I was looking forward to this because it had been a crazy day at work, and I was finally able to take a late lunch. I called in to place a takeout order (1 order of drunken noodles), and I was quoted 15-20 minutes, which seemed longer than usual to me. But maybe they were busy around 3pm on a weekday? I get there around the time it should be ready. The restaurant is completely empty aside from the staff, and my food is not ready...in fact, it hasn't begun to be made. The manager runs my card and says it'll be a few minutes as it was being made and the chef just walked back in. She said it should be quick since it's a stir-fry. Hmmm...sure, ok. I've been back a few times since my initial visit in 2012 and have never had a disappointing experience here. Now, I do feel a built guilty for not having diverted from my usual selection of the Drunken Noodles (3 spiciness), but I just can't help myself, they are so delicious. But I will just reiterate that this is a great place for lunch. Food usually comes out quick and for just under ten bucks you get your main dish, a choice of pot stickers/rolls, and a salad. This was my second time trying. Both times I ordered for pickup. I ordered the pad Thai and did not taste like traditional pad thai - it had a very cheap taste to it. I thought maybe it was just a bad day so I decided to try again. This time, I called 30 mins ahead of time and they didn't have my order ready when I got there. The portion size for the curry is way too small especially for the price compared to other restaurants and the flavors don't taste like curry I've had in the past- very very salty. I went here for lunch. It was a pleasant surprise. A colleague recommended it and it didn't disappoint. The place is small, so get there early if you wish to dine in for lunch. For $9.95, you will get a salad, spring or egg roll and your main dish. The customer service was good. They were a little slow at taking our order (I went with a group of three including myself) which surprised me that they were slow, because we were seated immediately and our drink orders came shortly after. Nonetheless, the meal made up for it. I got the drunken noodles. I apologize now. I fail to take a photo of the meal because I devoured it upon arrival . I've been to this location several times now. Very little was consistent, except the service. Good: On two occasions I had very excellent food. Spice was just right and very tasty. Ample parking. They updated the menus and they're much easier to read. Bad: Inconsistency in food prep. Dishes come out one at a time, instead of everyone at the table receiving theirs at the same time. At each visit I have had really bad service. They're inattentive and stumble with their English. It makes ordering interesting when you want a dish prepared a specific way. For instance, asking for a substitution... You really don't know what you're going to end up with. Overall, this place is really hit and miss. If a friend suggested it, I won't object. I was looking forward to a really good Thai dinner. Chose this restaurant because of the great reviews especially about the Shrimp Pad Thai. What a big disappointment. It was mostly noodles with a minuscule of bean sprouts. I ordered it #4 on heat and that was the only flavor. BIG disappointment! My husband ordered crab fried rice. With beef. It was so bland, rice overcooked, no flavor of crab and the beef tasted like it was boiled with no seasoning or flavor, The absolute worst Thai food we have ever had. When we complained of the quality of the meal they just said oh sorry like they were used to hearing that. I don't know how they can ever get good reviews. Really enjoyed my meal at Thailicious. The food came out fast no hot, the service was good, and the price was very reasonable. I had the Green Curry and my cousin had the Yellow Curry. My green curry had lots of great flavor, but I didn't like the eggplant that was added to the dish. The brown and the jasmine race was cooked perfectly. Ok, I LOVE Thai food. Give me a Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, or Red curry over a burger on most days! The fam. and I entered before the dinner rush, so the restaurant was completely void of patron presence. We were sat promptly, and our order was taken with friendly and efficient service. I was indecisive. I couldn't seem to choose between a red curry or the drunken noodles. Luckily, the manager was nearby to give me an opinion. I ended up with the red curry ($12), and it did not disappoint. My husband chose to go with the Three Fish ($17). To me, the dish reminded me of orange chicken except with fish. It was very tasty. The kids ordered the chicken lo mein, and although it didn't look like much, the noodles were deceptively delicious. Garlic flavor permeated through the dish. For dessert, we had the mango sticky rice ($8). The mango was sweet and plentiful, and looked gorgeous next to two mounds of sticky rice. I love this dessert and order it whenever I dine at a Thai restaurant. The only reasons why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is the price per portion. The curry seemed to me to be very small for $12. A new Thai restaurant opened up in town! We were sooo excited. We love Thai food! And it's so close, too! First, the good. The service was top-notch. Everyone had a smile, drinks stayed replenished, and we had multiple people attend to us. One lady even kept bowing. And the bad. The prices were on the high side. Like $9 for chicken satay appetizers. The menu was also uninspired, especially the curries. I had to flip through it a few times to find something that I couldn't have easily made myself at home. I gave up and just ended up getting the Oyster Sauce dish because I love mushrooms. I did not care for it. In fact, I threw away the leftovers on the way home. Frank thought his curry was good, but the portion was too small. He also didn't think he got enough rice. It really pains me to write this review. Really, it does. They still have the "GRAND OPENING" banner in front and everything. And we really wanted to like this place, too. But nevertheless, this is my least favorite Thai place, and I don't think I'll be going back. I think that warrants a review. Try veggie summer rolls with peanut sauce, tom yum shrimp soup...3 on the heat scale, jasmine rice, green tea and a coconut ice cream to COOL it all down. Thailicious is DELICIOUS! Great new place and the staff seems to be working hard to make it a success. The food is excellent, cooked to order, so it's not on your table 5 minutes after you order, but that's a good thing. Reasonably priced and ******while they don't have a liquor license yet******, you can BYOB until they get one. Central Market is right there, so between that information and the proximity of a huge wine store, you've got no complaints on that front. We've done both sit-down and take-out and it's been consistently tasty each time. This is a tough location, so I hope they make it!!! read more

I love Thai food, and was very excited to try out a new place. They close at 10, and we got there at 9pm and they acted like we had walked in 2 minutes before closing or something. The service was not friendly at ALL. I was in a good mood though, so I said, no worries and asked to order something to go. I was discussing what I wanted with my husband, and the woman was like is that what you want?! and put it in the computer before I really confirmed it. My husband was annoyed by the rush, especially considering several people came in and ordered after us, so why the huge hurry hurry? She was not any friendlier to them, one woman was asking about recommendations because she had never eaten Thai, and the woman basically shrugged at her. The service for me on this night really knocked down their stars. I do not like rude people. My husband ordered a curry and asked if he could get the vegetarian duck in it and was told flat out NO. He said it was still very good, very thick sauce. I ordered a 3 Flavor Tofu (or rather the woman ordered it for me) which was like a Thai version of sweet and sour tofu, it really was fantastic. I mean, really good and flavorful, enough to put them to three stars despite the service. I also ordered the sticky rice with mango, half the rice was hard, and the mango had parts of the seed still stuck to the bottom of it, so that was rather a bust too. Which is too bad, because the other pictures here make it look amazing. Basically this place was very uneven. Also the price is higher than other similar places in the area, but I suppose that is to cover location and the fancy chandelier-ed environment. Red curry (3/5) The only vegetables I saw were sliced bamboo shoots. The scale for curries seems to be on a different spiciness level from that of other menu items. I ordered a 3 to be safe but it was at least a 4. I eat a lot of Sichuan, Indian and Mexican spicy food and a 3 was definitely up there. The soup was also very thick and didn't have much character besides its spiciness, which made me wonder if the soup was made from a ready bought soup base. I had a very pleasant dinner here on Monday night. The staff was friendly, the food was tasty, and the restaurant is cute and modern. I liked. We shared an appetizer sampling, some of which was very good (potstickers, corn cakes, chicken satay) and the rest of which was a bit over-fried for my liking (egg roll, lo mein crusted shrimp). I liked the peanut sauce, and I am pretty picky regarding that. I would probably stay away from the sampling next time because I usually don't dig friend food, but I had a craving and it was definitely satisfied. For dinner we shared the Pad Kra Prow, a vegetarian dish with vegetables and eggplant. We had the option of adding vegetarian duck, and I wish we had, because that sounds pretty interesting. The dish was light and tasty, not greasy at all. The brown rice was particularly impressive -- it was so fresh and hearty looking! I have never seen such substantial rice as a restaurant before -- colorful, flavorful and textured. The decor is cute -- not particularly Thai themed, but nice for a date and modern to the point that you forget you are sitting in a strip mall restaurant. The staff was quick and my water was always full so I can't complain! All in all, I enjoyed myself and my food. I don't think we did the best job of ordering, since we only shared 2 dishes and went for fried on one end and super healthy on the other end, but I will def. be back for some noodles. Love this place even more every time I go! I usually get the chicken pad see ew (because I love the thick noodles) and it has failed to disappoint! The first time they asked me what spice level I wanted, I had no clue that a 3 would lead me to tears. But the flavor made it worth it. Next time though I was smarter and stuck with a 1 to be on the safe side. No years due to the spiciness level that time! Next I'll try for a 2 and hope I can find a great medium. I've also tried their Green Curry with chicken, which was actually the first curry I've ever tried and it did not disappoint! What I truly love about this place though is their Mango Sticky Rice. My absolute favorite desert! I crave this dish all of the time. And it's big enough to share (although I usually just eat the whole thing by myself). Definitely give this place a try! This place is yummmmy! I got the Green curry and Thai tea, and my man got some pad thai (pic attached)! Dishes run about $3 more than your usual thai fare around this neck of the woods (my green curry cost $11, versus the $7.50-8 I'm used to paying in Fort Worth), but I believe they make up for it in ambiance. It's casual-trendy, with chandelier lights and wall adorations, an overall clean modern interior. My green curry was well-balanced in terms of flavor. It wasn't overbearingly spicy or too sweet. Rather, the spiciness and sweetness of the coconut milk complimented each other quite well :). Same goes for the Thai Tea. It wasn't overly sweet~ I know plenty places around here make their green curries rather spicy (I was told that's how the legit green curry is supposed to taste: SPICY). But, I like tasting the subtle creaminess and sweetness of green curry and this place has it down. If you're more into spicy green curry, I'd advise against coming here for your green curry fix :p. My man said his pad thai was yummy, but didn't justify the higher price tag that he's not used to paying for thai food in Ft Worth. He gets pad thai in every thai restaurant and says it's really hard to mess up pad thai, haha. Judge for yourself. Service is meh, not fantastic but not poor. Been here three times so far, and haven't been disappointed yet. The pad thai is the absolute best, and the spiciness scale allow me to have it exactly as I want (3..yum) The thai tea is good, and they serve you enough to have leftovers. My boyfriend was not impressed with the fact they don't have hoisen sauce (even when we asked, the waitress gave us a puzzled look and asked "hoisen sauce? You mean soy sauce?") which he feels completes the chicken vermecelli bowl, so he did not enjoy that. Amazing atmosphere, very intimate and cozy. The service was ok, our waiter was gone after we received our food and only came to give us our check :/ All in all delicious food, could have better service, though. This place was super good. I got the yellow curry with tofu and my boyfriend got the beef pad Thai. Definitely one of the best yellow curries I have had, super creamy and a good portion.
