The panini and salad was great. They also make their own salsa here. The wait staff was very nice when you order at the counter. A great place to have breakfast or lunch in Santa Ynez. The ambiance is clean with French posters nicely framed on the walls. There is also outdoor seating which is a dog friendly option.

Had a great breakfast at The Bakers Table. All ingredients are of top quality and deliciously prepared. If you peek through the window in the "employees only" area you can see the large professional bakery and bakers where the magic happens. We had the smoked salmon plate and the waffle with fruit and 2 slices of bacon. Both were outstanding I loved how crispy the and light the waffle was. I'd vote The Bakers Table as the #1 spot for breakfast in the area.

Is there such a thing as a hardcore foodie? I think so, I work with three at the local high school! I raved about The Baker's Table, so we checked it out. We ordered the breakfast sandwich, VG style with hash browns inside the sando, toasted to perfection. It's not on the menu, but they make it special for me. The ladies up front are always so kind, and whenever I see Amy, she greets me with a big smile and a warm hug. As my late wife always preached: Stay local, buy local, farm to table -- and vote with your dollars! This place rocks.

My boyfriend and I wanted to go out for breakfast so we decided to come to The Baker's Table for the first time! Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed was all of the yummy pastries in the display case. Pretty quickly my boyfriend and I agreed to split a Plum Cruffin. I ordered a cafe au lait to drink which turned out to be a generous size! They were very delicious. The cruffin was soft and sweet with a perfect combination of flavors. For entree, my boyfriend and I split two poached eggs on toast. They were admittedly a little plain, I think some hot sauce would've been perfect on top. However, it was perfectly prepared and yummy. Overall, the ambiance of The Baker's Table is really laid back and cute with various options! I'd go back again just to try more of the yummy pastries. If you're thinking about checking it out, go for it!

When in Solvang, CA, consider starting your day with breakfast at The Baker's Table. Don't let the line to order scare you as it moves at a decent pace. Order at the counter, receive a number, and your order is brought to your table (seating is available inside and outdoors). Service was pleasant. What we tried: -Breakfast burrito, which was stuffed with scrambled eggs, sausage, onions, and cheddar cheese. Comes with a side of fruit and some salsa, too. -Croissant sandwich - freshly baked, flaky croissant filled with scrambled eggs and  cheddar cheese. Comes with a side of applewood smoked bacon, too! -Iced mocha latte did the trick and gave me the morning pick-me-up I needed.

Stopped in for lunch and ended up really glad I did. I ordered the Reuben and an iced tea, and both were excellent. The sandwich was flavorful, and the side salad was fresh and well-dressed--simple but done right. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff made the whole experience even better--friendly without being over-the-top. Just a really solid spot for a good meal. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in the area

Was craving something sweet so we stopped by the bakers table. The pastries seemed to have sold out early which means this is indeed the spot for pastries in Santa ynez. We got lucky to still be able to get a slice of their carrot cake. It was so good each bite I took I kept looking down like how much is left in don't want to finish it haha. Next time we're in town I'll make sure to pop in earlier. Cute and cozy spot with indoor and outdoor seating.

This is my go to SYV Breakfast Spot. The staff is always on it and very polite and efficient. The food is always great and the atmosphere is perfect. Anyone who's given a negative have their own issues. Enjoy!

Picked up breakfast before heading out to the Olive and Lavender farm. Had a lovely picnic with delicious ham and cheese croissants and pastries and coffee. Great Customer Service as always.

This place is deservedly known for their pastries. You'll see plenty of them in their display case when you walk in. They also serve breakfast and lunch. They have an everyday menu on the wall behind the counter and also post daily specials on a blackboard. Order at the counter from the friendly staff and then have a seat in their casual & comfortable dining area; your order will be brought to you. My order: the Breakfast Croissant Sandwich and a hot vanilla latte. My vanilla latte was excellent with a smooth brew and light vanilla flavor. The sandwich was simply an over medium egg sandwiched between a croissant with a side of two strips of smokey, crisp bacon. What made it incredible was the perfect, fresh, flakey-layered, buttery croissant. This was a textbook perfect croissant that was so good I barely remember the bacon or the egg. This place is very dog friendly both inside or on their patio. I really enjoyed the cool relaxed vibe of the place. 4.5 stars rounded up.

Yes the whole menu is all day

Could I bring champagne on the weekend?

Most places in Santa Ynez allows you to bring your own beverage, however, they may charge a corkage fee. I'd say, bring your champagne.

The Caesar salad had the dressing on the side (not a problem).. but when I came to eat it the lettuce (no dressing on it) was beyond salty.. it was as if someone had poured salt instead of Parmesan on it. It was so bad that I threw it out and didn't continue to eat it. The sandwich was ok... but the bread was stale... and it honestly wasn't the fresh lunch I was expecting to have. I almost ordered a small charcuterie board for us to share but then thought it'd be too much food so I held off. The sandwiches were unique and not your typical tuna or turkey sandwiches. We were impressed with the taste and quality of the food in addition to the customer service. We ended up coming back a second time 30 minutes before they closed at 3pm. I got the tri-tip sandwich while my husband got the meatloaf sandwich. The owner even came out to meet all 3 of our Shih Tzu. We will definitely have to come back the next time we're in the area.

Stopped by Peasant's Deli and ordered the Tuna Sando and the Kobe Sando…read more The Tuna Sando immediately jumped into my top three tuna sandwiches I've had. It was loaded with flavor from the Conservas Ortiz white tuna, boquerones, piquillo peppers, egg, arugula, and tonnato sauce. Honestly, I took one bite and completely forgot to take a proper picture. That's usually a good sign. We also tried the Kobe Sando, which was very tasty as well. The bread was a little firmer than I personally prefer, but it still worked well with the sandwich and didn't take away from the overall experience. We sat outside along the side of the restaurant and really enjoyed the seating area. Inside, the deli is just as interesting. They have displays of aged meats and a walk-in room arcade that feels like a hidden gem. It's a unique touch that adds a lot of character to the space. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Great food, great atmosphere, and great hospitality. Can't wait to come back and work my way through more of the menu.

Better than any of them. Period. I've seen them make it 3 or 4 different ways. Usually they serve 2 or so styles at a time. It's always fantastic. Their Godfather is a take on the Bay Cities Godmother. A pretty great one at that. Their jamon is incredible. They just get that great sandwiches are made first and foremost with great ingredients. There is no hiding quality on a sando, and they don't try. The portions are huge, and it's all so, so good. You can't go wrong here.

We popped in today and were impressed by the huge selection of sandwich options. You can choose from several breads including focaccia, sourdough, baguette, or whole wheat, and then build from a really interesting variety of meats, cheeses, and vegetarian toppings. The cheese selection alone was worth the visit. They offer unique choices like Stilton, horseradish cheddar, and several English cheeses (plus plenty of brie options that work beautifully on their sandwiches). It's not your typical deli lineup, which makes the menu fun to explore. We ordered the half sandwich and half salad combo, which was the perfect portion for lunch. You can also order full sandwiches or full salads, and they offer chips on the side if you want a little crunch with your meal. For dessert we split an ice cream sandwich called "Monkey in the Middle." It had banana ice cream between two soft cinnamon cookies with chocolate hazelnut spread. We shared it four ways and it was the perfect little sweet ending. They also have a nice selection of canned beverages, and there's a water station out front if you just want something simple. Best of all, sitting outside in Los Olivos is such a treat. Great food, lots of creative options, and a relaxed wine-country atmosphere. We'll definitely stop again next time we're in town.
