We found this bagel shop thru yelp and it was close to where we were staying. Nothing tastes better than a bagel from the east coast. Every time we visit, I NEED my bagel fix and this place didn't disappoint. Service was great. The staff were really friendly and we got our food quickly. They also have a good amount of seating to eat your food while its fresh. The bagel was perfect- i ordered everything bagel with chives cream cheese (very generous smear) with bacon and eggs. My bagel sammich was loaded My husband and son order a regular bagel with eggs and sausage. We left with full and happy bellies. read more

Food has always been good here but honestly should be called The Ripoff Shop. Double the price compared to other lunch establishments. This place has always been overpriced but just out of control. Ordered a Fitbit - egg whites, cheese and avocado (without the turkey) in a wrap -$12.50. I frequent another cafe bakery where I order bacon egg and cheese on a brioche bun for $5.50. Other bagel places in the area have bagel with Taylor ham egg and cheese (or bacon) which is expensive for 6.50. Most breakfast sandwiches in the area are $5.50-$6.50. $12.50 for a wrap, are you kidding me? Their bagel sandwiches at 9.50, just too much. I can also go to a restaurant we frequent on rt 17 and order a steak sandwich for 9.50. Just not feasible to go there anymore unfortunately. read more

Nice place on a corner with street parking. Approx 12 small tables to nosh in. Plenty of friendly staff on a recent Saturday afternoon. Much more than just bagels. ( pancakes, omelettes, sandwiches) 1st timer and had to test a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on a bagel. It was stacked! Loaded with Taylor ham slices too. ( I wonder if it was Taylor's brand because it was not as salty as expected; which is fine, but unexpected.) Plenty of cream cheese choices. The specialty of the day was Oreo cream cheese (!) They have a huge coffee machine that offers all sorts of coffee items (lattes, cappuccinos, etc) The espresso was excellent. They really keep that machine spotless. Only "meh" items I bought on a whim for that night's dessert was house-made ( prepacked in the refrigerated section) blueberry bread pudding and ride pudding. The Bread was not too flavorful and the The Rice was not cooked enough. (Hey, its a bagel store \ grill \ sandwich shop, not a pastry shop.) A definite thumbs up bagel store \ grill. Why are you guys closed Mondays too? Because I literally don't have another place as reasonably priced and delicious I can go to at 6 am for breakfast on Mondays!!!! I absolutely love their breakfast items especially the bagels and burritos. Burritos (The Heights in particular) is always super filling. The wait can be slow sometimes because they get crowded and busy, but the employees here are nice and try to be as efficient as possible. Small but friendly bagel shop. Got street parking which was not far. We each hit the Jersey's Best sandwich on pumpernickel and everything respectively. Delicious. The sandwich was comprised of Taylor Ham, egg, American cheese, diced onions and peppers. Fantastic the onions and peppers gave this a unique taste that we loved. Stopped in a few times to pick up bagels. The first time, I used it to make a breakfast sammie to bring on a super early flight the next day. It wasn't great. The next time, I made another breakfast sammie but this time ate it fresh and it was pretty good. Not sure it's as good as NYC bagels but it will do. Next time, I think I'll have them make the breakfast sammie, or perhaps try a breakfast burrito. The sandwiches for lunch sound pretty good too. read more

The Bagel Shop definitely got the job done. I liked the interior of this store a lot. It was very nicely decorated and the layout was nice and easy. I ordered a sesame bagel with Taylor ham egg and cheese and a side of seasoned fries. Quick and easy, I went in to order and everyone was friendly. There were a lot of people just picking up phoned in orders, I'll probably do that next time too. The bagel was nice, slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Good amount of meat and cheese. The fries were great too, crispy and seasoned just right. They have a lot of fun cream cheese flavors and even bialys on weekends! Gotta come back and try those. I love this Bagel Place by my home. Usually during weekends and during wfh days I stop by to grab a quick bite or just take out some bagels and coffee. You can order over the phone and have them prepare your order in advance or go there and order and wait for a bit as it's very crowded on a normal day. Ask them to toast your sandwich a lil more if you like it to be toasted. They have so many cream cheese options and out of them my personal fav is veggie cream cheese and sprint onion cream cheese and jalapeños cream cheese and.. lol by now you know I love their cream cheese. Also the only reason why this place doesn't get a five star from me is because very now and then they mess up my order and give me something else. But when you complain they do correct it right away. Their bagels are really fresh and soft and the coffee is amazing. Will definitely come back! read more

The bagel shop is a little more unique than a standard bagel place. Menu is a little more creative while containing your breakfast classics. There are specialty items for breakfast and lunch, and you can add whatever type of standard item to a bagel and turn that into a sandwich. There are a myriad of bagel flavors like chocolate chip, french toast, and standard garlic to accompany the myriad of spread flavors. Also offered are bagel burritos, never seen that before and definitely interested. So, you want a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel okay, you want a Poppy's sandwich they got that too. Bagels are not chewy, I'd say fluffy, eggs cooked correctly, not over done, but some runny yolk. Grilled meats aren't too greasy. One thing, the cooks should add salt. Service is good as well, staff is attentive and allows sampling of specialty cream cheese prior to committing to the flavor. Orders are entered quickly and ticket times do not take very long for completion; maybe five to ten minutes. Lastly, staff have food safety in mind; staff use gloves handling food items and remove them when handling money. That seems like an obvious thing to do but you'd be surprised. This place is pretty popular and product is turning quickly. I'm definitely visiting again and again because of their unique take on everyday breakfast and lunch items. read more

It seems like they sell other items such as bakery items like donuts and cakes. I ordered an everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese and enjoyed it. I found the bagel itself a little small in comparison to some of the other bagel shops I have been to. They put the perfect amount of cream cheese on the bagel. I walked into this shop, starving, after having Proctored an ACT all morning. I don't have a "usual", but I have to have a whole wheat everything bagel toasted, and I have to have eggs and ketchup. I went with the whole wheat everything toasted with provolone (American cheese sticks to the top of my mouth), egg, pepper (you don't need more salt with an everything bagel) and ketchup....I changed my mind - add Taylor ham (okay - so I love salt). It hit the spot. New paragraph - the store was new and shiny with a front and side entrance, and a large tv in the corner (not that I love ESPN Sports, but I'm all about equal opportunity). There were about 6-8 tables and plenty of space for the long lines that will be there soon, I'm sure. There was a visually pleasing refrigerated display along the length of the counter, below the cream cheeses. The staff are young, energetic and friendly. They seemed happy to be there. Can you believe it?! Happy! To be at work! I almost asked for a job application. I sat at a table while waiting for my sammie. The gentleman who took my order let me know mine was ready. He remembered me. I wasn't a number! He asked if I wanted a beverage. I considered. I hadn't thought about it. It didn't feel like an upsell. It was sincere. *Please keep in mind that this is based on my most recent experience* My first time ordering from this place, I would've given it 5 stars, just on the quality of the food alone. My second time, they got my order wrong.. They didn't follow the notes that I had put into Uber Eats, so they had to drive 20 minutes away (personally) just to deliver the proper meal (which I did appreciate). But then today, only 2 weeks later, I ordered again. And had the *exact* same issue.. When I called, I was told that they could see the notes, but the kitchen didn't follow the order. Then I was told that they couldn't deliver the right order at that moment because of how busy they were. Sure, they offered credit, but I said I wouldn't be ordering from them again.. It's a sad outcome, as I do like their food.. *when it's correct*. But if their kitchen can't read simple notes, then no thanks It doesn't take much to cook scrambled eggs and not fried eggs. It doesn't take more than two seconds to grab an orange juice and fruit cup, then throw them into the delivery bag. Such a disappointment. read more

My favorite bagel shop in town. The bagels are always fresh. I either order a bacon egg and cheese on a plain or Taylor ham and cheese on a roll or egg bagel. Love how they out come out every time. They don't skimp you at all how most places do. I always get a side of home fries and they are my favorite. I always dip it in honey mustard and I'm very picky when it comes to honey mustard but this place has the best! The workers are super friendly. 10\10 for sure! I was in the area getting a haircut and was out of the way from my original place I usually go to. I am a little upset I hadn't known about this place sooner. When first arriving everyone was very welcoming. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese and it came out quickly. I had to drive 25 minutes home and opened the bag and the bagel was super fresh and the bacon and eggs were still warm. Whenever I am in the area I am definitely going to stop by here again.
