We have been to Thai Spice many times. Tonight was a little different. 5 tornadoes tore through our area and Thai Spice happened to be open with power. It appeared many people like us did were looking for a place to eat. The staff handled the influx of people and the food was tasty. I always enjoy a large pot of tea and tofu and vegetables were a great light meal. What the restaurant lacks in ambiance they make up for in the quality of the food.

This restaurant is a favorite of mine. All the curries are delicious. Fast friendly service in a clean environment.

Thai Spice Westlake Ohio It's conveniently located in the strip mall with plenty of parking. This restaurant still has that old time mom and pop Asian family feel it's a definite classic type vibe with Auntie up front taking orders and the rest of the family in the back cooking and putting to go orders together. I always like to support a locally owned business. It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. Having said that the service was fast and efficient . It's also about being realistic about the food. This is not a mall based chain restaurant or a high end bistro somewhere. The food was well prepared hot and delicious. This is not only a Thai restaurant but have Vietnamese restaurant. So there's lots of variety in the menu. My friend had the Pho and he enjoyed it. We went during lunch and they had lunch specials for 10 bucks they also have dinner specials. I had the Thai style medallions of pork served with Jasmine rice it was delicious. Remember It's about expectations. I think it's good tie in Vietnamese food and it's well worth a visit.

Was pleasantly surprised by how good Thai Spice in Westlake, Ohio was. I had only ever gotten take out before. Their #tomkha Soup was amazing. I asked for very spicy. Check out the peppers. We had Vegetable Curry which my wife felt was on par with Siam Cafe. That's a tall order. We also had the chicken satay with peanut sauce and cucumber salad. On point. And their bbq ribs were a little spicy and a little sweet but seriously tender. Fell off the bone. A bite bite for sure. And finally a honeydew slush( bubble tea ) we will definitely return. Try it.

We've made several orders. Tonight was the worst. We ordered it at 7:00 p.m. 9:18, and it's still not ready. Worst service.

Pho Ever is a casual family-owned Vietnamese eatery in Lorain. My visit to this restaurant was not…read morepre-planned. I was in the area at the Lorain Library (main branch), and was craving a cozy meal. Pho Ever had a catchy name and was only a few minutes away (drive). What's more cozy than pho? I made a quick and good decision to visit. AMBIANCE: The restaurant is one open space simple cultural decor. The space well fits groups and single guests. Multiple comfy booths are available along one of the walls and there are plenty of tables. Decor includes Nón Lá (Vietnamese conical hats) around the perimeter of the restaurant, vases and flowers, wood carved rooster art, prosperity wall hanging with laughing Buddhas, and other decor typical of Asian restaurants. There is also a blue sky ceiling fragment. The atmosphere is very simple and casual. The restaurant is not the cleanest. That includes the floor, the bathrooms, the tables, and teapots. Everything could use a deep clean. FOOD/DRINKS: The menu features appetizers, rice plates, vermicelli stir-fry, pho, fried rice, ramen noodles, combination plates, and optional add-ons. Drinks were not on the menu. There are few pictures of the menu items to point you in the right direction. Each dish has alphanumeric value for simple ordering. I noticed that the prices are pretty value-oriented less than many other comparable restaurants. I ordered my default Vietnamese restaurant order - pho, rolls, and hot tea. More specifically, A3 (2 charbroiled pork rolls, $5), A4 (charbroiled chicken rolls, $5), P3 (pho with eye round steak and well-done brisket, $14), and jasmine tea ($2 for a tea pot). Rolls had a generous amount of meat. I loved pork rolls, but didn't like the chicken. I found it to be too dry. I did not use the accompanying sauces since spice is not my favorite. Pho included a large portion, plenty of meat, but the broth had some slightly lemony undertone that wasn't my favorite. Jasmine tea was perfectly hot and light. It was a very comforting meal due to hot tea and hot pho. I also loved that the food was delivered with a pouch with chopsticks, fork, spoon, and big spoon for pho. SERVICE: The service was very pleasant, quick, and accommodating. There was one waiter serving quickly filling dining room. He was excellent and very attentive! I was seated very quickly. My food impressively arrived within minutes. All other guests had all their questions answered with patience. Huge compliments on the service! The restaurant was extremely accommodating to groups. They expeditiously moved tables together for large dinner groups. I was at the restaurant before 6 PM and the restaurant was already almost full with more people pulling into the parking lot. It seems like it's a popular local destination. PARKING: There is plenty of parking available to customers. Dedicated parking lot rather than shared plaza arrangement. My experience was pretty positive. I was especially impressed with the excellent service. It wasn't the best Vietnamese food that I experienced, but pretty good for a casual Sunday meal. While I wouldn't go out of my way to travel here, I'd definitely stop in while in the area.

Service was very good. The fresh rolls were big but could have used a few more shrimp for the size…read more My pho Tia Nam was good but not great. The broth had decent flavor and they serve a good portion of meat which was tender. I would come back.

I went to Kent for an adventure, found Hue Banh Mi & Pho on Yelp! so I gave it a go. When I walked through the door I knew the food was going to be good because it smelled like I was in the kitchen hovering over fresh cut veg, fish sauce and lime. Yum. I got two pork banh mi and summer rolls. I ate half a sandwich and one roll at a nearby park and had the other half for dinner when I got home. The bread was perfect--crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The veg was crisp and refreshing and the pork delicious, tender and moist. The summer roll was good, peanut sauce was perfect and I got a side of nước chấm so I could double dip. I had the second sandwich for breakfast.* I happily saw they put mayo on the banh mi so I asked for none and they made it without. Yay or otherwise yuk. I will make a special 55 minute trip to eat here again. *I go between Detroit and Cleveland on the regular so I usually get a banh mi for the road and one for the next day. Hear me out--deconstruct the sandwich and wrap the veg in a moist paper towel and seal in a glass jar. Store the bread in the paper bag it came in and put the meat away as you normally would. The next day wet the paper bag and put the bread in the oven for about 5 mins. Reheat the meat on the stove top, reassemble and enjoy.

The carrots and jalapenos were fresh. The baguette was both slightly crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. This would be a solid 4 in NYC. In Kent, OH... it's a well deserved 5 stars.

In addition to pho, the restaurant offers banh mi and vermicelli noodle bowls, both of which I had during my most recent visit. I opted for the special banh mi ($8.95) and vermicelli bowl with grilled pork & egg rolls ($14.95). The banh mi came with some Vietnamese cold cuts, pate, mayo, pickled radish, carrots, cilantro, and jalapeño. The sandwich was delicious. I loved the bread, which was so crispy on the outside and so light & airy on the inside. The veggies were fresh, and the cold cuts & pate were flavorful. The noodle bowl was also tasty. The bowl came with a generous amount of noodles, a decent-sized portion of tender grilled pork, an egg roll chopped up into pieces, bean sprouts, carrots, and other veggies. It was served with fish sauce on the side, which I used liberally along with Sriracha. If you dine in, there is a big bottle of sriracha at each table. In addition to being delicious, the noodle bowl was so filling. Between the bowl and sandwich, I left the restaurant stuffed. The service was quick and friendly. The vibe is very casual. Kitchen, real food doesn't start until 1030. So essentially I went twice today lol On the first round, I got an iced Americano with a tablespoon of condensed milk, which was plenty sweet enough, and the espresso had really good, strong flavor. My daughter got the seasonal blueberry wildflower tea, it was a beautiful purple color, but it was a little too sweet for me. There is the option to add lemonade to the tea, but that would've made it so sweet. We also got a bagel with cream cheese and a Rainbow rice crispy just to get a little bite before we came back to order the real food. Once the kitchen was open, we went back, I got the iced coconut Matcha with Boba. It was really really good and quenching. We got all our food to go, the vegetarian fried dumplings, bibimbap with beef, a papaya salad and a veggie bahn mi. It was all very good, the papaya salad was not spicy at all. Next time I would forgo the meat on the bibimbap, all of this food had such great flavor, no meat needed. The guys working the register on both occasions were so patient and helpful. They were not annoyed at my questions at all. Only complaint is they need to be open in the evenings so I can get this for dinner! I have been wanting to go for a year or more but the hours make that limited. It's a casual, low key place, I enjoyed looking at the books and games

Everytime I visit my mom, we have to get pho, take out or eat in, doesn't matter. The menu is consistently delicious, curated with family recipes that make Superior Pho stand out amongst the other places in town. Sure it's small, literally off the parking lot (Danford Court) to be exact, but it's well loved and it shows in the eclectic mix of diners and well loved staff. The menu is also simple, but why add too many things that take away from the basics, big bowls of rare meats that cook in broth crafted for hours, you literally just need fresh basil lime and shoots with extra hot sauce to make one's mouth happy. I'm always a sucker for a V1 too, fresh ingredients make all the difference, the vermicelli is delicious as our their tofu rice rolls. On the way out, order a tea, no need to go somewhere else, it's hot and full bodied.
