Absolutely fantastic little Thai place! The attention to detail is fabulous, from the ample shrimp and beef given in their curries to the fresh roses on their shining wooden tables. :The pumpkin curry was especially good, and the broccoli in the pad see re was perfect. The drunken noodles is so delicious! The noodles were perfectly soft but well done. Came here for a quick lunch and it was so good I ate the whole plate. Ordered a Thai iced tea and they even made a handmade rose on top of the straw! So cute! Service was fast and all of our orders were fantastic. read more

The food. If you love Thai and want the best Thai in town. Come here and try the noodles, rice dishes, and Thai tea. Everything melts in your mouth. You won't go home hungry because the portions are great for sharing. We had the drunken noodles with chicken, pad see ew chicken, green curry chicken, and some beverages. Service was great. First, I think Vancouver is overly proud of their food. Any traveler likely needs to knock a star of all Vancouver reviews. The food was decent, but nothing great. The spice rains is just plain dumb. I couldn't believe there was a restaurant in Vancouver, WA of all places that was 5/5 stars on 450+ reviews. I was even more surprised when we pulled up and it was a very unassuming restaurant in an unassuming strip mall on 4th Plain Blvd. It's truly a rare feat to have a perfect yelp rating after so many reviews, but I can now see now why people have continuously given this place a perfect rating, and I overwhelmingly agree with that assessment. The staff are all super pleasant and friendly. The food speaks for itself too; it's PHENOMENAL! For entrees, we had the SS Duck and the Shrimp Pad Thai, both incredible. The duck was cooked to perfection, and the Pad Thai was very flavorful and well done. Only complaint I had was that, despite ordering the pad thai a 3/5 on the spicy scale, it felt like it was more like a 4/5. Now I know different thai places have different measurements of spicy, so I'm not sure if their spicy quotient is just really amped up, or if somebody made a mistake? Either way, definitely not enough to knock off a star. Cannot wait to come back and try the Garlic Duck and other dishes recommended by other people. This place is definitely Vancouver's little treasure, and I finally have a good excuse to make the trek over to Vancouver :) read more

Very friendly staff and quick service. It is a small place so while dining in was fine, we will probably order from them more for take-out. We shared the calimari appetizer and an order of drunken noodles w/chicken, which was just the perfect amount for two of us to share for dinner. The calamari came with a different kind of sweet chili dipping sauce which was good, but the calamari itself & the tempura it was breaded with was pretty bland. The drunken noodles with chicken were delicious and had a good amount of veggies in the dish as well. We ordered some chicken fried rice to go to have the next day, and that was just okay...somewhat bland (the rice was still pretty much white, didn't look like it had any seasoning at all) and not at all as flavorful or seasoned as fried rice we've had at other places. read more

I gotta say, I'm COMPLETELY dumbfounded by the number of 5-star reviews for this restaurant. We were excited to try it, since it's in our neighborhood and seems to have overwhelmingly positive feedback. Background: we love Thai food and have tried several Thai establishments in Vancouver, and have enjoyed almost all of them (some more than others). But in general, we're not hard to please. First, the PROS: The atmosphere is warm, clean, and charmingly decorated--I'll give them that. I thought noise might be an issue since it's so close to the road, but it's really not. There's ample parking as well, so that's a plus. Portion sizes were also generous. But the FLAVOR... My husband ordered pineapple fried rice with medium spice, which came out completely pale as if it had hardly been fried at all. It looked and tasted like a Lean Cuisine Dinner, or one of those frozen rice meals from Trader Joes. The variety of ingredients was great, but the taste was virtually non-existent. I ordered the rama chicken. The sauce had only the faintest hint of peanut flavor, and the rice was very dry--so much so that it wouldn't stay on my fork. The flavor overall was extremely bland (which says a lot since I typically prefer things on the milder side). We tried to nicely bring up the lack of flavor and spice to our waitress, to which she responded by bringing us a bottle of sriracha. Honestly, we were pretty heartbroken, because we were hoping to find a decent Thai place in our neighborhood. But we wound up only eating a few bites, paid our bill, and went to Taco Bell down the road on our way home. Reading all these other stellar reviews makes me feel like I'm living in some sort of Bizarro World, cause I definitely did not experience what these other diners had. Excellent! My first thai place in Vancouver and I'm happy with it. Hubby ordered yellow chicken curry and I had house shrimp fried rice. Portions were large and had quality ingredients. My shrimp was PERFECTLY cooked and plump. Plenty of pieces for the giant serving you get as well. They offer different spice levels also, so if you like spicy thai food, or low heat, you have the choice! Service was fast and friendly. Restaurant was clean and quiet, even with a decent amount of young kids eating with their families. Prices were good as well. read more

We came here on a recommendation from someone - and it didn't disappoint! We haven't ventured out *too* much on their menu, buttttttt....we really love the pad si ew (N2 on the menu)! We're vegetarian, and this dish is tasty and comes with a variety of tasty veggies (read: not just all cabbage!) mixed with their yummy sauce! The interior is clean and pleasant and modern. I have been to this AMAZING place so many times with my family since discovering it. I make sure to take all of my friends too! Let me start by saying that everyone who works there (in the history of us coming here for food) has always given us the absolute best service. All of the staff is friendly and welcoming! Ordered take out the other night.. Had to try this place because of all of the awesome yelp reviews... Ordered the drunken noodles (Pad Kee Mao) and the moon wonton, crab appetizer deals. The guys helping us were incredibly gracious and accommodating. And this was the first asian restaurant EVER to not hassel me about swapping an ingredient out. They actually replaced the mushrooms for some baby corn. AMAZING!! The restaurant was also incredibly clean, I mean really clean!! And it had wonderful ambiance. Great for a date! ;) The guys offered ice water while we waited. Our meal... There was enough pad khee mao for a couple meals. It was really delicious and so flavorful! Next time, I'll try to get the heat down a bit though... The moon crab appetizers were also very good. Next time we go, I'm ordering the garlic crispy duck!!! I would've ordered it already, but felt in the mood for a noodle dish. I've been waiting for some good crispy duck for YEARS, hopefully they deliver. I'll update with picts. I'm so disappointed to write this update. I used to recommend this restaurant to everyone and say this way the best Thai food in Vancouver/Portland but not anymore, as it seems to have gone downhill :( I've been raving about this place to my family for months and finally had the chance to take them. We all were not impressed. Yakisoba was bland and flavorless. Took one bite and that was enough. It seems the only spice in it was the pile of black pepper thrown on top. The crab fried rice we always get doesn't come with the crab claws anymore and tasted of mostly overcooked eggs. Crispy garlic duck was still pretty good but didn't have nearly as much flavor as it usually does. Not very important but the presentation has gone down as well. Used to be beautifully presented dishes you could see that care went into. Now looks like it was just dumped on a plate. I hope this was just a one time experience and they were having a bad day or something. But for now, I'm so sad... this breaks my heart as the search for amazing Thai food in the Vancouver/Portland area continues once more... read more
