Wow, wow, wow! This is definitely our new favorite Thai restaurant in the entire Sacramento region. We love how fresh and authentic the food is. We were a party of 6, everything looked so amazing that we ordered a huge spread. For appetizers, we had the chicken satay, grilled pork skewers, fried tofu lover, tofu fresh roll, calamari and pot stickers. Everything was excellent! Our personal favorites were the chicken satay and fresh roll. For Entrees we had chicken larb salad (so fresh, light and healthy), tom yum noodle soup, drunken noodles, prik khing and red curry with brown rice. Again, everything was delicious. The curry is very rich in flavor and not watery like other local restaurants and the brown rice is something you must try. The owner is very sweet and truly passionate about her craft. We look forward to eating here frequently. read more

WOW - just WOW!!! The Pad Thai served here was incredible, amazing, spectacular!!!! Definitely the best Pad Thai I have ever eaten and probably one of the best meals I have ever had, period!! We also had the eggplant and the shrimp fresh rolls, which were also superb!! The chicken satay was very good. The service was good, especially considering they were short-staff the night we went, and the staff were so friendly!! Will definitely going back soon, this is now our go-to Thai restaurant in Sacramento! And I repeat, the Pad Thai was so exceptionally excellent - it was so good!!! Try this little place! Had "Take out" Sunset Curry, medium spice- with brown rice-delicious. Pad Thai flavored just right with quality chicken. Thai time is the best time! Ever since I've eaten here, every thai restaurant has been a disappointment. Their pad Thai, pad se ew, cheese wantons and especially the curry puffs...so good. I feel so lucky to have this place in the Southside area not only because the food is amazing but because the owner is so sweet and makes me want to come back over and over. read more

I've eaten here twice now and it's probably the best Thai food I've had in Sacramento. The ingredients are fresh and the flavors are so good. I had the Tom Ka soup and the broth was delicious. I also had the Silver noodle salad with glass noodles and fresh veggies and the texture and taste was amazing. Was so refreshing during this heat wave we've been having. This is my new favorite Thai restaurant, and one of my favorite Sac restaurants period. We had the curry cheese fries, avocado green curry with scallops, and pineapple fried rice. It was all very fresh, seasoned well, and cooked perfectly. And the service and vibe were great. Great food. Was there on short notice but no matter the restaurant was not full and found easy parking right across from it. Will be going back to it soon. We were a 2 couples with veg and non veg preferences and all of us has a great time. The fried tilapia and the papaya salads were the highlights. However, I find the food at Thai Time to be fresher, more flavorful, and less sweet than Coconut down the street. Thai Time is truly exceptional, easily ranking as one of the best, if not the best Thai restaurants I've had in the Sacramento area. I had the Basil Fried Rice and Tom Kha, and both dishes were outstanding. The flavors were vibrant and perfectly balanced, showcasing authentic Thai cuisine at its finest. Even though I got it for takeout the restaurant was large with great ambiance. So I'll definitely be dining in sometime soon. What really impressed me was the owner's hospitality. She was incredibly kind and welcoming. I accidentally left without my Thai tea, and she went above and beyond by calling me and walking it outside to ensure I didn't miss out. We had the owner that helped us and took our orders, it was our first time here and she treated us like we were regulars, so nice and helpful and the food was so good. Loved the atmosphere very clean. I appreciate the music was loud enough to hear but not blasting like a lot of restaurants these days, so I could actually have a conversation without yelling. Ordered takeout. Great panang curry and drunken noodles. Probably some of the best I've had in the midtown area. The Thai hot on the drunken noodles was great...really hot but didn't totally blow out the food. The panang curry, hot, was hot but I may have been able to handle a little more heat. If you're looking for amazing food and good service go to Thai Time! The wonton soup was great, the Royal Pad Thai was delicious but the real highlight was the BBQ Platter. I'm on the hunt for all amazing thai food. This place has the best pork belly dishes I've ever had. It's flavorful yet still retains its crispiness. You can add it as a meat option to any of the entrees. The hostess who also seems like she may be the owner is super sweet. She works super hard and is always smiling! My sister and I shared the Tom Kha, eggplant with beef, and yellow curry with chicken- yummy! We have different heat level preferences, so it was a perfect mild for me as prepared. The heat level for the whole dish can be changed by request, and sauces are available on the side. We were the only people there around noon, understandable since they opened a few days ago. I got off work at 8:20pm or so and it was a bit of a rough shift. I decided to go get a cider after work around the corner, at Thai Time. The owner, Thammasorn, and I sat and talked for a while. We griped about the industry a bit, and how rough it can be when you elect to work hospitality sometimes., etc. I was trying to decompress, was watching tv, and sitting on my phone. She brought me a spring roll as I sat there. I asked if it was a mistake, or something. She told me no. She just likes to take care of people she likes. I asked her for a box because I'd already eaten, and immediately she said so sweetly, "are you taking this home to share with Clay (my fiancé)?" She brought me something Clay is able to eat, knowing his food allergies. For the love of god, go to Thai Time. This restaurant deserves all of the patrons. read more
