A great tourist hotspot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Be prepared that most everything is fried. Parking is difficult and limited since it's one small section to the side, but during busy hours they usually have valet parking. The tables outside are picnic tables/benches with umbrellas. The live band is usually obnoxiously loud, like anywhere else. Service is good. It's a great place to unwind or party with friends. And, of course, the ocean view is wonderful. read more

We asked our Airbnb host where a good spot for breakfast was, and she recommended this place. It's on the ground floor of a small hotel overlooking the beach. This is a seat-yourself venue. The majority of the seating is outside, which is cool. However, it was windy enough that we chose to eat inside. There's hardly any seating indoors, but luckily there was a two-top available by the window so that we could still enjoy the view. We were given menus and asked what we wanted to drink by one of the waitstaff. We told him we had never been there, so we would need a few seconds to look at the menu. He told us that we could just let our waitress Lyndsie know what we wanted when she came over. After perusing the menu, my husband decided on the chorizo omelette while I opted for biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs. Both of our meals came with home fries, and we made sure to ask them to cook onions in with them. Lyndsie was very friendly and stayed on top of our needs. The only real downside is that I could barely breathe when I entered the ladies bathroom due to the massive overkill of some type of air freshener! We'll be back the next time we're in the area. I'll just have to make sure that I don't drink enough coffee so that I need to use the bathroom. read more

Sorry but I won't recommend. It works if you're hungover and the weather is good enough to sit outside. They serve drinks with breakfast and the outdoor seating area is right on the beach. This day we had to sit inside, however, as it was misting and they couldn't handle raising the umbrellas on the tables outside. The place is connected to the Ocean East Resort Club, which we didn't stay at. We had to listen the to obligatory loud drunk guy at the bar at 9 a.m. as well as all of the servers conversations about their previous night out. Most of them looked like they hadn't been home to wash or change their clothes. Breakfast was as good as any 12-year-old could have prepared. Muffins with no butter and "hash browns" that were simply chopped potatoes cooked in a deep fryer. Our waitress never checked back on us so we never has a chance for a coffee or water refill even though we were one of only six tables with at least six servers. Don't go here unless it's for drinks later on or no other place will serve you. If it's an edible breakfast you want without the hassle and the dirty surroundings, go to Denny's down the street. That's what we get for giving the local establishment a shot. read more

Have you ever wanted to kiss your Uber driver? No? Well, this complete stoner dude in a dirty Nissan Juke took it upon himself to tell me about The Beach Bucket and I'm soooo glad he did. I almost planted a sloppy wet kiss on his face in gratitude. After a 4+ hour ride with the Mile Marker 133 Biker Crew from Miami Beach to Daytona and spending the day and long night as my alter ego (biker chick) terrorizing the streets at Bike Week, I woke up the next day thinking about nothing but breakfast in and around my face. My foggy recollection brought up a Denny's that was near my hotel. At that point I was desperate to get a table and a cup of coffee in my system from just about anywhere. I open the door of the Uber and am greeted by a Cheech-n-Chong cloud of smoke and pour myself in with the rest of my posse and he is like, DUUUUDDDEEE do you REALLY want to go to DENNY'S??? Thankfully The Beach Bucket was just another few blocks down and I figured this stoner must know the good mood food in the area. Not knowing what to expect, we hobble our hungover asses through the divey bar area and out onto the patio which overlooks the most breathtaking sandy beach, complete with crashing waves and delicious salty breeze. I must have sat there for an hour in utter shock. On Miami Beach, we have nothing of the sort. Rarely do you find an average Joe kind of place with a killer view like that. Almost every seat was taken by fellow bikers but luckily we found a table right on the railing. Our view was 100% unobstructed. The waitress stops by and gets our orders - bloody marys all around. I opted for the biscuits and sausage gravy with scrambled eggs and bacon. It took quite a while to get our grub, but again, we just didn't care. We sat, talked and drank about 3 pots of coffee while people watching and being jealous of tourists driving their cars right on the sand. The bloody mary was not the best I've ever had, but was the hair of the dog I needed. Breakfast was pretty standard and unmemorable, but satisfied my belly for a decent price. I was eyeing my husband's (Rigo R) crab benedict which I stole a bite of and was definitely the winning dish at the table. Needless to say, the view alone is what really makes this place. Don't come expecting gastropub, foo-foo, high-end fare. The servers are nice, but expect to wait when they are busy. Th e Beach Bucket could literally serve up slop on a plate and I'd still show up just for the view. read more

Such a fun place to eat!! We went there for lunch during race weekend so it was very busy, but Bree was very attentive and kept informing us of delays. We are on the patio and it had amazing views of the ocean. The pork nachos were so good and the portions were generous. We went during happy hour so they had some good deals on appetizers and drinks. They mix their alcohol pretty strong so you get your money worth ordering any mixed drinks! We shared a bucket and it was plenty for two people and then some! Would recommend!! read more

Yes it's a well kept secret hole in the wall for good reason! We don't want it overwhelmed by tourists! Parking is limited but Andy Romano Park is close by for added parking if a short walk along the beach for added romance. The food is really excellent casual. We love ahi tuna wrap ... filling tastey and healthy. But smoked dip and really everything is great. Drinks are also by the bucket if you want to party. And all this ON THE BEACH! As the sun sets it's fire pit time. But seating is limited around the pits so get there early. And check out the live music times! Another great thing here they open EARLY for breakfasts!!!! We took a trip to the beach bucket in Daytona and we loved every second. The food was really good, the servers were really nice, and the atmosphere to the restaurant was very comfortable and fun!! Absolutely love the Blackened Shrimp Taco with the avocado salsa. The fries are great, they are covered in a batter of some sort which makes them very crispy. The view is amazing, it's the closest you can get to eating on the beach without getting sand in your food. The blonde behind the bar was a delight, drinks were good too. Worst service! It's a shame, because the location and view are great! My husband and I were told by the bartender to sit where we liked outside on the patio. We saw 3 servers walk in and out serving their tables, however after 10 minutes of waiting, we had yet to be acknowledged. My husband went inside to order drinks. Finally a server walked up with menus and set ups (not one of the three that were serving tables that I had seen). I said my husband had gone in to get our drinks and she just said "fine" and started to walk away. I said, " we would like to see the menu" .
