Great! Recommended by a friend, we were so pleasantly surprised coming in here and have been back a few times since. Staff is always friendly, service is good and house tea is hot and good. WE have had the panang curry, yellow curry, basil fried rice, sweet and sour duck, fried egg rolls and a few other things. It has been our expereince that the porions are very fair for the price (which is not expensive) the dishes apre prepared deliciously and the homemade peanut sauce is fantastic! I am not going to go into describing every dish. I just want to say that the food is fabulous and the best we have had in the Portland/Vancouver area. Try for yourself and see! My go to place for Thai food whenever I get the chance to stop by Vancouver, Washington. My first time trying this place was last year and their food quality is still as good as ever. Keep in mind that the Thai chili that they use are pretty spicy & their servings are generous! COVID has killed this place! I sort of minded the price hike last year and with all the shipping issues and price increases for ingredients this year I get why things have gone up! But after our meal last week I think their done for! The food had no flavor everything looked right but lacked the punchier elements it used to have. Salad rolls were limp and the peanut sauce that used to cause fights over who'd get the last, mostly sat barely touched. The silky sauce of drunken noodles was nowhere to be found. And lastly how can you turn pad thai into a ball of sticky noodle without bean sprouts fish sauce or palm sugar? I don't know but this cook managed to do it! Really good food. Super busy during the noon hour and for good reason. Runs a little spicy so be careful! My first visit I had a medium veggie and tofu pad Thai which kept my lips tingling deliciously for a good hour afterwards. Companions enjoyed their drunken noodles and mango chicken (which was gorgeous). Salad rolls aren't on the lunch menu but still available on request and worth it!! Pineapple fried rice was somehow lacking flavor and had a gross texture. Not as good as the other local Thai places anyways. Not inedible, and the portion was very large so I actually had some leftovers. I managed to finish the entire plate although I felt like I was reluctantly forcing it down. Not terrible, just not something I would recommend. I can't quite put my finger on what was wrong with it. Service was acceptable from what I can recall. The restaurant is small and casual, so the awesome service might surprise you. Servers are super attentive. Hang on, because the amazing food will be an even bigger surprise! I had the shrimp rolls & garlic duck. The rolls are huge and packed, they look like the salad rolls in Vietnamese restaurants but bigger and come with their unique peanut butter sauce. Pre-Covid, we would visit Thai Wok Kitchen nearly once a week. During the shutdown, we accepted our fate, stayed in, and looked forward to the future. A future in which we could again laugh, eat, and be merry in the warm, aromatic embrace of Thai Wok Kitchen. This evening, we finally made the trip back. It brings me great displeasure to report that the original Thai Wok Kitchen we all loved, is dead. New ownership has turned what was once a fantastical refuge of genuine hospitality and amazing food into yet another "good enough" strip mall Thai spot. Thai Wok Kitchen is by far my favorite go to place for Thai food in Vancouver and Camas. I love in the heart of Camas, WA but would still rather drive 20 minutes each way passing up over a dozen similar Thai restaurants to come here. The service is wonderful, and I have never ordered anything here that I wouldn't recommend. The staples and 'signature dishes' are great. I am a big fan of their crispy duck while my wife loves their papaya salad (she always asks for 3-4 spicy and adds about a dozen shrimp). I typically order to go bc we had toddlers at home and eating out can prove to be difficult. That being said, I've brought my whole family here before and they made wonderful accommodations for my daughters. I'd also recommend you try their Thai Iced Tea. Well if that's the case, you can add me to that group! We had 3 dishes. The first was a shrimp appetizer. It wasn't bad. It was pretty average. Then heaven arrived: the garlic duck. It was pretty fantastic. All 3 of us loved it. Duck was cooked just right, and while there was a lot of garlic, there was a lot of other flavors going on too. Drunken noodles were also pretty good. The charming decor and fun chalk wall that use to be in the hallway to the bathroom is totally ruined by storage clutter. Every meal I order is so tasty. If I had to choose two, i really like the garlic duck or drunken noodles. You also have to have the Thai iced tea with every meal. Thai Wok Kitchen consistently delivers good Thai food when I'm craving it most. They are conveniently located and the food is ready quickly, regardless of if you're dining in or taking out. I called 15 minutes before closing once and asked if it was too late for take out. They said as long as I could get there before closing it was fine. They offer standard Thai dishes. Personally, I think the green curry is the best, but you can't go wrong with anything here. It's all good. We came due to the good Yelp reviews on our way home from Portland to Seattle. The restaurant is located at the end of a strip mall. The inside is clean with very little decor. We ordered Larb with chicken, Massaman curry with pork and Phad See Ew with beef. Thumbs up on the first 2 but not so much on the noodle dish. The beef was on the tough side and it was way too salty. If you order this, ask for less soy sauce. Other than that, portion size was generous and service was prompt. Delicious! What a find in such a sleepy little town. We were just passing through and saw the Yelp ratings so we decided to give it a try and are so glad we did!
