Let me start by saying the food is very good. My wife and I have visited this location 3 times. On our third visit they were very busy. They sat us uncomfortably close to another table even though other seats were available. They brought us water a few minutes after being seated. We sat with our water ready to order for around 15 minutes. We never had a waiter introduce or stop by.Our order was never taken, we're not sure how long it would have taken just to get our food out. Most guests around us were finished We were very hungry, so we left and went to Pei Wei down the road. The line for take out was long, but I believe a business should always prioritize the customers sitting in their facility. I used to love this place, the food used to be great. Stopped going because food wasn't as good and ever time I order my food spicy online they don't put any spice in it. Tried going back again yesterday. The crab rangoon was cold and hard. Not worth $9.50 for six of them. Again I asked for level 4 heat and got nothing. Spent $30 for this lunch for fried rice and crab rangoon, the price is crazy especially when you don't even enjoy your food. Won't be going back again. So sad read more

UPDATE/NOTE to others: I have been coming here for about a year now and never had a problem-- this rating is solely about the service. Thai Select states that they close at 9:30 p.m., but a few days ago when a friend of mine and I showed up at 9:15 p.m. (the Open sign was still on) we were told that the kitchen closes at 9 p.m. so that they could be closed by 9:30 p.m. I realize that 9:15 p.m. is close to closing time; however, anyone who works in the food industry knows that if you close at 9:30 p.m. that means you serve incoming customers until at least the closing time. This is just a warning to others who may try to show up between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. they will deny you service. read more

Busy place. Got my drink and I ordered appetizers then, thank goodness. (The appetizer came after the entrée anyway and was undercooked) the pot stickers remind me of the frozen ones you get in the bag at grocery stores The next ten minutes was spent watching and waiting. Looks like a little hole-in-the-wall in a strip mall setting and we just decided to grab bite of lunch without consulting Yelp. After we ordered I pulled up Yelp and I was pleasantly surprised to see their rating was a good one, that eased my mind. I just haven't had the best of luck with Asian food finds around Ft. Worth.... Anyway, my basil chicken was delicious and spicy. They give you a 1-5 scale for spiciness and I went with 4 and it was perfect for me. I probably could have gone with 5 but then it risked being too hot to be enjoyed. The space is a bit lacking in atmosphere/character but that is made up for in plentiful, delicious dishes. Was craving some pad thai today and have been wanting to try this place. Went in and placed an order to go, only waited about 10 minutes so that was good. I ordered the lunch pad thai (level 2 spicy) which came with a spring roll and salad. The veggie spring roll was really good, it came with the peanut sauce which was also yummy! The pad thai was just ok, it was sweet which threw me off. Also there was a couple pieces of chicken in it which was unsettling because I don't eat chicken, So I was paranoid about that every time I picked up a bite. The food is good but the customer service has always been crap. Every time over the 4 years now and than that I'd go customer service needs work and communication. Today I called in... well there's a back story for me calling in and not dinning in anymore, anyhow I walk in to pick up my order. As always I stand there waiting and there's workers (3 of them) just walking by no greeting mo communication like they don't see me. A lady asked my name and punch in stuff at the register told me my total and walked away ...So I wait some more and than another guy just watched it happen... and so another guy (3rd) person walk up to the register and ask do you need help? Every dish I have had at these restaurants are amazing. I'm hooked on their Masaman and Red Curry dishes. Ordered sweet and sour chicken and was not good at all. The chicken was a huge block of dry meat. There was nothing special about it. The sweet & sour sauce tasted different than any other sauce we've had before. And we eat Thai alll the time. The sampler was $8 and was so small it was not worth it. Update on Thai restaurant: I wrote a review on Google and Yelp about what happened two weeks ago. I got the owners attention, so she asked for Emily and I to come back in. They still don't substitute Thai rice, so I just ordered a side of it. But the Sacha, the manager was super understanding, and very nice. I apologized to her to, so all is good in the world! P.S. It's not the same how it used to be it's really sad when you go to an Asian establishment and they are skimpy on the rice, the curry was extremely salty and overpowering with tumeric flavor. While the food is delicious, the service is horrible! I misspoke; the lack of service was extremely disappointing! There were only four patrons and multiple employees just standing around, so there was no excuse for their lack of attention to their customers. We had to wave them down to even come again after our food was given to us. They didn't bother checking on us and when my sister accidentally spilled her drink, they didn't even care to offer to refill it amongst other frustrating things. This is the best Thai in Fort Worth! The owner/chef is local and her recipes are fantastic. We dine in or get take out every couple of weeks. I've had almost everything on the menu and it's always been delicious. Their definition of spice level varies quite a bit, so if you don't like spicy, don't ask for anything above spice level 1. I kind of want to give this place five stars. The food has been really good in my experience, especially the green curry. The drunken noodle has been pretty good, but not stellar. I've only been here for lunch (twice) and I like the lunch deal - something like $8.25 for an entree, spring roll, salad, and drink. Yeah I know, the spring roll and salad are a little unremarkable, but I've gobbled 'em up both times. Plus, you're coming for the entree. One thing that put me off last time were the servers, and I don't usually care about servers (I was one, and they need respect y'all). But this guy was like 17 years old and acted 12. He had no business being a server, and at one point sprayed a bunch of Axe body spray on himself not far from us. Oh, and there's another guy who never speaks and always looks annoyed, and I could tell he hated the younger dude. Haha... whatever. To their credit, there seems to be a nice manager (owner?) lady.
