    Cajun fries
    Jennifer L.

Placed an order to go, got the Cajun fries and a bacon burger, extra pickles. Food was great! The Cajun fries were absolutely DELICIOUS! I think they're my fave, best fries I've ever had. Do yourself a favor - dip them in ranch!

I just visited the burger spot on Moreland Avenue. Cash was the staff who helped me and he has amazing customer service. The food taste great too!. I decided to get the jive turkey burger with cheese and crinkle fries. Everything was seasoned well so hot and delicious! When you are at that burger spot on Moreland, make sure you come by and check out Cash. He will take care of you and give you the best burger you ever had!

When I'm discussing the best burgers and wings, I have to mention this spot in my top 5. I get the Carolina sauced wings and the turkey burger with the fixings! The fries are crinkled awesomeness. My coworker stopped there for lunch and I put an order in and I've been ordering ever since. I even put my mom into this spot! It's right off of Moreland and has parking out front (small lot) but it's worth the traffic! Go and check it out! You won't be disappointed

Food was great, most well-seasoned burger patty I've ever had. They were a little gristle-y though. Cajun seasoning on the fries were a little oddly sweet but good. Would come back!

That Burger spot!!! I'm utterly disappointed!! First of all yall using beef patties, lettuce brown and cheese not melting!!!

Utterly disappointed!! Absolutely no stars!! Y'all using beef patties, lettuce brown, and the cheese not melting!!

I had a taste for a burger and remember seeing this place in passing. I checked the menu and was immediately interested in half the menu, but agreed on the salmon burger with an egg. I'm glad I did. The burger was really good and the fries were too. I placed the order online and picked up, everyone was friendly and I didn't have to wait too long when I walked in. I'll be back.

Popped in on Labor Day hoping they'd be open around 9:30pm and to my amazement, it was!! Food was fresh, hot and service was fast! Ordered at the kiosk. Tried the 50/50 turkey burger with crinkle fries. Will be back to try more

I love a great burger and I'm so happy to now know about THAT Burger Spot because they're the first place I think to visit when I'm craving one! Note that this restaurant is located in a very small plaza with limited parking at times. It's totally worth navigating through the lot to park and get your burger. The concept of the restaurant is great, in my opinion. Instead of placing an order with a person at the counter, I always immediately walk over to their huge self-ordering kiosks. You can't miss them! I love these because I'm able to take my time browsing through the menu options while seeing some huge pictures of each ingredient. We love picture menus! I think they're super easy to use, don't require you to be tech-savvy, and allow you to really see what you're ordering. Love it. The restaurant itself is designed to be pickup only, with 2 seats for those waiting for their orders but there are also a few seating options outside the door. The walls are adorned with murals of Atlanta legends and beautiful burgers. The wait can be up to 20 minutes or so sometimes, but at least you know that your food is being made fresh! You can look right into the kitchen and see the cooks making the magic happen. This isn't fast food, it's fresh food! The menu offers a number of house favorites if you're looking for one of their specialty burgers vs. going the freestyle route. But if you like to be in control of your burger toppings like me, the freestyle route is the way to go. Customers can choose from a number of different protein options like a black bean burger, fish, beef and a few other faves to start off their burger. Then you decide what kind of bun (or lack of bun), 1 type of cheese from their selection, and then you get to choose your toppings which is my favorite part because they allow you to pick up to like 15 toppings between the grilled and raw veggies at no extra cost. And that includes bacon and a fried egg - Love that! You can then choose any spreads and sauces that you'd like, the 24K is my favorite! My usual burger consists of: Lil Baby single burger, burger bun, pepperjack, bacon, grilled jalapenos and onions, sometimes an egg. I usually love veggies but I don't want them to interrupt my meaty experience. Each and every time, that burger hits! The buttery bun is always a favorite as well. The burgers themselves start at about $10 which is pricey but the portions are quality of the burgers really make it worthwhile. The $3.99 flavored fries don't come with the burger and I think that for that price they could toss a few more of those suckers in the bag lol. They are delicious though! I'm always wondering if they're from frozen or not, but I am a loyal french fry lover so I like them no matter what lol. The seasonings are a great way to kick them up a notch along with a side of their great sauces. Because I usually use the self-ordering kiosk I don't interact with the team until it's time to pick up my order. Every time I go to pick up my order, the team is super friendly! The experience from ordering, until the final bites of the burger, continue to bring me back to THAT Burger Spot again and again. They definitely have a foodie fan in me!

The small parking lot was full and lucked out with a spot on the street. I opted to order at the bar so I could enjoy a beer and where it is full service - otherwise it is ordering at the register when you walk in. Service at the bar was friendly, efficient and attentive. I ended up with a double beef burger (each patty is 1/4 pound) at $9, pimento cheese (.75 cents) and Grindhouse Sauce which was in the 1000 island / Mac sauce territory. I was undecided on a side so lucky for me there is a "Frings" option of 1/2 onion rings and fries ($5.75). The burger was a little on the dry side even with the toppings but the potato roll made it a little more interesting. The onion rings were great and can't go wrong with crinkle cut fries. Cold Tropicalia on draft ($8) served by friendly bar staff made it a really great experience. Even though this is not my favorite burger, the sides, the drink options and the overall vibe of the place with excellent service still will make this a place I could visit again. Maybe giving a different burger a try instead of a BYO like I did the first time out.

This isn't just a gimmick, though; the execution is legit. You can order a single or a double, and each patty is smashed fresh to order, delivering those lacy, ultra-crispy edges that define a elite smashburger. It's cradled in a potato bun that gets toasted to a perfect light crisp. They even offer generous toppings at no extra charge. Do not skip the sides or the extras here. The fry seasoning is incredible, packed with savory flavor that makes them impossible to stop eating, and their onion rings are a solid choice too. But the real secret weapon is the Sassy Sauce (or "smash sauce"). Do yourself a favor and get a cup on the side for dipping. it's that good. While it's tucked inside a convenience store, there's actually dedicated patio seating set up right behind the gas station if you want to sit outside and eat fresh off the grill. I'd take this over Mister Burger. NFA has that classic ketchup, mustard, and mayo flavor with its signature sauce, while Mister Burger is tasty but leans away from that traditional burger profile. I'm not ready to call it the best burger in Atlanta just yet. Fred's Meat & Bread at Krog Street Market is still my favorite, but Holeman & Finch is next on my list, so stay tuned. My only downside is the Dunwoody location, but honestly it wasn't bad. I made the trip from Buckhead and back in under 30 minutes. There were only two people ahead of me, and I had my food in about five minutes. I've heard the waits can get much longer during busy times, so just keep that in mind.

This was my first time making the walk from Ponce City Market to Krog Street Market, and honestly, that was part of the fun. Krog Street Market was a little smaller than I expected, but it was lively--and Fred's Meat & Bread seemed to be responsible for a pretty significant percentage of the crowd. I've been to another Fred's location before, but that visit was all about the cheesesteak. This time, I had one mission: the burger stack. And the first thing that hits you is the bread. Soft. Pillowy. Almost ridiculously good. It's the kind of bun that makes you stop for a second and appreciate the role bread can play in a burger. The burger itself is well seasoned and packed with flavor, but here's where I struggled. It's rich. REALLY rich. So rich that by the end, I was wishing for some kind of sauce or acidity to cut through it. Something to break up all that richness and keep me going back for another bite. But the pomme frites? Now THAT was the highlight. These weren't just fries thrown on the side. They felt elevated--crispy, delicate, and somehow giving me the feeling that I should be sitting at a little café in Paris instead of standing around Krog Street Market. Easily my favorite part of the meal. Fred's Meat & Bread is clearly a big deal in Atlanta, and I can absolutely understand why. There's real technique here, and the burger is certainly a valiant effort. But Atlanta has given me a LOT of burgers, and I've had quite a few elsewhere that I enjoyed more--and, more importantly, didn't leave me feeling like the burger was sitting on my chest afterward. Valiant effort. Great bread. Excellent fries. But for me, the burger didn't quite live up to the hype.

Holeman and Finch is known for its burger, and deservedly so, but I can't stress enough how good the other food and drink are here. Looking at the current list of Atlanta restaurants in the Michelin Guide, I think Holeman and Finch deserves to be included. I wonder why they got snubbed. Holeman and Finch relocated to Colony Square in Midtown in February 2023. The restaurant validates parking in the Colony Square garage for two hours. We stayed just over two hours and ended up paying $6. I like to enter and exit the garage via Peachtree St NE. There's also an entrance/exit on 14th St NE, next to The Starling hotel. We used to go to the original location in Brookwood/South Buckhead circa 2010 when only 24 burgers were made per night and released at 10pm. Holeman and Finch existed in that location from 2008 to 2020. It was quite the Yelp hot spot: https://www.yelp.com/biz/holeman-and-finch-atlanta-2 This new location at Colony Square is way more spacious and looks great. There's indoor and outdoor (covered and uncovered) seating. The atmosphere is that of a modern, upscale pub. It's nice. Reservations can be booked on OpenTable, so get those dining points. Our server said the brunch menu was served until 4pm. Here's what my wife and I had: Drinks: * H&F Bloody Mary ($14) * Iced Tea - half sweet, half unsweet ($5) Graze: * Naturally Served Oysters ($5 each) - cocktail sauce, mignonette, buttered saltines, horseradish - Lowcountry Cups - Charleston, SC - Dukes of Topsail - Topsail Sound, NC - Dixon Point - New Brunswick, Canada * Deviled Egg Trio ($9) - classic, country ham, and Pickapeppa mayo * Hand Chopped Sirloin Steak Tartare ($20) - capers, horseradish, egg yolk, chips * Simple Lettuces ($15) - citrus vinaigrette, crisp shallots, fromage blanc, pecans Sandwiches: * H+F Cheeseburger ($28) - certified Angus and Hereford beef, onions, Kraft, fries Plates: * Housemade Scottish Gravlax ($18) - toasted brioche, fried Pantelleria capers, lemon dill clabber * Holeman + Finch Vegetable Plate ($32) - "all that is best from our Southern farms" Dessert: * Sticky Toffee Pudding ($14) - vanilla ice cream Everything, down to the sweet tea, was fantastic. The Bloody Mary was strong and so delicious that I gulped it down. All of the dishes were beautifully plated and finished. The oysters were fresh, superb quality, and cleanly shucked. They forgot the crackers, but that's okay. I highly recommend the deviled eggs. They were perhaps the best we've ever had anywhere. If you're unfamiliar with Pickapeppa, it's a sweet and savory Jamaican brown sauce that is used to make the mayo for this dish. There was nothing "simple" about the Simple Lettuces salad. It was pretty much a perfect, tasty, and refreshing salad. As for the H+F Cheeseburger, it's a classic and continues to be one of the best burgers around. Every bite is just so good, and the ketchup and mustard remain distinct. If you've never had the burger before, get it here or at H&F Burger at Ponce City Market. The Truist Park version isn't the same and I've never tried the Mercedes-Benz Stadium version (the old Turner Field version was legit, though). If you like gravlax, wow - the gravlax here is amazing and really well made. The Vegetable Plate was terrific as well. It featured potatoes, okra, beans, succotash, mushrooms, onions, peppers, tomatoes, and more with a fried onion ring on top. It's a great dish to share. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was top-notch - exceptional texture and flavor, and perfectly paired with a scoop of dense vanilla ice cream. Our server was Jonathan R.
