I do also check the order as there have been a few times either cream cheese didn't make the bag or we were missing bagels. I love their cream cheese. something about it is so sweet and delicious. A cinnamon sugar bagel toasted with vanilla cream cheese is the ultimate. Easy parking. Right on route 10. I enjoy sitting outside in the summer time and watching the traffic while enjoying my bagel and schmear.

But what gets me is how many people who came in after me were getting their food. No, these weren't online orders. Also, you're a bagel place. You slice a bagel, throw it in the toaster. The speed on the conveyor should not be so fast that the bagel gets warm and not toasted. It's not like it got me out of there any faster that's for sure. And after toasting, show me one person who wants their bagel cut again in half so I am left with 4 quarters.

My husband called in a to-go order for a Double Stack and a Sriracha Honey Sunrise, and both sandwiches were completely wrong. The wrong bagels, no cream cheese, and zero attention to detail. It's basic stuff, but apparently too much for this location. When I called to speak with a manager about fixing the issue, I was put on hold for over 11 minutes, only to hear manager Emily loudly complaining about customers and their orders to a male coworker. He mentioned several times that I was still on hold, but Emily told him to "just hang up" on me instead of taking the call. I could clearly hear everything they were saying. When I called back, Anastasia answered and was very apologetic, but said Emily "couldn't talk right now." I could hear Emily in the background refusing to come to the phone. There was no apology, no offer to call back, nothing. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. This is the third bad experience I've had here, and it's obvious where the problem lies. Emily is rude, dismissive, and has absolutely no business being in a management position. A good manager leads by example, not by hiding from customers and dumping issues on her team. Based on other reviews, I'm clearly not the only one who's had problems with her. Bruegger's corporate should take a hard look at this location because Emily is the problem. I won't be coming back, and I'll be warning others to avoid this store until it's under better management. I genuinely feel sorry for Emily's employees.

Located in Unionville pretty close to the Farmington River, this adorable coffee shop will provide you the fuel before or after your walk. They offer lunch, breakfast and coffee options. They have a spacious interior as well as a few tables outside. Their large menu of coffee, teas and energy drinks was intriguing. I had to get the Peeps Latte when I saw it listed on their Specials menu. It was ready quickly. This was adorable looking, it had three colorful peeps sitting on top of the marshmallow cold foam. This vanilla based latte, was equally tasty as it was looking. After my pick me up, I picked myself up and went for a walk, the trial is really intended for cyclists, but we made do. It's so delicious and the color is beautiful, perfect for a Halloween/fall treat. The mocha has a rich, but there is a hint of coconut flavor--you don't actually taste the charcoal. Another thing that I like is their tea selection and season tea drinks. During my last visit, I had an Apple Pie Chai which paired well with my Pumpkin Scone. My all time favorite was their Blackberry Mint Chai in the spring. I loved how unique it was and the flavors really worked! My dad really loved their grilled cheese sandwich. It had Swiss, cheddar cheese and he added tomatoes. He says that Dom's makes the best grilled cheese which doesn't surprise me because of the Dom's Cheese shop that is located with the coffee shop. The more recently Luke's Donuts is under new ownership and they have reshaped the donuts to a more reasonable size, not eye popping like old, but served with pride and a huge smile. With open armed service and warm greeting how could one complain. Every time I drive by my taste buds start an argument with my better judgement. Tastebuds generally win.
