recently trying other Thai food spots in Folsom, I felt the urge to share. This location has it all - great service, authentic and flavorful food with beautiful traditional decor! Everything on their menu is great and they even have specials on a board by the front door. Some of my go-tos: red curry w/chicken, yellow curry with chicken, drunken noodle, Tom Kha Gai(coconut curry soup with chicken), madaman curry, pad Thai medium spicy, chicken skewers. After ordering Thai iced tea nearly every time we visit, I thought I'd mix it up and try the Thai iced coffee. Wow, so good and with such a rich coffee flavor - almost tasted like a white Russian without the alcohol. Worth a try if you've never had it before! The servers are always so friendly, you are immediately greeted upon arrival, and their kitchen is open so you can see them making everything fresh when you walk in! What makes Thai Paradise better: more flavor, fresher tasting ingredients, thicker curry broths, more veggies/ingredients in their dishes, absolutely best Tom Kha Gai, they have brown rice, give you free salad, and friendliest staff than anywhere else(you feel welcome and actually want to eat there instead of only wanting to order to-go). Being able to do day trips seem so long ago with leaf peeping one of our last ones that was more than 2 hours away.  On the way back, we stopped by the Sacramento area for a break and dinner.  We chose Thai Paradise based on Yelp reviews of good Covid protocol.   Even though limited indoor dining was available, we chose outdoor and it was a beautiful evening temperature-wise.  They did a great job in their outdoor space giving it a garden feel as I sat next to some veggie plants and herbs that could have easily made it into many of the dishes offered.  I loved their papaya curry with salmon special that I hope it ends up on their regular menu.  That green papaya balanced the dish nicely that I almost wished I didn't have to share.  The silver noodles with chicken wasn't what I expected and reminds me more of Chinese vs. Thai flavors so would choose the Pad Thai instead next time.  The Thai Ice Tea was huge and very smart on their part during Covid times to ensure you had enough so you didn't need to request a refill.   Service was excellent, attentive, and friendly and tables spaced out enough that diners can really enjoy their dining experience.  Would definitely return the next time we are driving through. read more

Went for lunch to our go-to Thai restaurant in Folsom. We've been her many times before. I prefer the lunch time because the portions are smaller and they don't charge $3 for rice (come on really!?). Got my usual panang curry chicken with mild spice. (Trust me don't ask for medium spice). Wife got the shrimp pad Thai. All was very good, consistent as always. Will be back. read more

The restaurant atmosphere is super chill and they play nice piano music. Lots of seating options rather you want to sit at the booth or at a table. The service was amazing ! My favorite dish was the boat noodle soup. The cilantro with added sambal hit just right Wish I could have tried the mango salad or mango curry but the pumpkin curry was really good! The tofu was hella firm. They use good quality tofu! The egg rolls were just okay but great for an appetizer while waiting for food. The food came out super quick tho so love that we only had to wait about 5-10 minutes for food! They ran out of mango so I couldn't get my fix of Mango Sticky Rice but better believe I'll be back for more! Thai Paradise is just as the name entails a paradise of greatness! Visited Thai Paradise for the first time last night, for early dinner at 4:00. My breakfast yesterday was an English muffin and tea. Lunch was a bowl of the same cereal I've been eating for days. My wife had basically the same breakfast and lunch. After dining at Thai Paradise last night, both my wife and I have had serious gastric issues this morning. I had the Pineapple Fried Rice with chicken and shrimp. I suspect the shrimp could be the issue, as it did not seem fully cooked. My wife had the Silver Noodle dinner with Tofu. We will not be returning anytime soon... if ever. read more

Decent Thai food. Cucumber salad was fantastic. The best we've ever had. Chicken Satay was just okay. Kinda pricy for 4 skewers at $15. Really good peanut dipping sauce. The Chicken Pad Thai was pretty average. Missing flavor. No lime provided. We ordered online and picked up inside. Service was friendly and professional. I was driving back from the South Lake Tahoe area. On the drive back we had dinner on a Friday night. We picked Thai Paradise because of a diverse menu and healthy options.  They just started limited indoor dining, but we opted for outdoor seating, the weather was mild and cooling off. We immediately saw the specials, and I decided on "Papaya curry with salmon". This was made with yellow curry and could be made very mild. So you have a rich yellow curry and blended with papaya, the papaya is mild on taste, but a definite papaya aftertaste. Topped on the salmon are strips on satued green papaya, carrots and basil. Individually, the salmon, curry and topping are excellent, combining all together was wonderful. I would definitely order  this again. Our second item was Silver Noodles, which used a glass noodle with mushrooms, your choice of protein, bean sprouts and carrots. The noodles are infused with a bit of soy sauce, different from what I expected but delicious. My SO ordered a Thai iced tea, which came in a large Pilsner, well worth the purchase. Rich in flavor and a nice balance. Looking at other items on the menu, they cover all aspects. I recommend this place. read more

Their food portion is getting smaller and smaller. I picked up my food today and was surprised how small was the portion. When I asked what's going on, she said we just changed the to go box and the amount of food is the same. But definitely food was much less than before. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and also had the spring rolls. The spring rolls are served with two sauces a plum sauce and a peanut sauce. Both are delicious. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai dish it was hot and delicious. We were served quickly. For dessert we ordered the mango sticky rice which is sweet and delicious. We were at Thai Paradise in Folsom on the evening of Wednesday, June 18, 2025. We brought a guest to celebrate a birthday. We were seated near a large party of about 25. This group included several young kids who literally screamed and shrieked and were running around. I have never seen such rude behavior. The shrieking was literally ear piercing. It so loud we could not carry on a conversation and as we brought a guest we were very embarrassed It appeared management did nothing to try to control the situation. The rest of the diners in the restaurant suffered and were collateral damage. I wish we had gotten up and left. We will never return to Thai Paradise. read more

Today our food was mostly good except for my eggplant delight. It didnt have any salt or spice - strange; I had to use the chili jar to palate it. Very disappointed about the to-go boxes that were Styrofoam ones. When asked for better ones, they told me that they don't have alternatives except for that or plastic ones. I talked to Will, one of the waiters, asked for alu-foil at least, so that we can wrap our to-go items and place them in the boxes. This restaurant is GORGEOUS inside!! The food was simply amazingly delish and the portions were ample. First time dining here last month and enjoyed every bite! My husband and I split the shrimp pad Thai, potstickers (why do Asian restaurants always give you "5" of apps??", lol. We also ordered the pineapple fried rice and it was so good, too! The husband loved their Thai iced tea, which had a free refill if I'm correct. It was huge! This restaurant is in a new section of Folsom. The strip mall has plenty of parking spaces. The dining area was spacious and cozy (maybe due to its higher ceiling). The menu was very straightforward and easy to order from. The servers moved around real fast but somehow still felt that they served and covered all of their patrons well. We ordered three simple dishes; a green curry, a pad thai, and glass noodles with beef and mushrooms. They all came out quite well. The presentation was really good. The color of the mixed ingredients showed that the chef tried to present them as fusion Thai foods. They succeeded because not only did the presentation come through, but the flavors of all these dishes came through as well. The best from these three dishes? The green curry! Best Thai restaurant in Folsom area. The food is delicious, good sized portions, the workers are all sweet and greet you when you walk in. The tables and chairs outside are a little uncomfortable but the ambiance outside is peaceful and quiet, which is surprising being that they are positioned in a busier area. I had a take-out of one dish (Papaya Salad) about a week ago. Order/pick-up process was fine. I enjoyed my salad a lot. However, my husband had one bite to taste it, and was very surprised that it was very, very spicy (he likes spicy food, in between medium and spicy when choosing spice level). The "spicy house dressing' had a lot of crushed chili pepper. I like very spicy food (usually between spicy and extra spicy level), and this dish was about right or a bit spicier than my usual level. I believe that spiciness is not their normal level for this dressing as this dish did not have the pepper sign, and most of people would find it too spicy. read more

I enjoyed all the food. I had green curry with pork, ribs, pad thai with chicken, and Thai basil with shrimp. It all tasted delicious. I only have small criticisms. The server said the green curry was medium hot and pointed to the chili symbol in the menu. I asked him if it was medium Thai hot or white person. He said Thai hot. It was perhaps white person medium hot. There was barely any heat at all. Definitely, not even mild Thai hot. I was wanting and expecting it hotter. Second criticism, I asked for extra peanuts in pad Thai. I didn't taste any peanuts. I did see some and mixed them in, but it didn't have extra. I was going to ask for more, but noone checked on me until I was done eating the main meal. Last criticism, the shrimp are small and few. Only about 5 in the Thai basil dish. . Honestly some of the worst service I have ever received. We are visiting from out of state and eat Thai often, but we have never been to this restaurant before. The waitresses belittled us for asking simple questions treating us like we should know what this particular restaurant offers. I'm sorry I didn't know rice doesn't come with the curry, my bad. The way the waitress looked at us like we were stupid, we almost got up and left. The food was okay, but super bland.
