Excellent service with great tasting food. One of the best pad thai places we've eaten in a while. The braised beef noodle soup is also very good. The beef was so tender and you get the option of flat noodles or regular noodles. I opted for the flat noodles which went very well with the beef. We also ordered the lychee iced thai tea as well the regular thai tea. We didn't get to try the lychee thai tea as soon after it was brought out, they took it back saying the lychee wasn't good. They brought out a regular thai tea instead. Plenty of seating for small or large group. They also have outdoor seating. Overall, very happy with the food and service.

Food was little salty but the appetizer set was so delicious! Service was good it might take some time for meal to come since they freshly cook for each dish just be mindful of it.

Lunch special is phenomenal. Chicken pad Thai is about $12 and comes with a spring roll or other choices. Great amount of food for a low price. Service is extremely quick and the lunchtime it seems is super popular for folks to come in and with good reason. Overall ambiance is nice it's more of a hole in wall place which is certainly my vibe. I will be back!

I remember first coming to Thai Village almost 20 years ago and being blown away by the food. At the time, I hadn't experienced enough Thai food, nor were there the plethora of Thai restaurant options we see today in the area. Over the years, I have had less than stellar experiences, so it's safe to assume that the overall low rating is based on years of prior reviews. Thai Village has been under new owners, since 2020 and I must say that our meal was fabulous. Undoubtedly, the biggest plus for this place is its prime location right on Nassau Street in Princeton. We had lunch here on Saturday - we ordered the Tom Yum Soup, Thai Basil Chicken, Sweet and Sour Thai Vegetables, and Tofu Drunken Noodles. Our party of 4 devoured everything and the food was flavorful and delicious. The portion sizes were on the smaller side in relation to the prices and when compared to other places. Overall, a good food experience.

Smallish but authentic place. Quick serving put please request (plead) them to clean frying pans if you are 100% vegetarian and want to avoid cross-contamination.

This place is excellent. The prices are reasonable unlike Amazing Thai. Lil Thai Pin is horrible, see my review. Their wide egg noodles are amazingly soft. The owner gives great service and is kind. I had the braised beef flank noodle soup. I was chasing the flavors of Vietnamese pho, but this was a bit spicier with chili oil. Still, the noodles were amazing, and the beef was so tender and flavorful. I also had the mixed vegetables dish, with added beef. This was also excellent with fresh crunchy veggies and soft beef. I wish it didn't have excess brown gravy though. I was chasing the experience of Palms Thai on Hollywood Blvd in Hollywood, CA, which is amazing. This was close. If you don't want sweet, I would strongly recommend drunken noodles with beef. My tab came out to $28, $34 with tip. No drinks except water.

Service - GREAT. very polite. FOOD - really good. The spring rolls (fried) are a bit bland but the sauce makes it. The Ginger Fried Rice is delish I love the strong ginger in there but too much fish sauce. The Green Curry is dynamite! I got medium spice level and it's not too spicy. The green curry was packed with veggies I loved it! COVID-19 - sat outside and at at the restaurant. Got bottled water as I wasn't comfortable with a glass. the staff was wearing masks and gloves and sanitized between customers. Whatever they sanitize with smelled strongly of alcohol which put me at ease actually to know they are sanitizing well. You cannot go inside the restaurant at all, you just sit at a table and they bring a menu to you.

I've eaten here both before and after covid. I've noticed the prices have gone up, service has gone down, and the portion size stayed the same. Taste is ok but overpriced IMO. Space inside the restaurant is still cramped. They also started charging customers the Credit Card service fee on the receipt..

I've been going here for years: before all the newer Thai spots popped up, Thai Village was one of the few Thai spots in the area. I like that I know what I'll get, it's nothing fancy but it's to the point and fills your craving. They did recently get a new management and I did notice the prices went up a bit. I usually get the veggie or chicken pad Thai. Their Thai iced tea does not disappoint. Their roti canai appetizer comes with two pieces of warm roti and the sauce is tangy and sweet.

Prices: The prices here are pretty much similar to other ramen/noodle shops anywhere you go. Basically, it is a decent price for what you get now a days. Taiwanese popcorn chicken: This was cooked thoroughly and was delicious when you bite into it. This was definitely worth ordering if you decide to come here. Ultimate Lanzhou beef noodles: My brother said this noodle soup was not spicy at all. In fact it had too much of the black vinegar taste instead. The beef was cooked thoroughly, and the noodles were just all right with nothing special. Lanzhou beef noodles: The soup base for this noodle soup was very bland as if it was just soaking in water. The beef did not have flavor but was cooked thoroughly. The noodles would have tasted a bit better if the soup base had a little flavor to it. Overall: I might give this place a try again if I ever come back down to the Princeton area. Otherwise, I probably would not take the 1-hour drive down here just to dine at this noodle shop. A suggestion would be that they should try to perfect the soup base as the noodles are already good.

We loved them all especially the wontons in the authentic sauce as it should be (not in sesame or peanut sticky sauce), the salt/pepper chicken as how I remembered from back home, the delicious noodle soup with tender beef and tendon, and the flavorful black bean fish. The restaurant is nice and clean. They're busy but the kitchen was pretty quick. The waitress brought out the dish as it's done, not waiting to serve all dishes at once. Even if there is a wait, we have never waited longer than 30 minutes for a table. The service is very prompt and waiters are very good at checking on you and refilling your drinks, cleaning up your table, or asking you if everything is good. The food is ordered via paper and pencil, you select what you want and provide it to the waiter. They send the order to the kitchen and you receive the food when it comes out. For an AYCE buffet, the fish quality is consistently pretty good at Hiro. They offer Nigiri and Sashimi on the menu, as well as classic and specialty rolls. If I could suggest one thing it'd be adding hand rolls to the menu. The tuna and salmon here are consistently good and the yellowtail was surprisingly good. They have a bunch of different appetizers ranging from edamame, sushi pizza, to tartar, most of them are actually very good. The kitchen entrees are very good as well such as the kimchi fried rice and the Mongolian beef. Although it's not the most spacious inside, the way they set up the booths and tables it gives you enough separation from other tables to not feel super crammed inside. Highly recommended for an AYCE sushi spot in Central NJ!
