The 3 stars are for the view. This is the second time being here and I was very disappointed. When we sat down at the table it was sticky so obviously not wiped off after the guest before us. I ordered the mozzarella Caprese panini with extra crispy fries and received mozzarella and tomatoes on a pita bread that was not pressed like a panini. The fries were not crispy but instead slightly undercooked. My husband got the chicken tenders with chips & salsa. He liked the chicken but the chips were stale. Other than having a bit of a time finding this restaurant, it was worth it. We literally were maybe 75 feet from the Atlantic Ocean. As the waves were slowly crashing on the beach we enjoyed a delightful Mimosa and Bloody Mary. Our server was very cordial and helpful making several brunch suggestions. We settled on a shrimp and Crab omelet. It was serves with a choice of biscuit, toast, croissant and wonderfully fried potatoes. I usually don't comment on breakfast because at best, it's ho-hum. A nice, scenic view of the beautiful beach of Daytona. Came here for brunch and it wasn't that crowded at all for Labor Day weekend. We were self-sat outside underneath the shade and was attended pretty quickly. We ordered two Mai Tais and shared a steak-mozzarella panini with fries. The drinks were pretty sweet, so we ended up grabbing Landsharks for the remainder of the meal. The panini was nothing to special, but the fries were delicious! Wow! The view is amazing, the food is delicious...don't let the hole in the wall placement scare you off. The Cole slaw is delicious, the tuna melt is so yummy and cheesy---the Parmesan cheese is grilled into the crust of the sourdough bread. Enough said. The bucket burger is good, just wish it was more seasoned. It was moist though. The chicken tenders are heat hot and good. Just wish the tenders were thicker. The kids fried fish is a little greasy, yet breaded right and so flavorful...definitely something to have at the beach! The server was nice and very attentive. read more

While camping at the beautiful Tomoka State Park, we wandered into town for lunch and found this place on a recommendation of a local. It is a comfy little bar but it has a lot of outside seating ON the beach. Perfect. Our server was friendly, fast, kept an eye on us, top notch. We ordered and shared a conch fritter appetizer: 6 good sized fritters with a zippy sauce. Lots of conch. We also shared fish tacos and upped the fish to Mahi. (extra $2- worth it) 2 soft tacos with a big chunk of delicious grilled fish in each..topped with a sauce and avocado. Delicious, a little messy, but who cares? It came with delicious crunchy fries. It was a delightful time and a great meal. Before tip, it was around $32. We were very pleased with the whole experience. When you go, plan on walking the beach....it will be calling you! read more

My husband and I came to celebrate our dirty dizen wedding anniversary in Daytona and wanted to eat dinner on the beach with local live music near by. We found this spot on Yelp with good reviews. I called a few times to make sure there was no wait and that the weather (thunderstorms brewing) didn't impact seating options. They were very sweet and helpful both times I called. Atmosphere: All of the staff were so friendly and socialized with us at some point during our time there. Weather wasn't great but it was still very nice to sit beach front with nice breeze. Relaxing and chill! Food: my husband was craving conch fritters, which was the other reason we chose this spot. They were very good. Cooked and seasoned well and dipping sauce was perfect. I ordered the avocado tuna wrap. It was fresh and good flavor. I got garlic broccoli as my side which was cooked and seasoned well. My husband got the steak and mozzarella panini with fries. I didn't get a photo but it looked more like a gyro than a panini. It lacked an even amount of mozzarella and tomatoes. One half had it but the other half really didn't. The fries were the breaded looking ones that were just ok and lacked seasoning. I don't think we would get that again but it was ok. Drinks: I got the perfect patron margarita (2 actually). I like a lot of salt on the rim and I told our waitress this and she definitely passed along the message to the bartender. It was shaken and served to perfection! My husband asked about the IPAs they had and their alcohol content. He likes a good buzz but doesn't like to get smashed on one beer. The manager even came over and googled the content for us as they didn't know off hand. He ended up trying a few kinds and liked them all. Overall it was a relaxing time with pleasant people. We ended up walking next door to the Riptide restaurant for some live music and a few more cocktails before heading back to our hotel. read more

Their prices are also incredible, and service is surprisingly good even when they're insanely busy. It's such a nice feeling to sit and see a great view of the beach, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. Their drinks are also so cheap, and they do not skimp out on the alcohol. Order their blackened tilapia fish tacos, shrimp tacos, and smoked fish dip. Everything was so fresh but didn't make you feel gross afterwards. I want to come here again and again. It was our first pit stop after I flew in from New York. I've never been here before but def was in need of some good fish tacos and a beverage. Julia was our server. She was AWESOME!!! I had the blacked fish tacos w fries and to drink I had a vodka lemonade. The drinks were great and the food was pretty good. I deducted one star bc of the fries. They weren't too hot. Crab cakes are appetizers, and are a hearty size for an app. The remoulade sauce was fantastic, but the crab was shy on lumps of crab. The filler was delicious though! Fast friendly service. Two considerations: seating is open seating, so there were people stannding around waiting for folks to get up & leave. Uncomfortable. Parking can be tough if the hotel is full, and the seating is of course located beachside. Bring your patience, it's worth it. read more
